Ich buchte ein Doppelzimmer mit einem fünfjährigen Kind und die Rezeption wurde kostenlos zu einem großen Drei-Personen-Zimmer ausgebaut. Nur eine zusätzliche Bettgebühr von 25 Euro war inbegriffen, und das Frühstück des Kindes war inbegriffen. Dies ist nicht das teuerste Hotel, in das ich gegangen bin, sondern das ”edelste”. Unsere Gruppe von 16 war 4 Nächte in Millanderhof. Es war halb Board, wir hatten Frühstück und Abendessen im Hotel. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und ist sehr komfortabel. Die Zimmer waren von unterschiedlicher Größe und Ausstattung, aber die meisten waren geräumig und mit großen Balkonen. Betten waren komfortabel und Badezimmer waren sauber mit guter Warmwasserversorgung. Die Wahlen für das Frühstücksbuffet waren genügend mit frischem Obst serviert. Die angebotenen Abendessen waren besondere Erwähnung wert. Das Menü wechselte täglich und bestand aus 3 bis 4 Kurse, plus eine grüne Salatbar. Die Suppen und das Essen waren lecker. Das ist ein Familiengeschäft, der Service war ausgezeichnet. Der Besitzer Markus war immer da, er ist humorvoll, freundlich und sehr hilfreich, und war sehr willkommen, um Gäste zu fühlen wie zu Hause. Er tat es, und wir genossen unser Aufenthalt im Hotel gründlich. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen, wenn wir die Dolomiten in Zukunft besuchen.

Wir haben mit vielen Freunden und Verwandten unser Hochzeitswochenende im Post Gries verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, äusserst sauber, perfekt ausgestattet, hell, hatte sogar einen Balkon und ein sehr schönes modernes Bad. Perfektes Frühstück, sogar auf der schönen Terrasse zu genießen, mit allem was das Herz begehrt (einzig: überpünktlich wurde das Buffet abgeräumt ;-)) Wir haben auch abends mal im Hotelrestaurant gegessen, Essen war äusserst gut, grosse Portion und von den freundlichen MitarbeiterInnen sehr schnell serviert. Lage: perfekt etwas ausserhalb der Altstadt, alles fussläufig und die Gegend in Gries ist wunderbar - mit schönen Strassen, Cafes und fast ein eigenes Dorf in der Stadt Bozen. Es soll noch erwähnt sein: Das Zimmermädchen, Frau Irene, war äusserst freundlich, genau und hat stets das Zimmer perfekt gemacht. Danke an das ganze Team vom Post Gries, gerne kommen wir wieder!
