Excellent location in city center and very close to ANU, where I am going to visit. Also, just next door to the Bus Station, where I am going to travel. Price/performance is excellent. Environment and cleaning is also excellent. Strongly recommend.

I'm 6'3” and in all honesty the room I stayed in wasn't that Little. There is a library where I was able to walk around, stretch my legs a bit and I am sure there were other facilities I didn't have time to utilize. The staff was amazing, friendly and made me feel comfortable without being cringeworthy. The price was reasonable and the location was just perfect.

From the moment we entered the lift to this hotel, we knew it was something else. The scent of the crisp, bright lobby was warm and inviting. We where greeted with the bubbliest staff, who were ready to accommodate our every need. From check in support, recommendations on eateries and general info on the area, they had every area covered. The rooms where stunning, warm, fresh and comfy. So many small smart elements that topped it off! The best nights sleep, in a dark and noise free room! This stunning hotel made us want to stay in all night and not fulfill our prior commitments. We can’t wait to be back here.

Saw the reviews and was not expecting much. I have been surprised to be honest. The reception was helpful, check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean, well equipped and the bed, lovely and soft and we had the best nights sleep. The only gripe was the communal area toilets were grubby but that’s down to dirty people. You get what you pay for and we were comfortable and can only speak of our experience.

Overpriced, inefficient and dissatisfying would be the three words I'd use to sum up my recent two-night stay at QT Canberra. While the room price was affordable enough, the food and drinks are incredibly expensive. At the bar, a glass of wine starts at a minimum of $16 for a standard size and goes up to $44 for a large (that's a glass, mind you - there's probably some good bottles that could be had for the same price, and QT's 'large' glass of wine is more like a 'medium'). At the restaurant, they’re charging around $40 for pasta, $50-$70 for steaks, $42-$48 for other mains and $18-$22 for desserts, with the wines on the wine list even more expensive than the aforementioned figures at the bar. I guess they figure they have a captive audience in the hotel, so can charge any price they like? My first night there they couldn’t do room charges at the bar due to a ”technology outage” (apparently writing on a bit of paper who ordered what and their room number and then charging it after the fact was too difficult a concept to grasp) and they didn’t even bother asking if I wanted room charges on the second night, instead just having charges paid by card as if a normal bar. I did get a discount when I showed my membership, but they were never proactive in asking and I would've certainly been paying full price had I not been diligent in showing it to them. As part of my booking, I received a $40 food and beverage voucher to be used each day, yet both at the bar and at breakfast the staff seemed perplexed by the voucher. I was told to ask the front desk about it and had to get the respective manager in each section to take over both times - why are you offering vouchers to customers if your staff don't even know what they are or how to properly handle them? Continuing the voucher madness, there's a sign you can hang on your door which promises you ”a $10 food-and-beverage voucher each night you say 'no thanks' to housekeeping”. The fine print says that ”if you wish to participate, please hang this on your door before 1:00am”. Well, I did this, and expected to get another $20 worth of vouchers when checking out, but when I asked about this (once again, I'm the one who had to be proactive about asking - spot a theme here?), I was only given one voucher despite having the sign out for both nights I stayed there. I was told because “housekeeping hasn’t been today [the day I checked out] I only get one voucher” - what a nonsensical excuse. If I hang the sign on the door on Friday night and Saturday night and check out Sunday morning, how DOESN'T that entitle me to two vouchers? Oh well, it's probably a moot point anyway - the lone voucher I did receive had an expiry date of the same day (why would I want an extra $10 to spend on the same day I'm checking out? Logic would dictate it would make much more sense to be valid for a month at any QT location in Australia or something similar). There was a long wait for breakfast, involving queuing up for 5 minut

We had a great days in CROWNE PLAZA in Canberra. The room was clean and tidy.The staff was friendly. Especially at breakfast in the morning,One of the staff, ARYAMAN,happy a kind and friendly staff,Especially his happy smile,Made us for a lot of happy mornings. Stayed 3 nights in a standard queen room. The room was nice, although a bit dark as I was on the ground floor with a small window facing the hotels covered entrance. The bed was very soft, maybe too soft for some. The bathroom with walk in shower was compact but functional. The hotel is close the main attractions, with free secure onsite parking. Kingston shops are close by with many nice cafes and supermarket. It has a fully mini bar in the room but I found the prices too high, $9 for a bottle of beer, so I Didnt use it. I got a great rate for my stay.

My reception by Naveen and Dorg was cheerful and helpful; they provided clear and good info regarding the hotel, parking, breakfast and meals in the adjoining Labour Club, etc. Our room on the top 9th floor had a good view towards the Lake Ginninderra, although another high rise had partially blocked the view. Our room was an end room, a more spacious upgrade offered to us by Naveen. It was very clean- every nook and cranny- compliments to housekeeping. It was also nice and bright, as was the bathroom. Decor is very modern and up to date. Bed was comfortable and we had good sleeps. The hot breakfast in the Club was of good quality and variety and good value. Parking on level3 and level4 of the carpark was easily accessible.

It was the stagnant, stale air and the unmistakable smell of a very old hotel room, which once-upon-a-time was inhabited by smoking guests. I tried without success to open a window - I was desperate for some fresh air! On night two of our stay, after returning from a full day out exploring Canberra, I was astonished to see that housekeeping had replaced our towels, but not bothered to make the bed, empty the rubbish bin or vacuum the floor! This property is described as 4-star on the Best Western website, I have no idea how they are able to claim this rating! The breakfast selection can only be described as bare minimum, but the most disturbing thing about the breakfast “buffet” was how messy the entire area was! We found crumbs and pieces of rubbish scattered on each of the tables holding the food. Needless to say, we took a hard pass on the breakfast! The only positive I have to offer about our experience at this hotel is that the water pressure in the shower was very good.

This place is great. It's clean. The rooms are massive. Nice staff, no fuss or BS. Really cool area, woolies and restaurants downstairs. Surprisingly cheaper for such a nice place. About as nice as Midnight in Braddon, but cheaper. Great value. Will stay again. Thanks

Das Zimmer ist sehr gut, sauber und komfortabel. Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, es ist bequem zu kaufen, sehr nahe dem Einkaufszentrum, es gibt viele Restaurants und viele Supermärkte. Besonders vom Hotel aus zum Griffin-See ist es nicht weit zu Fuß, Sie können freundlich zu Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang gehen.

Die Unterkunft zeigte Zeichen von Verdauung und Tränen. Rubbish wurde nicht leer. Reparaturen wurden nicht im Zimmer durchgeführt. Versorgte Badezimmer-Plug fixierte nicht Tauch- oder Badewanne. Die Haarkonditionierflasche war leer, so dass nicht geprüft. Bettlampe funktionierte nicht. Das klimatisierte Zimmer war in unserem Zimmer unterstandardmäßig. Auf einer positiven Note war das Bett bequem

Die Lage in einem schönen Gartenbereich war perfekt und der Parkplatz vor dem Hotel war einfach und komfortabel. Sehr ruhig in der Nacht. Das Zimmer (Oberster König) war groß, gut ausgelegt und hatte viele Fenster. Das Bett war extrem komfortabel. Nur negativ war, dass eine Königin Größe Doona auf dem Königsbett war, was es etwas auf der kleinen Seite hinterließ. Das Bett und die Kissen waren alle ausgezeichnet von guter Qualität. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich, obwohl wir, als wir die Doona um eine größere ersetzten, uns nach der Rückkehr zum Hotel erzählten, dass es getan wurde. Es war nicht. Der Hauptabstand dieses gut gepflegten und attraktiven Hotels ist, dass es keine Nahrungsmittel oder Bar-Einrichtungen gibt, obwohl sie Verbindungen zu nahe gelegenen Cafés und anderen Speisen bieten. Um 10 bis 15 Minuten zu Fuß fühlen Sie sich zum Hauptrestaurantgebiet Manuka.

Das Hotel ist ein hervorragendes Hotel mit wenigen kleinen Glitchs. Als ich durch das Hotel gebucht wurde, war ich überzeugt, ein höheres Zimmer zu nehmen und mir gesagt wurde, ich würde einen Blick auf das Land und Frühstück inbegriffen. Ich habe eine Verpflegung über die Straße und das Schwesterhotel, mit der lauten Müllsammlung sehr früh am Morgen und Blätter blasen am nächsten. Das Frühstück war ein Morgen fantastisch (Ich ging sogar und beglückwünschte den Koch), aber das nächste Frühstück war abscheulich, ich denke, sie liefen aus dem Gemüt und servierten den alten Tank Loaf. Die Zimmer wurden schön renoviert mit allen modernen Komfort. Aber man konnte die Fenster nicht öffnen, da die Fensterwinde zerbrochen waren, auch das Bad-Sock hatte große Kräfte in ihm (die Rezeption wusste davon) und die Dräne in ihm war extrem langsam, ich denke, es war bereit, zu blockieren. Sie können fragen, warum ich nicht gebeten habe, Zimmer zu wechseln? Nach einer langen Fahrt und dem Aufladen vieler Gepäck, das war das letzte, was ich mir gedacht habe zu tun. Aber ich würde sicherlich noch einmal dort bleiben, wenn ich nach Canberra gehe.

Die geografische Lage ist zwischen dem neuen und alten Kongress, die Umgebung ist sehr komfortabel, der Service ist sehr gut, die Umgebung ist sehr komfortabel, 4-Sterne-Standard, die Liste ist nicht zu lange, es ist ein paar Mal in Canberra, das Haus sollte mir am meisten zufrieden sein, das nächste Mal ist es meine erste Wahl. Kanberra muss ein Auto vermieten, sonst ist jeder Kartenpunkt etwas weit entfernt,

Hat eine schöne Nacht Unterkunft bei der Rex & ein guter Nacht Schlaf. Front Desk Mitarbeiter waren effizient und freundlich. Parkplatz war eng, aber ok. Foyer war willkommen & einfache Richtungen, um unser Zimmer zu finden. Rummes Schlafzimmer & viele Zimmer zu bewegen, so war gut alle rund. Würde die Canberra Rex empfehlen!!

Amenities and facilities are excellent! My friend and I enjoyed our stay. It's just that when we reconfirmed our booking by calling the hotel, the GY agent sounded sleepy or had no energy at all. The one who assisted us during check-in was also serious, but the other lady at the other check-in counter was entirely smiling.

It feels like you step back in time… Way back If you pulled up in your horse and cart, you would be right at home. Because that’s when the last time someone did maintenance on the old place. The rooms smell like Grandma’s house. When it’s been locked up for 3 years The 15 dollar parking fee is a joke. Seriously who does that. The shower feels like someone is tipping a bucket of water in a camping shower bag. ( super hot running out to freezing cold, then repeat) I think Fred Flintstone has a job here. He’s responsible for buying the pillows as they are as hard as rocks. And the mattress is made of straw ( Well feels like it) Honestly, if you are into old Crap, this place is for you. If you want comfort, then I would suggest going anywhere else

it was just easy and close to all of our sights we were there for.the light rail is at your door and plenty of eateries and bars within walking distance
