"Ein schöner Ort, um dem eintönigen Leben eine Abwechslung zu bieten. Das kühle Wetter ist ein Ort, an dem viel los ist. Trotz der Lage gibt es einige Mängel, die das Management prüfen sollte. Wir hatten eine Deluxe-Suite, die sehr geräumig war, aber es gibt einige Punkte, die ich erwähnen möchte: Es gab Blutflecken auf dem Bettlaken, die Toilettenspülung war laut, das Wasser lief die ganze Zeit, die Fensterschlösser waren nicht gut. Heutzutage ist eine Mikrowelle im Zimmer ganz normal, aber die fehlte. Meiner Meinung nach ist es gut, den alten Charme zu bewahren, aber man sollte den Renovierungsbedarf im Auge behalten.
Wie auch immer, uns hat der Aufenthalt dort gefallen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut, es gab eine große Auswahl an Speisen.
Das Resort bietet seinen Gästen einen kostenlosen Shuttle zum Japanischen Garten.
Die abendlichen Musikshows und der Zumba-Tanz haben Spaß gemacht, und wir hatten sogar das Glück, einen Löwentanz zu sehen."

"The stay was amazing! The personalised service and incredible staff made us feel welcome. The room and view were absolutely stunning—100% amazing. The breakfast was delicious, though at RM100+ per adult, it lacked variety especially for meat options. The meal service however was impeccable. The only minor downside was the security staff at the property entrance who came across quite unwelcoming, contrasting sharply with the otherwise warm hospitality.
We want to thank especially Mark for the amazing hospitality! He was friendly, warm and completed our stay. The Chateau is 100% highly recommended for short stay and we'll be back soon :)"

"We recently stayed at Magtree Genting hotel, in room 2004, tower 4, and had a mixed experience overall. The hotel is generally okay, but there are a few areas that need improvement.
Firstly, the bunk bed in our room seemed to be broken. When our children slept on it, the bed shook quite a bit, which was concerning. This issue needs to be addressed promptly, either by repairing or replacing the bunk bed to ensure the safety and comfort of future guests.
Secondly, the cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired. It was not cleaned thoroughly, and this was quite disappointing. A higher standard of cleanliness is expected, especially in the bathroom area.
As for the breakfast, it was just so-so. The selection was quite limited, with options such as fried noodles, fried rice, Nasi lemak, soup noodles, small sausages, fried eggs, roti canai, curry chicken and bread. However, there was no milk, cereal, or cake for the children. Additionally, we found that the creamer seemed to have been bitten by either a cockroach or a mouse, which was quite unappetizing. We have photos to support this observation.
Overall, while the hotel is generally okay, there are significant areas that need improvement, particularly with the bunk bed, bathroom cleanliness, and breakfast quality. We hope these issues will be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience."

It’s very cheap — only around RM100 per night including tax! Really affordable and super worth it! The room is also spacious. Parking can be waived for free!
Cons:
It’s about a 20-minute drive up to Genting First World (about 10 minutes drive down from Genting to the hotel). The location is a bit far and secluded. The reception, parking, and hotel entrance are quite far apart. Every time you go out, you need to get the parking waived, change elevators, and walk quite a bit. After getting our room card and parking ticket, we had to go to the 7th floor, exit the lift, and switch to another elevator just to get to the one that leads to the rooms. We noticed it wasn’t just us — everyone seemed lost and confused. The directions and signage were really unclear. Every time we went out, someone was asking for directions."

"The checkin and checkout process was well structured and fast. The 2 bedroom apartment that I stayed was clean and comfortable. Owner/management had all cooking utensils and hotpot ready for steamboat.
I was on the 23rd floor hence view was superb. I will come back again as it is the best alternative location other than genting accomodations itself during peak season as you can avoid the jam and hustle staying in mid mountain location."

"Got a free upgrade and stayed at Ion Majestic, love and wanted to try the heated pool but it was under maintenance so we wouldn't be able to try.
I was a regular at Ion Delemens before I tried to book with Trip.com, so definitely will prefer and choose to stay at Ion Majestic as it has easier access than Ion Delemens.
Killer view but I guess as not a morning person, I wouldn't prefer the bright curtains in the morning😅

"From start to finish, my stay at Resort World Genting- Crockfords was nothing short of outstanding. This is one of those rare hotels where every detail is thoughtfully curated to deliver a world-class experience.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with warm hospitality and efficient check-in. The lobby itself was stunning — elegant, modern, and inviting. The service throughout my stay was impeccable — the staff were professional, attentive, and always one step ahead of my needs without being intrusive.
My room was spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculately clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens luxurious, and the in-room amenities top-tier — from the high-end toiletries to the smart lighting and entertainment system. I also had a breathtaking view that made every morning and evening extra special.
Resort World Genting- Crockfords speaks of thoughtful planning and genuine care. The round-the-clock service ensured I was comfortable no matter the time of day. It’s a hotel that not only meets expectations but exceeds them — especially when it comes to looking after guests late into the night.
The only slight issue was the car park validation as we were checking out. The mgt took more than 40 minutes to validate the free parking. As we waited, I thought the staff could offer some drinks but they did not. Overall, still a very good experience staying at Crockfords."

GGastnutzerChempaka 7 bathroom water pressure is high, water super hot. The only setback is the mirror fixed at a corner behind shower screen which is difficult to use.
There are no aircon the room. During our stay the weather is hot even in the evening. Inside the room is unconfort able even with ceiling fan switch on.

GGastnutzerI think the cleanliness can be better improved especially for families with kids. The gaps between the sofa has some trash and then bathtub has some issues with water splashing off the tub and causing the floor to be wet all the time after shower. However their service is quite prompt. Toilet bowls are delivered at our door the next day. View is fantastic and the size of beds are good. We had a nice stay overall.
