the front desks were very friendly and helpful. As a female solo traveller I felt very safe and secured throughout my stay. as I arrived before the check in time, I wanted to leave my luggage at the hotel and proceed with sightseeing and was offered if I would like to partake on an 'excursion' to help the students who will be future tourists guides experience and how they may improve. there were no extra costs incurred and we only need to pay for the entrance fee to the tourist attraction. it was a great experience for me as they were all very accommodating and cheerful. 

Stayed 1 night . location is very good and near registan complex. it was off season january and hotel was undergoing some re decorations . wifi was off and kitchen closed due to off season but owner was very friendly and honest about it and upgraded room. Had a very good sleep and only off thing was water kettle broken. simple breakfast , but ok, again dueto off season, I reckon its very good in season. beutifull rooftop terrace which im sure is thriving in summer. can recommend

Ein sehr gutes Hotel, aber es scheint in dieser Saison sehr verlassen zu sein. Wir waren die einzigen mit Frühstück, aber das hatte keinen Einfluss auf die Reichhaltigkeit und Köstlichkeit des Frühstücks. Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich und fragte viele Male nach meinem Aufenthalt.

Große 3 Nächte im Movenpick Hotel mit allen Einrichtungen. Sehr bequem und nahe dem Gour Emir-Monument (4/5mn durch Fuß) und dem Registan-Platz (15/16mn). Viele Cafés und Restaurants rund um das Hotel, da wir das Hotel Frühstück nicht reserviert haben. Wir haben im Restaurant Caramelle zweimal gegessen (wirklich saftige Manti und schmackhafte Somsa & Soups) Wir haben die Sauna (Hammam war unter Reparatur) und die Fitness getestet. Wir hatten angenehme Getränke in der Poolbar. So können wir das Movenpick Hotel in Samarkand empfehlen. Und die Zimmerpreise sind sehr erschwinglich für ein 4,5/5* Hotel.

We are so happy and satisfied with this hotel until the day we checked out. We were accused of taking the laundry bag which is worth 300k Uzbek SUM. I went up with 2 staff and it turned out it was in the drawer all the time (the funny thing is I never even touched it.) I don’t blame these 2 staff as I know it is their responsibility to make sure nothing was missing/stolen (though next time it would be appreciated if they can check it more thoroughly.) What truly pissed me off is the attitude from another female staff at the reception named Zarifa. From the moment we checked out, she just looked grumpy and when my friend said “we never used it”, she reacted with “I am sure you did” in a very rude way! Even later on, it turned out to be in the drawer in the room, she was not even apologetic (the other 2 staff at least said “sorry for the mistake.” This is one of the 2 five star hotels in Samarkand and I just hope what we paid at this hotel is equivalent to the amount of respect you show to your customers. The hotel really NEEDS to put more training in your staff’s service. By the way, we had a really nice chat with another staff named “Firdav” at the first floor bar (if I remember his name correctly, he is tall and bit skinny). He had worked in Hilton for 2 years and the professionalism and politeness he demonstrated is just another level. PLEASE LEARN FROM HIM THAT HOW A STAFF AT 5 STAR HOTEL SHOULD BEHAVE AND TREAT THEIR GUESTS!!

Hotel itself was amazing. Very clean & posh. Breakfast was wide of selections. Swimming pool & spa was fun way to relax.  When we ask, they happily made us late check out. Very grateful! Vey much enjoyed staying.  Only downside was location, although it's close to a park, we found it hard to find yandex. It was quite expensive & took 10-15 mins to arrive. Since we have been using yandex many different cities, this time was the most hassle.

Отель - небольшой. Находится практически в центре. До основных достопримечательностей Самарканда (Регистан, Сиаб, Шохи-Занда, Гур Эмир, Биби-Ханум) на такси минут 10 и 15-25 тыс сум, в зависимости от времени. Рядом в соседней двери - хорошая самса (популярное место, местные часто сюда наведываются). В шаговой доступности много магазинов и ресторанов. Минусы - отсутствие холодильника в номере, маленькая душевая, очень простой завтрак. Из плюсов - персонал всегда старался помочь, на ТВ кроме многих русских каналов есть также YouTube (не часто встретишь). Разрешили бесплатно поздний выезд (в 17 вместо 12). Отель - в целом рекомендую, за свои деньги - отлично.

Samarhan ist die am meisten erwartete Stadt dieser Reise in Usbekistan. Also möchte ich auch ein komfortables Hotel finden. Dieses Hotel verfügt über sehr lokale Merkmale. Das Frühstücksgeschmack ist sehr schwedisch. Ich kann eine Stunde essen. Der Service des kleinen Bruders der Rezeption ist sehr herzlich. Es ist sehr bequem, einige Dollar zu buchen, nicht weit von mehreren Attraktionen entfernt.

Großes Boutique-Hotel, super gemütlich und charmant. Lage ist nahe allen meinen Attraktionen in der Stadt. Das Bett war super komfortable. Das Hotel war sehr hilfreich für alle unsere Anfragen. Wir mögen das Restaurant.

Das Hotel hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Zum Registan-Platz sind es etwa 6 Minuten zu Fuß, zur Bibi-Hanim-Moschee etwa 3 Minuten und zur Shayshinda etwa 15 Minuten. Das Hotel liegt in einer Fußgängerzone und ist mit Fahrzeugen nicht direkt erreichbar. Es wird empfohlen, den Start- bzw. Ankunftspunkt bei „Aziz“ in der Gasse gegenüber dem Hotel festzulegen. Das Frühstück des Hotels ist nicht abwechslungsreich, aber qualitativ hochwertig ist akzeptabel. Es gibt frisch gemahlenen Kaffee, Tee, Toast und Omeletts. und Wurst. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und komfortabel zum Wohnen.
