SureStay by Best Western Monroe

This is the worst hotel.....wi-fi was so slow to be unusable, electrical outlet in room did not work, breakfast was powdered eggs, watery gravy, and something that looked like potatoes, and we had rust in the bathtub!

Oh, my goodness! What the heck do they use to clean these rooms? For what we spent on air purifiers, we could have stayed at the Hampton next door! Do not ever stay here! My sinuses may never recover, not to mention the headache I have. Does management have no sense of smell? Do they ever actually enter a room?

This hotel surprised me this trip. I'm usually never disappointed. They must have been rushed with breakfast because they ran way short. The room was clean and fresh. The staff were very pleasant. They really could have reimbursed me some for the room because of the TV not working most of the night and I didn't actually get the room I reserved.

The hotel needs work on its exterior appearance. The rooms were about the standard one would expect in a 2-star hotel. The bathtub appears to have not been properly cleaned for years. Mrs. Sharp is very rude and lacks the ability to interact in a professional manner with the public. This was a last-minute trip; most Best Western hotels are nice; however, there is always an exception to the rule, and this hotel is the exception.

room was not ready for rent. shower was broken. TV is old. Manager and staff were cleaning the breakfast area during the breakfast. TV is old and needs to be replaced. outside lawn area not looking good.

Hotel very clean, Room was very very clean. Staff very nice! Nice breakfast area with tasty foot which was included in the Rate I paid for room. The rate was very reasonable for what you get. Would definitely stay there again!

This hotel hasn’t failed me yet. This is my go-to because I frequently come home to visit. It’s always very clean, the staff is always professional. And quickly address any issues if they arise. I highly recommend.

This hotel was a good value and had very friendly staff. Every employee I ran into was above and beyond in their friendliness and the check-in procedures were very pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located near the Pecanland Mall and nearby shopping centers but far enough away from the downtown area that noise and business isn't an issue. My only problem was that the housekeeping staff forgot to make up the bed one of the days I was there (but did replace toiletries and empty garbages), this is something I can easily look over but something to note if it's something you care about.

This was the dirtiest room I have ever been in. The room smelled of strong *********. The floor were sticky to the point your shoes stuck to the floors and made sounds as you lifted your shoe from the floor, as if maple syrup was on the floor. The toilet did not work at all. The fact that this room was deemed acceptable to rent to a customer is beyond me. Me and the family had been driving all day from Orlando, FL and reached this hotel late at night, we were all very ready to get some sleep. only to find out that the room was in such a dirty shape. We opted to just leave, didn't get our $82 back because now I had to deal with upset kids and wasn't worth me trying to find the night manager, so we just left, didn't sleep or touch the beds or touch anything else for that matter, except the toilet. If Best Western were to make a surprise visit to this hotel, they would immediately remove the Best Western Flag, it is that bad and is a massive liability to your brand.
