Communication with the hotel before arriving in Japan was nearly impossible. Once you are in Japan, if you use a local phone to call the hotel, they can provide information about where they can pick you up if you are traveling by bus. Apart from that, the service and facilities were excellent. The hotel provided a mobile phone that you could use to call them for pick-up at any time and from any location in the Nijigen no Mori area. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.

Dieses Hotel ist wirklich das Beste! Kazuki San hat unsere Reise absolut fantastisch gemacht. Er war bei allem so hilfsbereit. Er ist nett und gesprächig. Seine Familie war auch superfreundlich, sodass wir uns sehr willkommen fühlten. Wir haben jede Minute unseres Aufenthalts genossen. Es fühlte sich wirklich magisch an, wie etwas aus einem Traum. Danke für das Geschenk und die Fotos. Die Kunstgalerie dieses Hotels ist wirklich beeindruckend. Sie haben einige erstaunliche Stücke ausgestellt. Und das Frühstück im Café ist großartig. Wir können es kaum erwarten, wiederzukommen. Ich kann dieses Hotel jedem wärmstens empfehlen!

We had an unforgettable stay at Matsuya in Kinosaki. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The service was truly some of the best I’ve ever experienced—warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. A special shoutout to Cho, a new team member from Vietnam who is studying Japanese. She was incredibly kind and made our stay even more memorable. Our room was spotless, beautifully appointed, and offered such a cool and authentic traditional Japanese experience. The kaiseki dinner was incredible—relaxing, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. We had an early train and couldn’t stay for breakfast, but based on dinner alone, I’m sure it would have been amazing. At check-in, we were given yukatas and traditional sandals to wear around town, which made the whole visit even more special. The onsens were wonderfully relaxing, and the town itself was friendly, charming, and exactly what we hoped for. I highly recommend staying at Matsuya if you want to experience the absolute best of Japanese hospitality, culture, and relaxation. Truly a highlight of our trip. We are a LGBTQ+ traveling couple and felt very welcomed.

Wir hatten einen schönen einwöchigen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Es liegt in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Sannomiya und bietet zahlreiche Restaurants. Wichtige Viertel wie Chinatown, Kitano usw. sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Zimmer ist sauber und das Frühstücksangebot ist relativ gut. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen, der ein Hotel in Bahnhofsnähe sucht.

Conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from the Himeji Station East Exit. It’s easy to navigate to the other side of the station, providing quick access to Himeji Castle and Koko-en Garden. The front desk staff were extremely polite and efficient, and they can look after your luggage both before check-in and after check-out. In the restaurant to the left of the front desk, there is a free drink service starting at 17:30, offering alcoholic beverages like plum wine, wine, and shochu. From 20:30, they also serve complimentary Ochazuke (rice with green tea/broth). To the right of the front desk, various amenities such as lotion, moisturizer, and bath salts are available for guests to take freely. They also provide free hot coffee and tea, allowing you to relax comfortably on the sofa. Breakfast is a Japanese, Western, and Chinese buffet served from 06:30. It includes Himeji's famous Oden. Although it was served with mustard instead of the traditional ginger soy sauce, it was well-flavored and delicious. I stayed in a non-smoking single room, which had a window that could be opened. The desk was equipped with a large mirror and a TV, and turning on the TV displays the room-specific Wi-Fi password. While there is no public bath, the room's en-suite bathroom includes a bathtub and is fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. Controlling the air conditioning temperature and lights was incredibly convenient via buttons built into the bed, saving the trouble of looking around for switches. Having three power outlets on the desk was also very handy, and I highly appreciated the fabric deodorizer spray provided. Overall, despite being compact, I found the room layout and amenities to be exceptionally user-friendly. 姫路駅東口から徒歩３分ほどの駅チカ。駅の反対側も迷わず行けるので、反対側にある好古園や姫路城にも簡単アクセス。フロントの担当者もとても丁寧で対応が早い。チェックイン前後に荷物を預かってもらえる。フロントに向かって左側のレストランでは、17:30からフリードリンクで梅酒、ワイン、焼酎などのアルコールが、20:30からお茶漬けのサービスがある。また、右手には化粧水、乳液、バスソルト等のアメニティが置いてあり持ち帰り自由。フリーサービスでホットコーヒーやお茶も頂けるので、ソファでゆっくりくつろげる。朝食は06:30から和洋中のバイキング。姫路名物おでんもある。生姜醤油ではなく、からしではあったが味がしみ込んで美味しい。利用した部屋は禁煙シングルルームだったが、窓も付いており開閉もできる。机に大きな鏡とテレビがついており、テレビをつけると部屋別のWIFIパスワードが表示される。大浴場はないので部屋のユニットバスを利用。バスタブもあり、シャンプー、リンス、ボディソープ、ハンドソープ、歯ブラシ、歯磨き粉は揃っている。エアコンの温度設定や電気などは、ベッドに備え付けのボタンで変えることができ、あちこち探す必要がなくとても便利だった。コンセントも机に３つあって便利。服の消臭スプレーは非常にありがたく使わせてもらった。コンパクトながらも全体的にとてもユーザーフレンドリーな部屋の構造とアメニティだと思う。

Останавливались в отеле в октябре 2024 года. Взяли два номера на двоих. Плюсы: 1. Великолепные номера в стиле классического рекана: все очень красивое, аутентичное, масса мелких деталей, записок и подсказок для гостей, интересных безделушек в номере. У нас были кровати, а не футоны, но минусом это никак не назвать - кровати удобнейшие. Вид из номера (3 этаж) - на горы. Чистота идеальная, в номере есть все, что должно быть в номере классического рекана: от татами, до низкого столика для отдыха. 2. Бесподобный ужин кайсеки. Великолепный завтрак сукияки (готовишь себе сам). 3. Красивейшие интерьеры отеля, по нему интересно гулять, изучая его изнутри. Отель красивый снаружи тоже. 4. В номерах можно курить (мы этого не делали, да и номера не прокуренные совершенно). Есть курилка при входе в отель. 5. Чудесный персонал. Все просьбы и жалобы удовлетворяются за минуты. Плохо говорят на английском, но это не беда, общались через переводчик. Ребята классные, веселые. Быстрый чек-ин, куча напоминалок по поводу того, куда и во-сколько приходить / что и как правильно делать. 6. Есть приватный онсен (мы не пользовались). 7. Дают беспланый пропуск в 7 общественных онсенов. Дают скидки на сувениры. 8. Дают отличные юкаты для онсенов, для женщин - дадут красивые, выбор огромный. Нюансы: 1. Единственный минус отеля - удаленность от центра Киносаки (15-20 минут ходьбы по не слишком красивым местам). Но! Есть бесплатный трансфер от отеля до центра города, плюс есть трансфер вокзал-отель-вокзал. Да и ходьба от отеля до центра Киносаки нас особо не напрягала. 2. Это не бизнес-отель, поэтому ни стиралки, ни утюга, ни душа в номере нет. Душ (а по факту - онсен) общий на минус первом этаже - отдельный для мужчин и женщин.

Vom Bahnhof sind es nur 10 Gehminuten zum Onsen-Ryokan (Thermalbad). Da das Hotel jedoch auf einem Hügel liegt, empfiehlt es sich, mit Gepäck den Hotelshuttle vor dem Bahnhof zu nehmen. Wir hatten eine Übernachtung mit zwei Mahlzeiten gebucht, und das Kaiseki-Dinner war reichhaltig und köstlich. Anschließend besuchten wir das Taiko no Yu Onsen mit seinen Gold- und Silberbädern sowie einem Freiluftbad. Nach dem Onsen-Bad schlenderten wir durch die Hotelgeschäfte und genossen ein Eis – eine sehr entspannende und angenehme Erfahrung.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. In den umliegenden Supermärkten gibt es viele Lebensmittel. Das Zimmer fühlt sich genau richtig an, um alleine zu leben. Das Bett ist riesig. Konzentrieren Sie sich hauptsächlich auf die Trennung von Nass- und Trockenbereichen im Badezimmer. Das einzige Zimmer, das etwas schwierig zu vergeben ist, ist ein Niederflurzimmer im 4. Stock. Nachts hört man Motorräder oder Leute, die sich laut am Straßenrand unterhalten. Wenn Sie tief schlafen, können Sie es ignorieren

It was great location and facilities as well as the staffs are amazing! The hotel location is perfect, I will go back again in future. Except that the room we were staying on a second booking it's 19th floor opposite elevator area and at night had some noises, loud bang, continuously and the staff informed us that it was a sound from heater system on the upper floor. The noise was loud enough to woke us up from a deep sleep. Staff on the night shift solved the issue by giving us new room just to sleep, few doors away. It was quite enough for us to fall asleep and walked back to our original room to shower and check out. and then in the morning we checked out, the staff was just making a straight face saying sorry about that. I do understand that the morning staff can't do anything else excavations saying sorry but that wasn't a Japanese service mind action I used to experience. Thank you to clerk. Watanabe for assisting me through the double booking and giving us a request we asked on the first day. Kobe port view was amazing, we loved it so much.

Nach der Ankunft mit dem Port Liner vom Flughafen Kobe am Bahnhof Sannomiya erreichen Sie das Hotel in weniger als 10 Minuten. An der Rezeption wird Ihr Gepäck gerne bis zum Check-in aufbewahrt. Das Hotel liegt günstig in der Nähe von Bahnhof, Supermarkt, Minimarkt und Massagesalon. Im zweiten Stock gab es zwei 700-Watt-Mikrowellen, was super war, da ich mich schon darauf freute, verschiedene Sorten Kobe-Brot zu kaufen und zu essen. Dank der drei Aufzüge musste ich beim Check-out nicht warten, was meinen Aufenthalt sehr entspannt machte.
