Wir waren Mitte Mai für eine Woche Gast im Pausania Inn. Das Hotel ist klein, ruhig gelegen und absolut sauber ! Es gibt hier keine Animation - was uns sehr gefallen hat. Ein Pool (inkl. angrenzenden Kinderbecken) bietet Abkühlung an heißen Tagen. Dieser ist von 10-19 Uhr geöffnet, wird täglich morgens gut gereinigt und bietet reichlich Sonnenliegen die auch im Schatten stehen können. Außerdem gibt es eine kleine Dusche am Pool. Unseren Mietwagen konnten wir bequem auf einem der beiden Hotelparkplätze abstellen. Die Mitarbeiter waren stets freundlich. An der Rezeption half man uns Zwecks Ausflugszielen gerne weiter. Das Restaurant ist preislich absolut fair gestaltet und das Essen war lecker. Leider konnte man uns nichts zu den angebotenen Weinen sagen, dabei wollten wir doch nur wissen welcher lieblich ist. Das Frühstück ist klein aber fein und bietet alles nötige. Schade war jedoch, dass es an einigen Tagen Brötchen gab und an anderen nicht, wir wissen nicht ob dies beabsichtigt war oder sie einfach um 9:00 Uhr schon vergriffen waren. Am letzten Tag flutete eine Reisegruppe das Buffet. Die Folge: es war restlos leer (kein Brot, keine Croissants...). Die Mitarbeiter waren wie immer super freundlich, aber sichtlich überfordert. Letztendlich haben wir 30 min. auf neues Brot warten müssen, an unserem Abreisetag eine doofe Situation. Gebucht hatten wir ein Doppelzimmer Comfort. Es war komplett neu eingerichtet, leider jedoch so klein, dass nur eine Person zwischen Bett und Kleiderschrank her gehen konnte um auf den Balkon zu gelangen. Das Badezimmer hingegen hat eine gute Größe und ist ebenfalls modern ausgestattet. Der Balkon ist mit Stühlen und einem Tisch bestückt. Das Hotel liegt c.a. 50 min. Autofahrt vom Flughafen Olbia und c.a. 4 min. Autofahrt bis zum Ort Tempio Pausania (Innenstadt) entfernt. Im Ort findet man die nächste Tankstelle, Restaurants, Supermärkte und Geschäfte und natürlich auch sehenswertes. Zum Strand muss man vom Hotel aus aber immer c.a. eine Stunde fahrt (im nördlichen Bereich) einplanen ! Dafür liegt es ideal um den Norden der Insel zu erkunden. Zur Hauptstadt Cagliari fährt man allerdings gute 2,5 - 3 Stunden, weshalb wir diese nicht besucht haben. Fazit: wer ein absolutes sauberes, eher kleines/ familiäres und vor allem ruhiges Hotel sucht ist hier richtig. Wir würden wieder kommen !

Wir haben 2 Nächte in diesem Hotel verbrachte für eine 4-Sterne erhalten Sie nicht wissen, wie! So viel zu beginnen wir am ersten Nachmittag in der Überzeugung, dass wir ein Tauchen in der Pool machen können, dass wir schmutzig gefunden! Wir kommen ins Zimmer und im Kühlschrank finden wir nicht einmal eine flasche freundliches Wasser, die immer auch in einem B&B vierter Reihenfolge befindet!! Die Zimmer sind vernachlässigt und die Toilettenentsorgung funktioniert nur !! Bis jetzt haben wir versucht, tolerant zu sein, aber wenn wir am Abend der Rückkehr von einem Mitarbeiter beschuldigt werden, weil wir ihr sagen, wir störten trotz weit von den Zimmern wir begannen uns ein wenig unbehaglich zu fühlen !! Aber das Höhepunkt dieser Unannehmlichkeit erreichten wir am nächsten Morgen, als dieselbe Mitarbeiterin wie Angelico nur den Namen hatte, und uns in der Nähe schrie einen vulgaren Satz, indem sie auf den Duft einer Freundin verwiesen und sogar auf die Öffnung Das Fenster! Nicht nur hat er später die Bartender beschuldigt, weil er sagte, er hätte nicht zu Kaffee für alle vielleicht überzeugt, dass wir sie nicht bezahlt haben !! Das ist eine unerfreuliche Erfahrung, deren positives Bemerkung nur die freundlichkeit der Mädchen auf der Rezeption und der Bar war! Auch der Direktor hat sich nicht professionell gezeigt, indem er sich zunächst den Dialog mit einer Gruppenkomponente verweigerte, die natürlich eine Erklärung forderte !! Firstly check in was quick and smooth where our bags were taken to our room for us. Danbar was very helpful and friendly. Andrea, one the bar staff went above and beyond to make conversation and suggest good places to see whilst in the area. We did find that our room was always nicely presented once housekeeping had been. Changing the towels and presenting the bed nicely. Otherwise the resort is clean and tidy, the bar staff are all friendly and helpful. Avoid the majority of the reception staff if you can. Do note that this hotel is expensive but provides very little. You cannot use tap water in this area but you are not provided with any water apart from two tiny bottles upon arrival. They charge €5 for one bottle of water at the bar. (Get the bus into town and walk to the despar or eurospin, you can buy 6 bottles for under €2 euros) a small beer is €7… don’t waste your money. The ‘private’ beach that is advertised is actually half a mile uphill from the resort. It’s not private the way you would think, it’s a public beach with sun loungers cornered off for mangias customers. Nobody checking this either so anyone can really use them. The signs ‘water sports’ in the resort just end up taking you to a horrible bit of water where there is a ton of plastic and not a very pretty part of such a beautiful place. We found that a small minority of the reception staff were actually welcoming and helpful where a large portion of them were rude and dismissive. Our shower had broken 5 days into our trip so we reported this straight away where we were told it would be fixed the next morning. It wasn’t. We then reported it the next day as still being broken, we had to speak to reception twice in the space of an hour because nothing had been done. A man then came into our room to see the shower and said he couldn’t fix it and would be back with some more information on what to do. He never returned and nothing was ever done so when checking out we said it was still broken and nothing was done and the lady at reception said there was nobody to fix it. Surely they would then be unable to check someone into this room due to the broken shower but refused to extend our checkout time past 11 o clock because they were so ‘busy’ We also spoke to the same two ladies at reception on our last day to ask if they had any information about our transfer. They did not ask our names or what room we were, simply just said “no” On the same visit we asked if we were able to extend our checkout because with the usual checkout being 10am we weren’t due to leave the hotel until 5pm as we had a later flight. They said no to extending it past 11am so we agreed on that. Our last morning we went for breakfast and retuned to our room at 10:05 where we were then locked out. Going back to reception where the same two ladies were working we said we were locked out “checkouts at 10” they said and we tried to say that we had agreed on 11 where she bluntly said “we’ll change y
