Zum Empfang hat uns ein sehr freundlicher Herr, der perfekt Englisch sprach, begrüßt. Überall waren sehr schöne und kunstvolle Skulpturen aufgestellt! Leider habe ich keine Fotos gemacht. Das ganze Hotel ist sehr schön neu renoviert, mit wunderbaren sauberen Zimmern. Ein schöner Speisesaal lud uns zum Abend- und Frühstückessen ein. Zur unserer großen Überraschung befand sich dort u.a. ein freundlicher bayrischer Kellner. Das Essen war sehr gut, es gab jeden Abend ein anderes Menü. Allerdings gab es auch keine Auswahl, das war wohl die Abmachung zwischen unserem Reiseveranstalter und dem Hotel. Es gab sehr schöne Weine zu moderaten Preisen. Ein schöner großer Parkplatz ist vorhanden. Das Hotel befindet sich ca. 10 Gehminuten vom Historische Zentrum des Ortes entfernt. Zusammenfassend kann ich dieses Hotel jedem Gast empfehlen!!

Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist eine Freude durch das Hotel zu gehen - überall spürt man die Gastfreundlichkeit. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal - von der Rezeption bis hin zum Zimmermädchen - ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man spürt, dass man willkommen ist. Das Frühstück war das beste auf unserer gesamten Toskanarundreise. Sehr schön präsentiert und man bekam jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Ein frisches Spiegeleier war sogar überhaupt kein Problem (was nicht unbedingt normal ist in der Toskana) Sehr schöner Poolbereich mit bequemen Sonnenliegen. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Das Hotel dei Capitani befindet sich am Rande von Montalcino (nur 5 Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt) mit spektakulären Blicken auf den Tal unten. Zimmer sind ziemlich klein, aber bieten wunderbare Aussichten, ein komfortables Bett und ein gut ausgestattetes Badezimmer. Eine gute Auswahl an Getreide, Getreidepasten usw. wurde zum Frühstück auf der Terrasse überblickend Tausende von Brunello Weinbergen unten angeboten. Es gibt einige hervorragende Restaurants in Montalcino, so dass wir nicht zu Abend im Restaurant gegessen haben.

Die Architektur im historischen Zentrum von Pienza, die von einem alten Kloster, Service und Gastgeber auf der Spitze erzeugt wird, sollte nur mit einigen Zubehör in mehr als 4 Sternen ausgestattet werden (Kit cortesia, Schatten, Schalenschalen) aber für den Rest ist ein schöner Ort. Schwimmbad mit herrlichem Blick, Innenrestaurant mit Kundenservice und Pflege auf höchster Ebene (gut für alle Jungen und den Besitzer) auch wenn nur für ein Aperitiv verwendet wird, fantastisches Frühstück mit so vielen lokalen Produkten. Zurückkommen.

Diese kleine Stadt ist fantastisch, ruhig und weit weg, es gibt überhaupt keine Chinesen, ich werde auf jeden Fall das nächste Mal noch ein paar Tage bleiben! Die Hotelzimmer sind durchschnittlich, aber der Pool ist gut, die Umgebung ist wunderschön, das Frühstück ist relativ einfach.

Great choice for touring Val D'Orcia. Stayed two nights here in April. This was our third visit to Pienza but our first overnight stay. Picked the Corsignano primarily because it offered free on-site parking and was only a short walk to the the old walled town. Delighted with our choice. It ticked all of the boxes. Friendly reception, nice (very) clean room with terrace, comfortable bed, great shower, good breakfast, short walk to the beautiful old city and great restaurants. Free on-site parking was actually quite limited and was full when we arrived. The receptionist moved her own car to free up a space for us. No problem the second evening. The receptionist did inform us that due to government requirements for energy conservation we would need to call the desk to turn on the heat if we wanted it. We encountered this in other hotels also. We were very comfortable without it. Pienza is the ideal location for touring and enjoying the Val D'Orcia and the most beautiful areas of Tuscany. The views approaching Pienza from the south in the evening are stunning and unforgetable and the views from the Belvedere behind the Duomo are pure magic. The iconic winding cypress roadway at La Foce and the tiny Capella Vitaleta are just a short drive away - (the Capella is now open to the public down a 15 minute walk) Everywhere you look is a painting. Pure magic!!
