1. Most, if not all, rooms have their own private balconies. These face either the back of the hotel, ie. facing the same range of the Alps as Aiguille Du Midi and Montenvers (the cable cars can be seen from the balconies), or the front of the hotel, ie. facing the city centre and Brevent (another arm of the Alps?) . The block of tree trunk which serves as a stool is very heavy! 2. It is located adjacent to the Chamonix MB train station. It is 3-5 minute-walk away from the town centre, McDonald's being one of the first easily-recognised indications. 3. The hotel interiors are mainly oak (like Ikea type): doors, table, shelves, wall fixtures. Personally love it, esp. the designs being flat and square. This was much more practical and pleasant to the sight compared to 'new' 'urban' furnishings where pieces were oddly shaped and placed. Would certainly seek to stay there again if returning.

Dieses Hotel liegt sehr weit von Chamonix entfernt. Wir haben hier zwei Nächte während der Mont Blanc Marathon verblieben, da fast alle Hotels im Zentrum von Chamo vollständig reserviert wurden. Das Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage für wenige Wanderungen: Sie können zum Bossons-Gletscher und zum Merlet-Tierpark vom Hotel laufen. Beide Orte sind hinter einer guten Wanderung (2-5 Stunden). Das Frühstück war ok. Der Pool wurde wegen des Feuers geschlossen :( Vermeiden Sie Zimmer in Richtung Autobahn. Dies war eine gute Budget-Option während eines Spitzenmoments, aber nächstes Mal werde ich näher zu Chamonix bleiben.

Wir waren 3 Nächte im Le Morgane. Gut ist die Lage & die Aussicht von unserem Balkon war ebenfalls toll. Der Frühstück kostet 18€ und ist wirklich ein Witz. Das sollte man auf keinen Fall nutzen. Kleine Auswahl & teilweise schlechte Qualität. Der Preis ist absolut überzogen! Das Personal war teilweise nett und teilweise wirklich sehr unfreundlich. Der Eingangsbereich des Hotels sieht schön aus, alles andere wirkt eher etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Auch im Zimmer ist das absolut so. Da erwartet man bei dem Preis mehr!! Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer war ok, mehr jedoch auch nicht. Parkplatz unbedingt vorweg reservieren und selbst dann kann es zu Chaos kommen. Für uns eindeutig mehr Schein als Sein in diesem Hotel.

Couple + 2 enfants (13 et 11). Nous sommes arrivés par hasard dans cet hôtel (booké par TO) et avons découvert un lieu absolument parfait pour une famille. Accueil au top, sincère et chaleureux (comme dit ma fille: on dirait qu'elle nous fait visiter sa maison). Toujours prêts à aider (nous avons pu prendre une douche en fin de journée avant de reprendre la route alors que nous avions rendu la chambre). Lieu agréable, moderne, cosy, plein d'activités (ah, le bowling....) pour l'après rando ou l'après ski. On a adoré et on y retournera. Merci pour cette expérience qui nous rappelle que l'hôtellerie peut encore être pratiqué avec bonne humeur et sincérité.

Ein sehr tolles Hotel, ideal gelegen gleich am Anfang der Fussgängerpromenade mit Shops und Restaurants und in Gehdistanz zu den Bergbahnen. Wir konnte somit das Auto während dem ganzen Aufenthalt in der Hoteleigenen Garage lassen, was sehr angenehm war (kostet 20 EUR pro Nacht - unbedingt reservieren, da es nur 6 Plätze gibt). Unser Zimmer SUPERIOR SUMMIT hatte supertolle Sicht auf den Mont Blanc und eine hübsche Terrasse. Hier könnte einzig verbessert werden, dass es einen Sonnenschirm gäbe, so dass diese auch bei warmen Temperaturen genutzt werden kann sowie Storen für die Fenster, da die Sonne selbst im September das Zimmer unerträglich aufheizte (dank Klimaanlage kein Problem; aber wer will schon in den Bergen im Herbst eine Klimaanlage nutzen?) Unser Zimmer war sehr ruhig und die Schlafqualität im tollen neuen Bett sehr schön. Herzlichen Dank den Damen von der Rezeption für den freundlichen Empfang und die guten Tipps - man fühlt sich hier sehr willkommen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder das Pointe Isabelle für einen Aufenthalt wählen, auch weil das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt und das Hotel modern und renoviert ist. Monsieur Hugo L, je fais suite à votre réponse plus que lamentable sur notre commentaire, nous attendions votre réponse avec impatience et nous ne sommes pas déçu… Nous avons loué une chambre pour une nuit et nous avons mangé au restaurant le soir, nous avions vu les très bons avis sur Google et n’avons pas hésité. Arrivé à l’hôtel, l’accueil était moyen, on nous donne la clé et on nous indique même pas la direction pour trouver les chambres, en clair débrouillez vous…. Puis nous avons donc mangé le soir à l’auberge, quelle déception…. Le verre d’apéritif était rempli au 3/4 de glaçons, une honte … L’entrée très moyenne aussi, les st-Jacques étaient plutôt bonnes mais tout ce qui l’entourait était fade et sans saveurs…. Étonnant venant « d’un passionné de gastronomie » comme on peut le lire sur certains commentaires…. Le plat était très médiocre niveau goût et présentation, le filet de fera était trop cuit, bourré d’arêtes et fade, l’accompagnement était inexistant, nous sommes restés sur notre faim… encore une fois un passionné de gastronomie… Le dessert vous permettra de quitter la table en étant lever tellement il y a rien à manger, un goût inexistant et une texture plus que douteuse, la meilleure chose était un vulgaire biscuit sec… madame n’a même pas fini l’assiette… Pour finir nous avons pris une tisane à la camomille et à la verveine… je sais que l’eau est rare mais pour remplir une tasse complètement vu le prix, est ce du luxe..? Je vous joins la photo de cette fameuse tisane… une honte je n’ai jamais vu ça ailleurs ! Nous aurions dû prendre une photo de chaque plat mais nous avions un peu de respect pour l’équipe… Enfin, nous avons fait part de notre incompréhension au propriétaire de l’établissement sans mauvaise intention particulière bien au contraire, il nous a offert les apéritifs pour ensuite nous dire que c’était nous le problème et que c’était pas de notre goût… il faut assumer monsieur Hugo L. Nous partions pour ne pas spécialement mettre d’avis car l’équipe était très agréable dans l’ensemble en dehors du propriétaire. C’était sans compter sur ce même propriétaire qui a attendu qu’on règle pour se lâcher avec son comportement condescendant et pour nous rappeler que c’est nous le problème et pas lui. Monsieur Hugo L, vous êtes une honte pour tous les restaurateurs et pour votre équipe, vous n’êtes ni commerçant, ni bienveillant vis à vis de vos clients, vous n’acceptez pas la critique même constructive, pas professionnel et êtes à la rue complet par rapport à ce que devrait être un bon restaurateur. Rappelez vous que c’est les clients qui font votre CA…. Toute personne insatisfaite se fait limite agresser avec des propos pitoyable, très limite et pas professionnel du tout. N’hésitez pas à aller voir ailleurs ce que propose vos concurrents pour prendre exemple et vous améliorer… ou changer de métier, visiblement celui de restaurateur n’est pas fait pour vous. Das Hotel liegt direkt neben der Seilbahnstation, ein Zimmer kann zur Seilbahnstation gehen und das andere Zimmer kann den Schneeberg sehen. Wir wohnten zuerst am Schneeberg, aber es gibt Westsonne, das Hotel hat keine Klimaanlage und es ist nachmittags wie in einer Sauna. Also wechselten wir zur Super-Seilbahnstation, die sich viel besser anfühlt, aber im Sommer keine Klimaanlage noch heiß ist. In der Lobby im ersten Stock des Hotels gibt es unbegrenzt kostenloses Wasser und Kaffee sowie Kindergetränke und einige Süßigkeiten. Das ist immer noch recht gut und der Swimmingpool, der zum Hotel gehört, ist nicht schlecht, er ist ziemlich groß. Wir buchten ein Familienzimmer mit einem großen Bett und zwei kleinen Betten in Form von Etagenbetten. Die Decke war zu dick für den Sommer.

Poor experience- we were given a suite for several friends. Room was tired. Bathroom had a shower in the bath but no shower curtain so soaked the room. Tiny towels and the Toilet was a dungeon with no way to air it. 4 blokes using one Khazi in the morning! Oh joy! Breakfast was a joke as lots of things ran out, no cups, fruit salad, eggs, bacon etc etc and hotel attitude was that’s it! So unless first come tough luck! Bar ran out of certain drinks too!

First let me say the hotel is lovely, the suite was great. From the photos I did expect there to be a separation between the sofa bed and the main bed so it must depend which suite they give you. Ours only had just enough space to walk between the two. Most of the staff are friendly and try to be helpful (see below). Breakfast was great. You can order ”snacking” from the bar until 6pm but then the restaurant doesn't open until 7pm. We didn't use the restaurant but we did have snacking one evening. The food was good but the woman serving at the bar was terrible. Not very polite, not very helpful, almost rude. Really not what you expect in such a classy hotel. After the food was delivered (by other staff) we asked her for cutlery because it didn't come with any.....she didn't do anything. In the end I reached into the restaurant and took some off one of the tables. When my wife shortly after reached in again and took a napkin the woman from the bar complained. The location I would call average. You can walk into a busier area of town in 10 minutes or so. There's one restaurant opposite called Little Boxes which we went to a lot, it does great pizza, hamburgers, drinks, etc. After booking the room I asked the hotel for help from with transfers, equipment hire and ski school for children. Transfers - expensive at 260 Euros each way but they were good. There was a problem with the return transfer being set at the time the flight departed but fortunately I checked the day before and changed it. Equipment hire - Skiset - is in the hotel. They also look after the equipment when you're not using it (see below). Ski School - ESF - very good, the problems arose due to the hotel being some distance from Les Plenards which is where the lessons take place. You have to get there by 9am. It's 20+ minutes walk which you can't do in boots while carrying skis. The bus stop is just opposite the hotel but the woman on reception I asked told me when the bus goes but said it takes 15 minutes and you have to change. So since Skiset doesn't open until 8.30 that doesn't leave enough time. But you have to get there well before 8.30 because there will be a queue. So we ordered a taxi for 30 euros. Turns out the buses go at 8.24 and 8.44 and take 7-10 minutes direct. In the hotel there's a sign which says no ski boots in the lift. So to get the 8.24 you have to ignore that or clomb up the stairs in your boots and carrying skis and then down again in the morning. Or you can collect your skis at 8.30 and catch the 8.44 - If you can get on it. The buses are great in terms of where and when they go, the problem is there's no queue system so every time it's a battle to get on the bus. It's worse at the end of the day because everyone is tired and desperate to get back and the bus doesn't always stop in the same place so because there's no queue system it's pot luck whether you get on it.
