We stayed at the hotel in late 2025.3 Everything exceeded our expectations. When I book, it seems the location outside the city is a drawback of this hotel, which is compensated by a free pickup. But for a sightseeing trip in ZhangYe and with services the hotel has to offer, the location doesn't matter at all. Not to mention that the hotel's car+driver offer is quite competitive compared to what we have pre-booked. ###Room###: The room was spacious with comfortable beds and lots of amenities. WiFi speed is decent. There is also a public washing & drying machine, where the maid offered to wash our clothes. ###Restaurant###: The breakfast was plenty. The dinner offer a wide variety of local and standard dishes at an accpetable price. We got a free decent late night snack/dessert (with milk for children) delivered to the room at night. ###Staff###: The staff was very attentive. It started with the driver waiting at the train staion exit. Then we were greeted at the hotel by a staff with a good command of English. The staff has good knowledge of sightseeing spots in ZY. At dinner, the staffs made their best to help us understand the menu, patiently expained the food choices, as well as help estimate how much food we should order. (We are traveling with 2 children.) When we arrive back at the hotel in the evening, they enthusiasticly offered to help carry our stuffs. Tips are not expected nor accepted. If I have to comment, a moisturizing lotion and extra blankets in the room would help when the weather is cold. This hotel will definitely be my first choice if we ever come to Zhangye again.

We spent 9 days around LanZhou- XiNing - YinChuan staying in the top 5-star hotels in all 3 cities. We can easily conclude that Hyatt Regency LanZhou is the best by a long shot. We were fortunate to have Mr. Yuan of the front desk arrange all our pre check in request. And for a smooth check in- we were lucky to be received by Ms. Paris. She was very gracious and professional. Breakfast at the hotel should be one of LanZhou’s tourist attractions- such a memorable experience. We will definitely be back in the future.

Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Zhangye West, da die Umgebung des neuen Hotels insgesamt sehr sauber ist und über eine intelligente Sprachsteuerung verfügt. Beim Einchecken gibt es außerdem weiße Pilzsuppe und einen Fußbadeeimer, was ein Bonus ist , Sie müssen jedoch im Voraus eine Reservierung an der Rezeption vornehmen. Aber die Schalldämmung im Hotelzimmer ist wirklich schlecht. Ich konnte das Schnarchen im Nebenzimmer deutlich hören.

We arrived at the accommodation when it was raining heavily. There were a lot of leaks from the roof, when we entered the room we simply saw that the mattress was completely wet as a result of the leak. We then moved to another room where there was a leak in the bathroom as well as a lot of dirt, including in the toilet. In the meantime, the girl at the desk honored us with a very tasty local watermelon. She apologized for the situation and moved us to another room. The next room was a huge room, I think it was their suite. The room itself was really comfortable and large, but it was simply full of spiders and cobwebs. We decided that we would still stay in the room despite its poor maintenance. They cleaned the room for us a little, but it didn't help, but we had no more strength to complain. We cleaned it ourselves so that the stay would be reasonable. It should be noted that the place only has a solar water heater, so on cloudy and rainy days there will be no hot water as happened to us on the day of arrival. We asked the staff in the evening for tomatoes and onions and they happily gave us them free of charge. This is noteworthy and thank you for that. It should be noted that the Didi does not always arrive at the accommodation location, they offer a paid shuttle, which is convenient. On the second day we went out to the dunes at sunrise, the guy at the desk insisted that we would be cold and gave us some kind of sand socks. Only when we returned did we realize that it was actually a fee of 20 for both of us (just like on the website, and much more than supermarkets in the area). We did not understand why we were not told that it was a fee, plus it looked used and did not come in a plastic wrap. Apart from this incident, the staff was nice and helped us with the shuttle (for a fee). The breakfast was great, and they tried to help us according to our vegetarianism. We wanted to extend our stay after cleaning the room ourselves and it was decent and good, but the price was high for us, which is perfectly fine and reasonable on their part, and we decided to leave.

The train station basement had no internet connection so I was not able to get DiDi.  Not only did I overpay even after negotiating, but the driver spent the beginning part of the trip texting and I had to swing my arm across him as we were about to rear end another car.  20 minutes later arrival at Maiji Shan park entrance. The friendly owner was already there and immediately helped me with my bags.  A few minute drive to the expansive farmhouse.  I asked for a bowl of noodles which was hot and delicious provided by a grandmother woman. Chinese farm Breakfast was plentiful.  I used the heat as the mountains got cold quickly when the sun dropped.  The immaculate room was large with two double beds, a tv and desk.  The bathroom had integrated toilet and shower so it is wet.  Plenty of hot water tho the turn on was a matter of button pressing.  I learned something new!  Toiletries and paper towels (another first) were provided.  The owner took me to Maiji Shan.  Sadly, it was closed; rain had made rocks fall making it dangerous to climb the stairs. Nevertheless, I took some photos.  I tried to walk back (beautiful fall day), but the owner met me along the wayThe owner and I communicated via WeChat translator.  DIdi was not available and as we started for the train station the bus came behind us.  So the owner put me on it and I wrote via the app.  The bus drives very slowly but I got to the station to run back and forth with my bags, then going to a different floor to get a paper ticket, then back to the waiting area, thru the gate, up the stairs, and finally to my sleeper car.  Outside of asking me for my passport and various tickets about 10 times no personnel was particularly helpful tho I was noisily wheezing.  As I was getting off, Another passenger grabbed my bags and ran down the stairs with them and then went back to the train.  Probably someone in the medical field!  Platform smoking and between cars smoking can affect some people.

Sehr zufrieden, Erwartungen wurden völlig übertroffen. Ich habe ein Familienzimmer gebucht. Das Zimmer ist groß, das Bett ist mit Tatami-Matten ausgelegt, das Badezimmer ist ebenfalls groß und die Raumaufteilung ist sehr gut. Die Rezeptionistin und die Haushälterin Xiaodai reagierten schnell auf Nachrichten und kümmerten sich um Notfälle. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Das Hotel bietet einen kostenlosen Transfer vom und zum Flughafen. Es liegt direkt neben dem Nachtmarkt, ist aber nachts absolut ruhig und sehr leise.

Die Gastfamilie hat mir eine solche echte individuelle Aufmerksamkeit gegeben, die mir persönliche Beratung für den Besuch des atemberaubenden Crescent Moon Lake und der erstaunlichen Mogao Grottoes bietet. Ihre Tipps waren unwertvoll und half mir, diese Wunder voll zu erleben. Jetzt das Essen! Jedes Essen war eine Freude, authentische, kocht zu Hause, und mit so viel Pflege frisch zubereitet. Es war wirklich lecker und gab mir einen echten Geschmack der lokalen Küche. Mein Zimmer war ein Garten von Komfort und Sauberkeit, absolut unspottbar während meines Aufenthalts. Ein wunderbarer täglicher Touch war die Füllung von komplimentären Getränken: Erfrischung Pfirsiche Tee, sauberes Wasser und leckeres Coconut Wasser37413, nach einem Tag der Erforschung der Wüste. Die beeindruckendste Minute kam bei meiner Abreise, als die Gastgeber mich mit exquisiten Erinnerungen aus den Mogao Grottoes vorgestellt haben. Es war eine Geste der Güte und Großzügigkeit, die ich ewig schätzen werde. Dieser Aufenthalt ist ein Geschirr, perfekt für alleinreisende, die sich um eine sichere und willkommene Umgebung, Paare, die sich um ein einzigartiges Rückzug kümmern, oder Familien, die eine echte Erfahrung wollen. Das Gefühl der Träume, das Gefühl der Wüste ist großartig! Die Wohnung im Wüsten ist zunächst die Landschaft. Die Landschaft der Wüste und der Berge ist nicht zu sagen. Obwohl sie unter den Fußen des Berges gesagt wird, ist es immer noch ein Gedankenschild. Es ist auch sehr gut, die freien Orte zu fotografieren, die uns geleitet haben, wie man den Sternenraum zu fotografieren und die Mobiltelefonunterstützung zu bieten, toll ps. Wir verbrachten drei Nächte in Dunhuang. Das gesamte B&B ist rustikal und frisch eingerichtet, mit Wasser, Bambus, Katzen und Hunden. Die Kinder waren begeistert. Die Zimmer sind recht groß, und für Autofahrer gibt es gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Es ist nicht weit vom Mingsha-Berg, dem Halbmondsee, dem Dunhuang-Museum und den Mogao-Grotten entfernt. Das Frühstück war zwar nicht besonders abwechslungsreich, aber Nudeln, Porridge, Dampfbrötchen, Blumenrollen, Beilagen, Mais, Eier und Obst waren mehr als ausreichend und schmeckten gut. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Die Bedienung war etwas laut … Der größte Nachteil waren die schlechten sanitären Anlagen mit vielen Fliegen. Die Snack- und Kaffeeecke an der Rezeption wäre zwar ein Pluspunkt gewesen, aber die Fliegen waren ziemlich lästig. Das Wasser war warm und kalt, und das Badezimmer hatte keinen Trocken-/Nassbereich, sodass es nach dem Duschen ziemlich rutschig war. Vorsicht ist also geboten. Am Eingang des B&B befindet sich eine Plattform, die nicht sehr auffällig ist. Ich bin gestürzt, und auch das ist ein Punkt, auf den man achten sollte. Vielleicht könnte der Besitzer mehr Blumentöpfe oder ähnliches auf den ebenen Boden stellen.
