Whenever we went for a staycation in the marine parade area, it was always either the Grand Mercure Roxy hotel or the Village Katong hotel. We passed by this Hotel Indigo Katong numerous times but never thought twice about it until this one time we wanted to visit the i12 Katong mall and decided to just spend a night at that hotel and ohh boy what a delightful stay! The hotel is so tastefully adorned with Peranakan motifs and furnished with modern furniture that includes a carrom board (with the seeds and powder!) that serves as the dining table and a fabulous big, rounded bathtub with separate standing rain shower and separate toilet area. The king bed was just nice and pillows fluffy enough for a good restful sleep. It’s great that starbucks is just downstairs, being the hotel is attached to Katong square and the i12 mall. The weekend flea market downstairs was also awesome, selling vintage wares & clothings. All in all, we will be back again in future!

We stayed here as a group of 8 people during our business trip and I can fully recommend the hotel. the area was great for us, lot of bars and restaurants and good night life. Further, the bus which brought us to the company every day was just around the corner (Bus no. 15). The hotel itself is very clean, has a big shower (so good!!!) and was cleaned every day. I liked that in the bed there was two different pillows, a soft one and a firm one! since I only like soft ones it was great for me! the stuff is really nice and helpful. booking taxi middle in the night for us or giving good tips as we had some issues with the credit card (it wasn't hotel fault, it was the bank!) and the best : the stuff is always smiling!! not to forget the nice orange juice machine (two!). having a fresh orange juice after the hot working day was great! I didn't take any pictures of the hotel, but I did from the juice machine :) Breakfast was nice and there is always something for everyone. me for my part love Asian food, so I enjoyed kaya buns and the fresh fruits. Also the coffee is nice and I loved the masala tea! Around the corner of the hotel you can eat famous Katong laksa! the best in the city in my honest opinion! Also five chicken star is nice place to eat since they are serving very good hainanese chicken rice. If you go down the street from five chicken star, you will find Mel´s Place, a nice beer garden with local people. You can watch football here, play billard or enjoy live music on some events. When traveling, I like to connect with local people and get more nice tips where to go, so my tips here are far away from the touristic areas and events.

Wir übernachteten im Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy für 2 Nächte mit meiner Familie. Anfangs konnten wir keinen Schwi***latz bekommen, da er ausgebucht war. Das Schalterpersonal war sehr hilfsbereit und schaffte es, einen Platz für 2 Tage zu bekommen. Mein Sohn genoss den Pool trotz seiner nur 1-stündigen Schwimmzeit. Чистоты там нет от слова «совсем». Месторасположение идеальное! Завтрак это кофе, хлеб, масло и жижа-повидло. В номере не убирают (может надо отдельно просить). Весь Сингапур это чудо. Отель эмоций не омрачил, но это если вы не планируете в нем быть больше времени чем Вне. Мы жили 3 дня нормально перенесли ночевки. Ванная комната нормальная.

Die Lage des Hotels ist akzeptabel, etwas weit von der U-Bahn entfernt. Wenn man sich erst einmal mit der allgemeinen Umgebung vertraut gemacht hat, ist die Umgebung sehr belebt. Das Zimmer ist kompakt und ordentlich, obwohl die Schalldämmung nicht sehr gut ist, beeinträchtigt es die normale Ruhe nicht. Schließlich ist der Preis in Singapur nicht hoch und sollte unter ähnlichen Hotels der gleichen Kategorie in Ordnung sein. Unter Berücksichtigung von Faktoren wie Preis, Komfort, Bequemlichkeit, Sicherheit und Hygiene kann es sowohl für Geschäftsreisende als auch für Touristen empfohlen werden. Ich hoffe, dass der Laden es weiterhin pflegt! (Ein paar Fotos rund um das Hotel als Referenz)

Ich fand das Personal bei meiner Ankunft sehr herzlich und freundlich. Das Zimmer war recht geräumig und bot starkes WLAN, einen Kühlschrank, eine kräftige Dusche, einen Wasserkocher und kostenlosen Tee/Kaffee/Wasser. Alles sah schön und gepflegt aus. Die Reinigung des Badezimmers hätte etwas gründlicher sein können (viele lange schwarze Haare auf dem Boden), war aber insgesamt gut. Das Hotel war ruhig und das Bett bequem. In der Nähe gab es viele Restaurants und Geschäfte. Die nächste MTR-Station ist 10 Minuten entfernt und verbindet den Flughafen sowie das Stadtzentrum.

Vorteile: Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und die Transportmöglichkeiten sind sehr bequem. Sie erreichen den Busbahnhof in 2 Minuten. Es ist auch praktisch zum Einkaufen und Essen. Die Katong Mall und die Marine Parade sind nur 10 Gehminuten entfernt Einkaufszentrum. Das Hotelpersonal hat eine gute Serviceeinstellung und alle Feedbackprobleme werden gelöst. Es kann rechtzeitig gelöst werden; an der Rezeption gibt es ein malaiisches Mädchen, das Chinesisch spricht und die Sprachkommunikation verläuft reibungslos; es ist neu eröffnet, Die Zimmerausstattung ist neu und komplett ausgestattet. Unten gibt es einen Waschraum zur Selbstbedienung. Sie können durch Scannen des WeChat-Codes bezahlen, was sehr praktisch ist. Nachteile: Man muss mit dem Bus zur U-Bahn-Station fahren, was etwas umständlich ist; die Raumaufteilung ist kompakt, aber etwas klein, und das Öffnen des Koffers ist etwas eng; außerdem sind die sanitären Einrichtungen öffentlich Bereiche (wie Gänge und Waschküchen) müssen verbessert werden. Im Großen und Ganzen ist es ziemlich gut. In Anbetracht des Preises kann ich ihm immer noch die volle Punktzahl von 90 von 100 geben.
