Not all five star hotels are created equal. This truth was evident from the moment I stepped into the hotel. Car parking - that will be 20 euro a night. Alternatives? No idea (turned out that you can park three blocks away for less than 10 euro a night depending on departure time next day). Room upgrade - impossible - I get that this isn't always possible but the delivery by staff is all important. The room - ok - nothing to write home about (shower leaked from the top - when I mentioned as I left no one seemed to care - which just about summed up my stay). The view - from the back side of the hotel - not worth the money. The breakfast - passible. All in all would I go back? Honestly no - I'd definitely look elsewhere.

We really liked the hotel and our stay there. The room was very nice, new and very clean, and cleaning service was great. We really liked the breakfast in the hotel, it had various savory and sweet options, different vegetables, fruits, cheeses, pastries, juices, and everything was very tasty (especially the best rice pudding and apple-filled pastries I ever had…). The coffee they serve is very delicious too. There was also a part of food offer that is adequate for Jews (kosher) which is very nice. The location of the hotel is ideal - it’s located near the city center (Aristoteles square and the city port) but in a bit more quiet area. One can have a pleasant walk to the square, along a wide street with many shops, restaurants and cafes. In between the hotel and the square there is an area with numerous traditional restaurants with really delicious food! What I would like to point out is how kind and helpful the staff is. We had a medical problem on the last day of our stay and had to go to the hospital. Katerina, at the reception desk, helped us so much and let us use the room and leave our baggage there much past the check out time, because we couldn’t be there on time for the checkout because of the whole hospital protocol. She was there for us and prolonged our stay for one more night, when we asked, just by phone. It was the help we really needed at the moment and she was very kind and understanding, that meant a lot to us. Thank you once more! Also, that day one person from the room couldn’t come to the breakfast because of the medical problem, and the lovely staff at the restaurant gave me a plastic box and told me that I can take anything I want from the buffet and bring them to the room. I would also like to mention Julia, the other lady at the reception desk, who was also very helpful and sweet, and the gentleman at the restaurant who made me an excellent coffee and was very kind and made our stay even more pleasant! Thank you for a nice stay and all the kindness! We will for sure be returning to Astoria hotel! ☺️

Es gibt auch Tonnen guter Restaurants innerhalb von wenigen Blocks Radius. Das inbegriffene Frühstück ist sehr gut mit der Fähigkeit, Omelette und andere Eier Gerichte zu bestellen, um mit den vielen Artikeln aus dem Buffet zu gehen. Die Zimmer sind in weiß gemacht und es funktioniert. Die Badezimmer sind alle Marmor und sehr modern. Ich vermute, dass die Preise für diesen Ort schnell ansteigen, wenn sein Ruf sich ausbreitet. Zurzeit ist es ein Verkauf.

Wir haben leider nur eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht. Jedes Zimmer ist völlig anders gestaltet. Schön Kurios keine Standard Einrichtung. Es war sehr sauber. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr sehr Nett und Humorvoll. Dass restliche Personal war ebenso Nett und kein bisschen aufdringlich. Das Hotel liegt Zentral im Stadtkern. Die Promenade mit Meerblick ist vom Hotel Fussläufig in ungefähr 10 min zu Erreichen . Viele Lokalitäten , Geschäfte und tolle Cafes . Am Wochenende ist die Stadt Rappelvoll und sehr laut .Ich würde es wieder buchen !!! Die Parkmöglichkeit war ca 10 min Fussweg entfernt was völlig Okay ist. Absolut Empfehlenswert!

What a beautiful apartment: light, modern and well equipped. It has lovely views over the port and out to sea. Very well situated for exploring the city and with many good restaurants and bars in the vicinity. My only negative comment would be that there is very little space to store clothes. Despite that little quibble I would recommend it very highly.

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel, großartiges Frühstück und großer Wert für Geld. Amazing Service und sehr freundliches Personal. Die Lage ist extrem zentraler für alle Restaurants und Nachtleben, was auch bedeutet, dass man einige Party-Geräusche in der Nacht erwartet werden kann. Ich wäre jederzeit zurückgekommen!
