Nur die eine Nacht im Schlafzimmer mit Blick auf den Fluss blieb. Das Zimmer und die Suite waren sauber und das Bett war wirklich komfortabel. Das Essen im Restaurant war ausgezeichnet.

Check-in und Rezeption Personal ausgezeichnet sehr informativ und fand uns ein Zimmer, das bereit war, da wir ein paar Stunden früh waren. Als vorangegangene Bewertung entschieden wir uns für einen frühen Getränk, da wir einen Tisch im Restaurant gebucht hatten um 6 Uhr. Ich bestellte ein G&T und ich bestellte ein Pint von Boddingtons Bitter. Hier geht es alles falsch junge. Fühlte sich für das junge Mädchen hinter der Bar, sie war eindeutig aus ihrer Tiefe. Wir mussten Lemon fragen und es gab kein Eis. Ein wenig von einem Thema hier, das nach früheren Bewertungen beurteilt wurde. Nach dem Ziehen der zweiten Pinte ließ ich es erschreckend aussehen. Das Restaurantmenü war das gleiche wie die Bar. Wir konnten im Restaurant für 5 Minuten bleiben, es gab vier oder fünf Tische alle von der gleichen Gruppe junger Männer, die schrieen und schworen. Meine Frau ist kein schrumpfender Violet, aber sie stand auf und sagte: „Ich glaube, wir werden die Kinder im Spielfeld verlassen“ Wir sind zurück in die Bar-Zone und bis diese Zeit waren mehr Mitarbeiter gekommen. Wir waren im Urlaubsmodus, so dass wir das Beste davon getan haben. Besondere Lob sollte nach Corrina gehen, ich denke, sie war aus Rumänien. Sie hat eine Einflussnahme auf die Situation und das Personal und wir konnten ein Essen und ein Getränk bekommen. „Wie ich sagte, sie war das einzige Personal, das in diesem Abend organisatorische Fähigkeiten besitzt.

My first impression on entering the reception was that the lady checking me in was miserable and snappy, it is only when she noticed my response to this did her demeanour change. I did note this has been mentioned on previous r I was booked into a DELUXE room! There was nothing deluxe about this, on entering the first thing I noticed was the bed had no valance and straight away I noticed stains on the bed base. The full room was unclean and thick dust along the skirtings, especially under the TV turn table, there were drink spillages down the wall and the carpet was un-hoovered and badly stained. The bathroom was unclean and I did find odd the toilet roll holder being on the opposite wall which cant be reached when sat on the toilet! The shower was so unclean I did not want to get in it. The balcony is badly fitted and had a hole in the left corner and rubble. I convinced myself it had simply not been cleaned between guests and requested another room which I got (209) unfortunately this was no better and even had stains on the base sheet and the bottom of the shower base had holes and was in need of repair. No expresso machine as advertised for deluxe rooms. For £120+ I would expect to see a much better standard given I can pay that for a Premiere Inn and get Breakfast & evening meal for that. The only thing I did like was that it had double doors opening onto the balcony where I sat watching the planes coming in. Due to how unclean both the rooms were sadly I did not trust to order the food as my thoughts were if the bedrooms were so unclean what state was the kitchen, so I ordered takeaway. The dining room reminded me of a working mans club The lady getting me the second room was suitably apologetic. The lady getting my drink who checked me in made me feel uncomfortable when I asked to see what wines they had which meant she had to remove the cupboard door. If there was a wine list this would have been avoidable however given I was buying a bottle I would not have expected to be made to feel I was asking too much of her. 1 Needless to say I will not be returning nor recommending to anyone

Brillante Hotel ist immer so nett zu bleiben. Easy to get to and as I work in transport it's ideal for me to stay near my workplaces. The staff are great and always welcome. The hotel is always clean. Ich habe nie ein Problem gehabt, wenn ich hier geblieben bin.

Stayed here for one night before our flight £10 to park your car as a guest is simply shocking !! Check in was friendly but was told no evening meals available but could eat in other hotels if we contacted them to book a table , ( we are at the premier next door ) Upon returning to the hotel people were eating food !! 2 gin and tonics £26 is taking the mick ! Room is basic but comfy with all you need , Breakfast , prob one of the poorest breakfasts I think we’ve had , Had to wait for food to be put out as they had run out , by which time our other bits were cold so had to microwave ! Pretty poor experience

I was away on a business contract and stayed at the Charnwood Arms Hotel for 2 months. A comfortable bed with en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The staff are fantastic and are always willing to help and make my stay as great as possible. The Hungry Horse pub attached to the hotel is the same with the staff. One couldn't ask for better treatment. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will miss the team. I was sad to have to leave when my contract ended. Thank you ALL. x
