Ein absolut perfektes Hotel. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar, ein Markt und zahlreiche exzellente Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich, und in der Lounge werden leckeres Gebäck und Kaffee angeboten. Kostenlose Waschmöglichkeiten inklusive Waschmittel stehen zur Verfügung, und Gepäckaufbewahrung ist ebenfalls möglich. Vor allem aber sind die Zimmer sehr komfortabel, makellos sauber und modernst ausgestattet. Der Blick auf Edinburgh Castle ist fantastisch. Beim nächsten Edinburgh-Besuch würde ich ohne Zögern wieder hier buchen.

Ich war kürzlich in diesem Hotel und war mit den Dienstleistungen und seiner bequemen Lage in der Nähe der Waverley Bahnhof zufrieden. Das Personal war freundlich und reaktiv, immer bereit, mit allen Anfragen zu helfen. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel. Es war auch gemütlich und gut gepflegt, und die Hauspflege hat während meines Aufenthalts eine gute Arbeit geleistet. Das Hotel bietet einen guten Preis für Geld. Ich empfehle es jedem, der einen komfortablen Aufenthalt in einer großen Lage in der Nähe von Transportverbindungen sucht.

Ich habe nie in einem Apartment-Stil Hotels geblieben. Dieses Hotel hat mich verändert. Wir waren 3 . Der Raum war genug für 4 oder sogar 5. Sehr sauber. Sie denken an alles, auch die Flasche Milch im Kühlschrank 😊, Personal waren sehr angenehm und freundlich. Lage war erstaunlich 👍🏼.Ich komme zurück nach Edinburgh und dieses Hotel ist der Ort, wo man sein muss. Danke für alles

Everything was overall very good. The location was exceptional. The rooms were so handy and practical, there was a quite functional and almost fully equipped kitchen and there was even a washing machine. I was planning to have breakfast outside - in a coffee shop or bakery, but i changed my plans to have my breakfast in the room sine the room was like studio and had given me a cosy feeling in the middle of the city center. The only downfall was that instead of keycards, they gave me a pincode (like numeric password) to open the doors and the codes were hand written by receptions and handed to customers just like that. This seemed to me not very safe while it may sound somehow practical to some other people in other ways. Maybe i need to get used to it if this method is going to be applied everywhere in the future, who knows.

This was a wonderful place for my dear wife Ping and I to stay at during our visit to Edinburgh! The apartment was very spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Our host provided clear instructions making it easy to get in the apartment. We found it a relaxing retreat after touring Edinburgh for the day. There is a bus stop a short walking distance from the apartment providing easy transportation to the city center with its many attractions. There is also a large supermarket about a 15-minute walk where we were able to purchase groceries and other items. I highly recommend staying here and would certainly choose it again if and when we return to Edinburgh.

I stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh from 22 February to 26 February 2026 in Room ***. Unfortunately, my experience fell significantly below the service and housekeeping standards expected of the Marriott brand. 1) 22 February 2026 (Check-in) Upon arrival, I immediately noticed several cleanliness issues with my room. The kettle was dusty and visibly dirty, the shower gel was completely empty, there were noticeable stains on the bed sheets, the shower room floor was unclean, and the shower water pressure was extremely poor. I reported these issues to the front desk on the same day. In addition, during the check-in process, the staff did not provide any information about hotel amenities, such as gym operating hours, availability of facilities like the ice machine or microwave, or other services. I only became aware of some of these facilities on my last day during check-out, which was disappointing. 2) 23 February 2026 The shampoo had run out and was not replenished during housekeeping services. I emailed the Front Office Manager regarding both the missing amenities and the ongoing low shower pressure issue. I did not receive any response. 3) 24 February 2026 The situation continued. Coffee and tea bags were not refilled, the stained bed sheets had still not been changed since Day 1 check-in, and both shampoo and conditioner were empty. I called the same Front Office Manager twice, and only shampoo was delivered. I then contacted the front desk twice more to clearly request conditioner, yet incorrect items were delivered again. As a result, the conditioner remained unreplenished for me for 3 consecutive days (22–24 February). 4) 25 February 2026 In the morning, I requested a new toothbrush through the front desk and was told housekeeping would provide one during housekeeping service. When I returned to my room after housekeeping, no toothbrush had been supplied. I later learned that when Trip.com contacted the hotel on my behalf regarding the service lapses, the Operations Manager informed them that everything had been “addressed and settled with me” which was not accurate. While individual staff members made partial attempts to assist, the repeated housekeeping lapses, lack of follow-up, and unresolved maintenance issue reflect systemic operational shortcomings rather than isolated mistakes. Throughout my entire stay (22–26 February), the shower water pressure issue remained unresolved. The hotel’s location is excellent and within walking distance of many major attractions, which helps save on public transport costs. However, good location alone does not compensate for the overall service deficiencies experienced during this stay. As a paying guest, I expected basic cleanliness, consistent replenishment of amenities, and responsive service, especially from a reputable hotel property like Marriott. Unfortunately, those expectations were not met during this stay.

Der Service war großartig, sobald Sie den Laden betraten! Während des chinesischen Neujahrs gab ich auch kleine Geschenke und Karten, aber die Grüße auf den Karten waren nicht auf Chinesisch! Das Zimmer, das ich gebucht hatte, war relativ klein, aber es war genug für mich. Die Heizung war nicht genug und nicht schlecht. Die Heizung des Raumes und der Abluftventilator der Toilette sind laut! Für einige Freunde ist die Badewanne in diesem Hotel notwendig und ziemlich groß. Toilettenartikel kommen aus dem Sudan. Das Frühstück ist nicht zu viel, aber sehr lecker! Die umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen Sie in etwa 17 bis 20 Minuten, Calton Hill in etwa 29 Minuten und den Bahnhof Waverley in Edinburgh in 21 Minuten.

Verpassen Sie nicht die Gelegenheit, ein neues Kettenhotel in der Alten Welt zu entdecken! Der Service war exzellent; es wurde an alles gedacht. Sogar ein Geschenk zum Geburtstag meines Kindes wurde organisiert. Die Lage ist ideal, weniger als sechs Gehminuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt, sodass man bequem alles zu Fuß erreichen kann.

Nur etwa 10 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Edinburgh entfernt und in unmittelbarer Nähe von großen Einkaufszentren und Supermärkten gelegen, ist die Unterkunft sehr günstig. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und komplett ausgestattet, inklusive diverser Kochutensilien und einer Waschmaschine. Am Wochenende sind die Preise jedoch höher. Eine kostenlose Stornierung ist möglich, daher empfiehlt sich eine frühzeitige Buchung.

One of the absolute best hostel in Edinburgh! Incredible facilities, super clean rooms, and the most helpful staff. It’s located in the best neighborhood, just a short stroll from The Meadows. If you visit during cherry blossom season, the views are magical as the park is covered in pink petals. LOVE IT SO MUCH. Will definitely return!
