Courtyard Morgantown

Everyone was very nice. The hotel was clean. Check in was easy. The location was right off the highway and near many chain stores (Target, TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Bed, Bath, and Beyond), restaurants, and a grocery store. There was a free grab-and-go breakfast (muffins, oatmeal, yogurt, juice, coffee). I only had one problem. I am allergic to feather pillows. There were 6 pillows in our room, all were feather pillows. I called down to the front desk and asked for a different pillow. They said they would have to check to see if they had other pillows. Minutes later a very nice person from housekeeping was at my door giving me another pillow....which was also a feather pillow. We ended up having to buy new pillows for our stay.

The view over WVU campus from our room was spectacular and a surprise. We had just choosen the place for its convience to our route home. We loved the rooms decor too.

The bed was worn. The shower had a leak and there was a small amount of water on the floor surrounding shower. The shower floor was chipped.there we’re side mirrors on each side of be which was weird and they were chipped. They do not provide eye makeup remover or have dispensers for hand soap or lotion. They are behind the times for this price point and for claiming to be a three star hotel.

Everything was great. Greatly disappointed that a complimentary breakfast was NOT included. We paid $250 for one night stay and had to pay for a separate breakfast on our way home. For that price point breakfast must be included

Disappointed that there was no continental breakfast and the shower ******. Everything else was really good

Check in was super smooth and the room is very clean. These new showers without doors are weird to me. Feels like the poor hotel was sold a raw deal. Doesn’t mean the bathroom was clean-it was. I would come back for sure.

We were visiting Morgantown for a college visit at WVU. We had a five-year-old and a 17-year-old with us. The highlight of the hotel for our 5-year-old was the pool. The pool is small but otherwise it was superior to most other hotel pools. It was a saltwater pool and the water and the air in the pool area were warm. The highlight for our 17-year-old was the fire pit and the view. It's beautiful. I was confused about the restaurant because it never looked open. At this point I'm still not sure whether it was ever actually open. However, there are plenty of other restaurants in the area that we didn't really need to use it.

Location is great. Hotel is close to shopping and restaurants. Not a fan of the Bistro and the prices. For the cost of Hotel stay, you would think breakfast would be included.

This was a very pleasant stay for us. Great location - close to restaurants and shops but far enough removed from the city center to avoid the traffic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy & the room had everything we needed. We enjoyed bringing our dinner and a bottle of wine to the lobby area with great views overlooking Morgantown. Would stay here again!
