Direkt am Alexander-Platz gelegen findet man dieses modere 5-Sterne-Haus, das durch modernes Design besticht. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, auch wenn die Lichtschalter bisweilen verwirren, ist alles funktional gestaltet. Wir bekamen ein Upgrade auf eine Junior-Suite mit Balkon zum Innenhof. Das Frühstück im Distrikt-Restaurant überzeugt, der Spa-Bereich ist am Wochenende sehr frequentiert. Die Massage dort war außerordentlich gut. Die Lounge bietet zur Zeit nicht das volle Programm, so dass man pro Person 750-Denar-Voucher für das Restaurant erhält - ein fairer Deal. Was besonders herausragend ist, ist die Einstellung der Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter: Man merkt, dass sie sich mit ihrer Arbeit identifizieren und stolz sind, hier zu arbeiten. Das gilt für den Trainee bis hin zum Manger on Duty. So erhält man einen persönlichen und herzlichen Service, dass man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Großartig! We came to Skopje for the England game. We had booked quite a few rooms - unfortunately this confused the check-in staff and we all ended up in rooms with our friend’s names. This wouldn’t have mattered but it was then a 1.5 hr marathon trying to get my points awarded for my room. Eventually a manager was called and he got it all sorted but it wasn’t really what you expect at the Holiday Inn. The rooms were nice, clean and adequate. However a couple of our rooms had no hot water on the first morning, maybe it’s more to do with the City than the hotel but it wasn’t very convenient. All in all it was a good place to stay and the location is fantastic for walking everywhere, including back from the stadium.

Das Personal ist super freundlich, sehr zuvorkommend man fühlt sich absolut wohl. Der Spa-Bereich ist sauber und absolut ausreichend um einfach mal die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Die Lage ist super, man ist innerhalb von nicht mal 2 min Fußweg direkt in der Altstadt/Zentrum und auch nahe einer Burg wo man einen Ausblick über Skopje hat. Das Frühstück ist üppig und perfekt um in einen Tag voller Erkundungen zu starten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das einzige was es zu bemerken gibt ist, dass die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind. Man hört die Stühle in dem Restaurant oben drüber, weil die Zimmer alle direkt darunter sind. Man gewöhnt sich dran aber für jemanden mit sowieso hellem Schlaf könnte es sehr störend sein. Die Zimmer sind sauber aber schlicht gehalten.

These weren’t met except by the reception staff who were excellent. The hotel is in a great location just off the bazaar. The bed and room was comfortable but the bathroom door was glass, the bath lacked a shower curtain and was really high to step up in to. Downstairs lobby has been modernised but the 7th floor where breakfast is was set up like a wedding/function venue with large tables. There weren’t many guests eating when we were so easy for us to get a table for six to ourselves.Full range of cold/cooked/ cereals/breads/cake/ delicious fruit. Swimming pool in summer is deceptive as it feels almost too hot in the room so put us off a bit. But the water was lovely and cool. Quite small so just for gentle paddling and bobbing about not for doing lengths. The shaded part of the roof top bar was closed for a separate function so there was nowhere to sit in the shade, so never tried it. Worth going up for view of the city though but a shame as it’s one of the things that attracted us to chose this hotel. Taxi from bus station was 110 dinars, just 5-10 minutes away. Try and find ‘tea street’ in the bazaar in the evening, great place for people watching with an iced coffee. It’s parallel to the hotel street about 2 or 3 streets into the bazaar. 3 hours from Skopje by bus to Ochrid town/lake. Well worth a couple of days in each place. Also did Free Walking Tours Skopje which was great and I’ve left a separate review for. Skopje is a fascinating city to visit. Ottoman history and culture north of the river, Balkan culture to the south.

Ich war schon mehrere Male hintereinander in diesem Hotel. Das Frühstück ist jeden Tag das gleiche, aber die Auswahl ist ziemlich reichhaltig. Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich und freute sich jedes Mal zu treffen. Das einzig schlechte ist, dass die Zimmer relativ klein sind, aber dies ist im Stadtzentrum.

Been here a few times now, and have always been satisfied. During a year since my last stay things have changed. And not for the better . The good stuff: Location right on the walking street, easy walk to everything. Due to my status I was upgraded to a bigger room and received water and fruit, which I appreciate. I was also invited to free breakfast so will not comment on that. What I will say is that the breakfastroom is way to small when the hotel is fully booked and all groups descide to have breakfast at the same time. My room at the 4th floor, has a small balcony, there I found old cups with rotten fruits in it. Wifi was very bad in this room which made it difficult to do my work. Coffee/tea was non existing (apart from the kettle). No tissues and the soapcontainers are so old that they dont work properly. Cleaners had a bad attitude, they did not remove old towels from the floor and toiletpapaper was not restocked. I had one linnen change which had stains . Corridor smelled like sewage. Service has gone down, I think only the young man working in the cafe knows what he is doing, at least he is attentive to his customers. When he was not working, I was just ignored or staff was simply not present. Had two meals which was of bad quality. To sum it up, Best Western Turist will not be my first choice on my next visit to Skopje. I would rate the hotel as beeing 3star.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel Alexander II. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Flughafentransfer. Wir waren sehr gut in der Rezeption und das ganze Team war sehr gut und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und vor allem waren wir sehr nah und gingen nach meiner Reise nach Skopje. Ich empfehle Ihnen, dass ich das Hotel Alexandre I bevorzuge.

The room given to us was on third floor overlooking street Room 308 Full of natural light Not a big room though spacious enough It was very clean and bed very comfortable Two different types of pillows TV had many channels and quite a few in English and 3 in Italian WiFi was excellent I loved the breakfast offered on day two as we went down at 07:30 First day we were late 08:30 and there was less of a choice I must point out that the ladies who run the breakfast room are very kind I asked for a scrambled egg as I don't particularly.like omelette or fried eggs That was no problem at all The room doesn't have any windows though I didn't find it to be claustrophobic I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone except those with walking difficulties as one has to climb 4 stairs from reception area to reach the lift There is no handrail either I asked the receptionist to inform the Manager as it's needed for people who find it difficult to climb stairs All in all we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel.Thank you to all the staff who made it possible

Absolut schönes Hotel, vor allem das Badezimmer. Personal sehr angenehm und das Essen ist ziemlich gut. Die A/C ist ein wenig von einem Rückzug , es sei denn, Sie löschen es ist auf 25 Grad festgelegt. Das Hotel ist sehr verschlossen, so dass Sie nicht in das Zimmer ein Brise erreichen können, indem Sie die Fenster öffnen. Das Hotel selbst ist buchstäblich 3 Minuten zu Fuß zum Hauptplatz, das sehr beeindruckend ist.

Very much enjoyed my (one night) stay in Hotel Centar. Everything about it was good. I arrived by bus to Skopje bus station and had a 10 minute walk to the hotel (slightly tricky, I may add, as the hotel is slightly off-centre and not terribly well signposted - but Google Maps to the rescue!) The hotel was very pleasant, staff extremely pleasant and helpful and the room quality was very good. Breakfast was included in the price and had lots of stuff on offer (have to confess I am not a breakfast person). There appears to be a swimming pool in the small complex where the hotel is located, and this is free to guests. Can't confirm as I didn't take advantage of thus. My memories of this hotel are good

3+ Stern. Zimmer für Verbesserung. Ich wollte 3 tun, aber es fühlte sich hart. Lassen Sie mich erklären. Wie bei anderen Bewertungen ist das Hotel oft unbemannt. Genau wie es WiFi gab, wie wir 2 Fragen per Telefon korrigieren konnten. (Check-in und Stromabschaltung) Wir hatten ein Zwilling reserviert und gab ein Doppel. Angesichts des Mangels an Personal erscheint es nicht wert, das auch zu sortieren, aber das hat vielleicht andere unbehaglich gemacht. Wir hatten keine Anweisungen für das Frühstück, Glücklich war die Dame am Morgen in der Lage, zu helfen und Frühstückskupons zu geben (die Dame war die Reinigung?) So konnten alle oben genannten Fragen durch die Rezeption vorhanden oder bessere Kommunikation gelöst werden. Es ist gerettet durch eine wunderbare Lage! Sehr zentraler. Und das Frühstück (im Geschäft über die Straße serviert) war gut. (Obwohl nicht gut erläutert, wählen Sie Artikel aus einem Menü in einem gesunden Lebensmittelkaffee. Omelette oder smoothie) Wir trafen Goran am Ende. Er schien ein wirklich nett freundlicher Typ. Ich denke, wir hätten bessere Erfahrung hätte er vorgekommen. So bewertet großzügig 4/5 . Aber bessere Kommunikation könnte es positiv machen. (Ich würde wieder bleiben, wie immer noch guten Wert liefern)

The hotel is in a central location, the staff is very friendly and helpful; we especially want to mention Mohamed at the reception who helped us rebook the room. Breakfast offers a lot of variety and is lovingly prepared. The mattresses are very comfortable and the bathroom had a wonderful rain showerhead. Tea and coffee makers are in the room. My one disappointment was that the website shows a sofa in a standard bouquet classic room which was not the case. We needed to upgrade to a junior suite but received a discount on the new room. The suite was very large and just like in the picture. They even provided a dog bed and 2 bowls. Everything was wonderful and we would stay at Leonardo again.

The Panoramika is a stylish, modern hotel overlooking the city from the hillside on the residential side of the river. The view from the Sky Bar Restaurant is beautiful, and the restaurant serves excellent food. My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 1 night in mid-September as part of a group tour of the Balkans, eating both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Our room (#112) was small but attractive and comfortable, decorated in modern Euro style. It was on the terrace side so it had no view. There were comfortable twin beds with two nightstands, but the outlets near them were occupied with plugs from the bed lights, a design oversight. There was a built-in closet that had adequate storage but was half-length. The bathroom was somewhat small but adequate, with a shower open to the vanity area that allowed water to be a slight problem in that area. There was a moderate amount of counter space. All in all, the Panoramika might be a comfortable choice for a stay in Skopje, but we would recommend upgrading your room for more space and a better view.
