Incomplete Check-In & Luggage Handling: I reached the hotel lobby around 11:00 AM to check in and provided my NRIC and phone number to the receptionist for verification. Because the room was not ready yet, I told her it was fine, left my baggage with her, and requested her help to bring it up to the room once it was ready. I then rushed to catch the shuttle bus to the theme park.
Delayed Evening Check-In & Unsecured Baggage: When I arrived back at the lobby around 10:00 PM expecting to simply collect my room keys, a different receptionist took more than 15 minutes to process my check-in all over again. During this time, he also faced a printer failure while trying to print my breakfast vouchers for the next day. Furthermore, I noticed my baggage was still left out in the open area of the lobby.
Lack of Urgency at Front Desk: While waiting for my late check-in, the phone at the front counter rang continuously for more than 10 seconds. Only one staff member finally answered it, while three other staff members just stood there daydreaming. As a waiting guest, I personally felt quite irritated watching the front desk phone ring for so long without being answered.
Poor Staff Attitude: When I asked what time breakfast was served, the staff member replied, ”It's standard lah... 7:30 AM till 10:30 AM,” as if I were a barbarian who had never stayed in a hotel before asking a dumb question. Their attitude felt like I don't care.
Disregarded Guest Request: Because I was too exhausted to continue waiting for the breakfast voucher to print, I requested that the staff deliver it to my room later by simply slipping it under the door. However, when staff member came to deliver it, he still pressed the doorbell, unnecessarily disturbing my rest.
Confusing Service Design & Layout: The hotel room lifts are quite complicated to reach from the lobby. The receptionist merely pointed and told me to ”go straight and turn right.” Carrying my own baggage, I went straight, turned right, had to make a U-turn, and kept asking around before finally finding the room lift. It felt like a treasure hunt, banging around here and there until I finally reached it. I am not sure if your service design is intentionally meant to handle customers this way.
Room Cleanliness Issues: The room itself was quite dusty. I could clearly see hair and dirt on the bedsheets. There was also some black substance inside the fridge, to the point where I did not dare put any of my drinks inside.
Overall, the hotel is quite nice physically considering the age of the hotel. It just really needs to improve its service culture, staff training, and cleanliness standards.

The hotel has a modern and stylish design, with a relaxing atmosphere that feels slightly away from the busy Genting crowd, which I appreciated. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, suitable for a short getaway. The bed was cozy and the environment was quiet, allowing for a good night’s rest. Basic amenities were well provided, and the overall cleanliness met expectations.
One of the highlights was the facilities — especially the swimming pool area, which was well maintained and great for relaxing. The surrounding environment also gives a peaceful resort-like vibe compared to staying directly at the main Genting area.
Location-wise, it is slightly away from Genting SkyWorlds and SkyAvenue, so having your own transport or using ride-hailing services makes getting around much easier.
Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, ideal for a short leisure escape or weekend retreat. I would consider returning again for a relaxing stay away from the crowds.

GGastnutzerThe location is great! Walking distance from eating place and convenient stores. The rooms are clean and the apartment is okay.
The rooftop swimming is great with nice view of Genting highlands.
The only one thing we don't like is theres only 1 mirror which is inside the toilet. This is a downside for us since we are family, need to take turns to use the mirror.
Need to use grab everytime because transport service timing is very limited and need to pay RM10. Grab is cheaper if you are family or group.
Overall this hotel is great! Highly recommended!

MMumjeeWe have a sixer room. We love the room deco and design. The room is spacious. The toilet and bath room setting is just nice and bring convenience. Our room facing arena star. We can listen concert from the room.But not lucky. Our room is at second floor facing the road. The traffic was very noise until 3:30am. I can’t sleep until 3:30am.

VVivienleeys96I stayed here recently and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is quite convenient—about 7 minutes from Awana Resort and around 20 minutes to SkyAvenue. There are also plenty of shops nearby where you can dine or pick up daily essentials, which made things very convenient.
The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the lifts were fast, so getting to the unit was easy. The unit itself is very spacious, especially for a couple, which made the stay comfortable.
That said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. It would be great if the unit provided a kettle or a water filter for added convenience. Also, the water heater took quite a long time to warm up, and the water pressure in the shower was rather weak.
Overall, aside from these minor issues, everything else was very good and I would say it’s definitely worth the price.

Wäre dieses Hotel ein Auto, wäre es ein protziges italienisches Modell mit gravierenden Mängeln in der Verarbeitungsqualität.
Das Beste an diesem Hotel ist der Preis. 200 RM für ein Kingsize-Bett an einem Feiertag fühlten sich wie ein Schnäppchen an. Die Anfahrt von der SkyAvenue war dunkel, aber der hell erleuchtete Parkplatz weckte große Hoffnungen.
Der Check-in am Selbstbedienungskiosk verlief reibungslos, allerdings war die Zimmersuche aufgrund der seltsamen fünfstelligen Nummerierung etwas verwirrend. Zum Glück führte uns der Concierge.
Erster Eindruck vom Zimmer: Es entsprach den Werbefotos. Doch unsere Begeisterung verging schnell. Die Tür ließ sich nicht richtig verschließen und piepte ständig. Ein Techniker kam, hämmerte auf das Türschloss und reparierte es – nicht gerade beruhigend für die Sicherheit.
Als Nächstes ging es ans Badezimmer. Viele Bewertungen erwähnten einen unangenehmen Baugeruch, und sie hatten Recht. Die Dusche lief schlecht ab, sodass ein starker Betongeruch entstand, wenn sich Wasser ansammelte.
Die Küche sah mit ihren vielen Schränken beeindruckend aus, hatte aber überraschenderweise keine Steckdosen in der Nähe der Arbeitsfläche. Ich musste stattdessen Wasser am Schreibtisch kochen.
Der Fernseher war eine weitere Enttäuschung. Angeblich „smart“, bot er weder Internet noch Sender. Ich habe alles versucht – Zurücksetzen, Aus- und Wiedereinschalten –, aber es gab überhaupt kein WLAN. So viel zum Netflix-Abend.
Was das Design angeht, wirkte das Zimmer auf den ersten Blick elegant, doch überall zeigten sich Mängel: Farbspritzer im Badezimmer, laute Metallregale und Fliesenböden, auf denen jeder Fußabdruck zu hören war.
Am nächsten Morgen war der Sonnenaufgang über Genting Highlands atemberaubend – wohl das Highlight unseres Aufenthalts.
Als wir das Hotel erkundeten, stellten wir fest, dass die meisten Geschäfte, darunter das Hard Rock Café und die Dachterrasse, geschlossen waren und keine Öffnungszeiten angegeben waren. Einrichtungen wie das Fitnessstudio, der Innenpool und der Kinderbereich waren geöffnet, aber wegen des Feiertags überfüllt. Wir haben auf das Frühstück verzichtet, da es nicht im Preis inbegriffen war.
Das Auschecken verlief schnell und reibungslos.
Rückblickend liegt das eigentliche Problem nicht beim Management, sondern in der schlechten Bauqualität, die sich nicht in typischen Bewertungskategorien wie Sauberkeit, Service oder Lage widerspiegelt. Das Hotel sieht oberflächlich betrachtet gut aus, aber bei der Entwicklung wurde eindeutig gespart.
Ich wollte dieses Hotel wirklich lieben – das Konzept, die Lage und der Preis sind großartig. Aber wenn das Management diese Qualitätsmängel nicht behebt, sind die hohen Bewertungen irreführend.

SSHEREEN KHAIRUNISADer Ort selbst ist schön, und die Einheit ist sehr geräumig sicherlich für eine große Familie geeignet. Wir genossen den Aufenthalt insgesamt, weil das Haus bequem war und hatte genug Platz für alle.
Aber der Eincheckprozess war zuerst etwas verwirrend. Wir gingen zunächst zu einem anderen Empfangsmann, weil wir es für die richtige dachte, aber sie scheinen aus einem anderen Unternehmen zu kommen. Wir waren sehr überrascht, dass wir den Schlüssel aus dem MyNews Store, wo jemand wartete, sammeln mussten. Ehrlich gesagt, es fühlte sich zuerst etwas verdächtig, weil ich 3 Tage vor unserem Aufenthalt einige Fragen zu stellen hatte, aber die gegebene Kontaktnummer konnte überhaupt nicht erreicht werden, und niemand antwortete.
Als wir während des Regens angekommen und an den falschen Ort gingen, um den Schlüssel zu sammeln, halten wir anrufen und versuchen, jemanden zu finden, aber konnten nicht durch. Glücklich, wir endlich herausgefunden. Die Einheit hatte auch eine Waschmaschine, aber leider war sie nicht anwendbar. Wir hatten auch einige Schwierigkeiten, die Einheit zuerst einzuführen, weil die Schlüsselkarte nicht richtig erkannt hat.
Meine Empfehlung wäre, eine aktive Kontaktnummer zu liefern, die Gäste leicht zu erreichen und klarere Anweisungen darüber, wo und wie der Schlüssel zu sammeln, vor allem wenn Anrufe schwierig zu beantworten sind. Das würde die Gesamterfahrung viel reibungsloser machen.

Ssxfea __Dies ist meine zweite Buchung in diesem Hotel. Meine erste Erfahrung war besser 🤣 Die neue Aufteilung des Hotels ist zunächst ziemlich verwirrend. Der Service war mittelmäßig. Die Lage war auf dem Gipfel der Genting Highlands. Ich wünschte jedoch, der Transport-/Shuttleservice könnte verbessert werden. Bei meinem ersten Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel bin ich mit dem Auto angereist. Daher habe ich keine Probleme mit dem Transport. Bei meinem zweiten Besuch habe ich beschlossen, den Shuttleservice des Hotels zu nutzen. Insgesamt würde ich dieses Hotel für seine Lage und Sauberkeit mit 4/5 bewerten.

GGastnutzerFeeling worst experience on this trip, since had wasted lots of times on confirming which room I would stay, like last time actually I had self-checked in by using the machine by myself, but I can't reach the room number as the machine provided which mentioned the room is situated at Tower 3, Level B1, but unreachable, the lif got issue, can't reach the level of the room whatever I had press B1 already...Had tried lots of times, then no idea, I tried to ask the person in charge at the reception, then she provided me a new room, however, still wrong tower(Tower 3, Level 28), but it mention Level 28 on the receipt, then I guess by myself may be the room is at Tower 2, luckily, that's it...It had spent lots of time for finding and check in the hotel, had large affected my trip plan...Anyway, also suggested here, please mention clearly on the hotel booking webpage or app like if standard room is at Tower 1 and the Y5 triple room is at Tower 2 and 3. Actually, last time I would like to book adjacent room which are two different types of room, but just acknowledged by the workers, both of the room at different tower. Before I booked, I have tried to ask is it can provide adjacent room for me since family trip, would like to stay together via Trip.com but getting the response from email told me First World Hotel will try their best to meet the requirements...actually, that time you should let me know there is different tower due to different types of room right? And I might change same types of room so that become convenient to all of us.
