Downtown Ukiah is also host to many events including a weekly Farmers Market Fabulous Flashback Car Show in September and the Taste of Downtown featuring local restaurants and wineries in June. Downtown is also home to Ukiah Brewing Company Restaurant which was the first certified organic brew pub in the United States. One block north of the Days Inn is the Redwood Empire Fairgrounds which hosts the annual fair in August in addition to with many other events. Area attractions and activities within a short drive of Ukiah include over 40 wineries 2 casinos fishing at Lake Mendocino and the City of Ten Thousand Buddha. The Mendocino Coast and spectacular redwood forests are within a one hour drive from Ukiah. Clean for a downtown motel in the heart of Ukiah. Great access to shops & food. Pool was well kept. Check in was clean. Room was clean. The down was the complimentary breakfast. No eggs, no meats, all they had was dry cereal, white toast and beverages with yogurt & old bananas.

I stayed here one night and that would've done it for me. No bottom rooms available for handicap people like myself and luckily there was still half a roll of toilet paper when I arrived. My room smelled of cigarette upon walking in and breakfast was limited. Otherwise the location isn't terrible as it is enclosed but it does need some working on.

This is a Days Inn, so sound proofing between rooms and floors is minimum. The men in the room above ours stomped around until after midnight, making wood crackling sounds amid the booms, then started up about 5:30 am. Showers in other rooms are amplified in our bathroom. Lack of a bathroom fan is causing rust on metal pieces. Sharp corners on the bathroom vanity could badly injure someone who falls, slips or trips. I'm 5'11" and my feet are inches above the floor when I sit on the edge of the bed. The hybrid mattress pillowtop is so soft that it's a struggle to get out of bed. The mini fridge, which is parked by the front door and bed, is constantly making noise while it runs. The upholstered chair looks inviting, but you wind up sinking into the foam until your rear end is below the level of your knees. The room looks refreshed and inviting, but there are many signs that it was a quick and dirty makeover. The yellowing electrical outlets near the new bathroom light switch say it best. Good thing the bill was just under $100. We'll never stay there again.

Always has friendly staff and comfortable beds. Restaurants and bar within walking distance. Spacious and clean rooms and good water pressure in the shower. Great value.

Toilet wasn’t attached to the floor, no bath mat,dryer paint on the toilet seat and surrounding area, no curtains over the window & you could see through the blind from the outside. Additionally the bed lamp was broken and there was no shade on the table lamp. Every corner had accumulated dirt crusted in it. Very, very disappointing ❗️
