Es war ein sehr geräumiges Hotel. Der Pool hatte eine Rutsche und ein Sprungbrett, sodass ich auch an Tagen, an denen ich früh ins Hotel zurückkam, Spaß haben konnte. Die Zimmer waren sauber und die Bettwäsche wurde täglich gewechselt. Die Handtücher wurden nicht gewechselt, deshalb musste ich an der Rezeption danach fragen. Die Dusche hatte einen starken Wasserdruck und ich konnte die Temperatur einstellen, was sehr angenehm war. Von der Stadt aus benötigt man ein Taxi, das etwa 15–30 US-Dollar pro Strecke kostet.

Für die letzte Etappe unserer Reise kehrten wir ins Star Grand Brisbane zurück und wurden erneut nicht enttäuscht. Von den stilvollen, komfortablen Zimmern bis hin zum freundlichen und professionellen Personal – alles an diesem Hotel vermittelt das Gefühl eines luxuriösen Zuhauses fernab der Heimat. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend, die Betten unglaublich bequem und die Lage ist ideal, um alles zu genießen, was Brisbane zu bieten hat. Es war der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen und Erholen nach unseren Reisen. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: Die kostenlose Snack- und Getränkebar, obwohl eine nette Geste, wurde während unseres zweitägigen Aufenthalts nicht aufgefüllt. Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn sie aufgefrischt worden wäre, vor allem, da wir mehr als eine Nacht blieben. Hoffentlich wird hier nachgebessert. Abgesehen davon hat es das Gesamterlebnis nicht getrübt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier wirklich genossen und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

L'arrivée s'est très bien passée, les chambres sont propres et les lits sont confortables (si vous aimez bien les matelas pas durs) pour ma part, j'ai très bien dormi. Grande piscine avec l'eau plutôt salée, belle terrasse et de nombreux choix de plats si on a envie de manger quelque chose sans aller trop loin. Le personnel est disponible et sympa! Nice hotel in a good location. Staff were friendly. Well layed out pool and bar/meals area. As with everything in Airlie, did is quite expensive but they did decent sized portions. The rooms are quite small, particularly the shower door which is a bit awkward to get around unless you're slim. No room service during our 3 night stay. Bed is comfortable with plenty of pillows and a good sized smart TV. Overall it was a nice place to stay

Team was very friendly and helpful. Location is great, you have the esplanade close by as well as all the touristic thing.  We had a great sleep thanks to their very comfy bed and quiet street, bathroom need some upgrading but you still have all the necessities bathtub and all. The pool was close for renovation but the lagoon at the esplanade is well worth the walk. Would definitely go back :)

Einwöchiger Besuch in Townsville – einfach toll! Super Lage, alles Wichtige ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Cowboys Leagues Club ist schnell zu erreichen und das neue Stadion ist fußläufig erreichbar.

Hotel is next to star casino and walking distance to board beach. Hotel is looking pretty new and in fact, has been opened for few years. The only down side was the house keeping on one of the night. We booked for 3 rooms for 3 nights, on the first day, the house keeping was completely messed up. 3x Rooms did make up (partly) with soil towels (one of the room only has bed tidy up, nothing else) and etc were collected, however, no cleaned towels replaced, bin still full. Without this drama, this hotel is good.
