Es ist ein guter - aber im Gegensatz zu seiner Zweig in Ägypten, sie hatten keine Dusche, Slips, Badewanne und andere Dinge in den Zimmern. Das Personal und deren Service war wirklich gut. Es ist nicht zu glauben, dass ein kleiner Zimmer mit niedrigem Deckel und kleinen Fenstern gegeben wurde, so musste man zurück zur Rezeption und um die richtige Kategorie des Zimmers bitten, aber es wurde gesagt, dass das reservierte Zimmer unter Wartung ist, nur ein anderer Zimmer war jetzt verfügbar. Nach Stunden warten, wurde das richtige Zimmer endlich gegeben. Wie lustig war es, dass beim Browsen der Hotel-Website immer noch die gleichen Zimmer verfügbar sind. Warum hätten solche gemeinsamen Tricks dieses luxuriösen Hotel passiert?

Overall an excellent stay. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, and we loved the bar and restaurant, which served good food and breakfast. The room was well air conditioned, which really makes a difference this time of year. My only complaint would be for the pillows to be softer. Will definitely stay again.

Große Lage, im Herzen der High Street von Woodstock und 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Tor des Blenheim Palace. Das Zimmer war geräumig und super sauber. Sie haben alles, was Sie brauchen und Sie können frische Milch von der Rezeption für Kaffee oder Tee beantragen. Das Frühstück war fantastisch.

The rooms are spacious, well serviced, clean with great views (depending on where you are located of course) I loved the balcony space ,table and 2 wicker chairs and was overlooking the golf course with midday to evening sunshine - perfect. Breakfast had great choices and was kept continually stocked up. Staff were helpful and efficient. Check in was smooth. The South African Handyman (whose name I didn't get) deserves a special mention for being great at his job and very personable. I had a lava shell massage in the Spa - wonderful - again didn't get the person's name. Maybe name badges or encourage staff to introduce themselves might be a good idea It's a great location. 30 mins walk to town centre - good footpath, easy drive. Definitely recommend. Had a great stay. Was a solo traveller and felt very safe.

This is a hotel with a bit of history; while it is very convenient for those traveling by car, overseas tourists should weigh the pros and cons. For instance, guests need to know how to take the bus into the city center or how to book a taxi to the hotel or station. On the plus side, the breakfast is hearty and delicious—definitely worth mentioning! However, do note that there are no in-room safes, and the bath room size is smaller.

We have stayed here twice. The first time (2025) we were in the block which is separate to the main building- this was OK and the service was much better. The latest time we stayed we were in the main building- its grotty. The carpet leading to the rooms was stained and the room itself although it looked clean, didn't 'feel clean'-the place could do with a refresh and new carpets. We were unable to get food upon arrival as they stop serving at 9pm- we arrived a couloe of minutes before 9pm after a 4 hour drive, we were disappointe and we could see a couple eating in the bar area whose meals came out long after we had arrived- so really we could have ordered and been served. We ended up ordering an Uber eats meal.

U really need a car if u are staying here. Otherwise, pricing is bargain basement compared to Oxford proper. Free parking, nice clean rooms though it's a good 20-25 min drive into central oxford. Would stay here again if in the area

At the centre of the lovely town of Oxford. Easily walkable to every attractions and a large shopping mall Westgate. If you drive, the 24hrs carpark at the mall will be helpful.

We have visited Sunbury Hotel a few times now , this time we were disturbed by person or persons at 02.47am and also experienced a lot of noise transmitted from above, both of which were a first for us and certainly surprised us. The cleaning service over the three nights amounted to pulling up the bed covers which is a definite lowering of previous standards. The complimentary bottles of water and snack biscuits were not refreshed at all, and the room itself now has two large areas of damp showing in the corners which should have been attended to and at least kept clean. The hotel was busy during the weekend but the Tuesday am breakfast was attended service rather than the buffet which was great as the food was freshly prepared and served to us. A warning if you have a pet it's £20 per night now and segregation in the bar area for breakfast which is fine except for the walk through with your serving from the restaurant area before it gets cold. The grounds are superb and the outside patio are excellent, plenty of car parking. It would be interesting to see if management comment.
