I loved the place, looks clean. I didn’t eat there was in a rush to drive back but it was great.

Really cannot believe that a smaller room with low ceiling and small windows was given, so had to return to reception and ask for the correct category of room, but was told that the room booked is under maintenance, only different room was available now. After hours of waiting, the correct room was finally given. Funny thing was that when browse the hotel website, there are still same rooms available. Why such common tricks would have happened this luxury hotel?

Brilliant stay, room upgraded and breakfast was included which I didn’t realise.  Helpful staff, lovely clean hotel.  Bus stop 5 minutes walk away, buses are regular to the city centre (approx 15 minutes away).

Eine angenehme Überraschung, ein solches Geschirr zu einem erschwinglichen Preis zu finden. Das Hotel liegt am Rande des Dorfes Chipping Norton, in der Nähe von Geschäften, pubs und der vorgenannten quaint Stadt. Es fühlt sich sehr luxuriös mit dem Golfplatz, unser Zimmer war ein Grundstück, aber das ist alles, was wir wollten. Es hatte eine schöne Ausstattung, wie eine Kettle, TV, schöne Dusche usw. Sie haben sogar die anstehenden Sport-„Paddle“ Gerichte zur Vermietung. Insgesamt ist ein schöner Aufenthalt während wir Didly Squat und The Farmer’s Dog besucht haben. Reservierung für Oktober.

Das Zimmer war schön, ruhig, schöne Dusche, mit dem großen Zusatz der Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück war sehr enttäuschend. Kälte und nicht viel Wahl. Ich hätte gern griechisches Yoghurt gesehen, nicht griechisches Yoghurt und auch Granola. Der Pool war sehr klein, wie auch die Sauna und Dampfraum. Der Gesundheitsclub-Assistent auf dem Vordertisch war sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Die Lage war großartig und wir liebten, den Kanal zum Oxford City Centre zu laufen. Gesamt 8/10 😊

We have stayed here twice. The first time (2025) we were in the block which is separate to the main building- this was OK and the service was much better. The latest time we stayed we were in the main building- its grotty. The carpet leading to the rooms was stained and the room itself although it looked clean, didn't 'feel clean'-the place could do with a refresh and new carpets. We were unable to get food upon arrival as they stop serving at 9pm- we arrived a couloe of minutes before 9pm after a 4 hour drive, we were disappointe and we could see a couple eating in the bar area whose meals came out long after we had arrived- so really we could have ordered and been served. We ended up ordering an Uber eats meal.

Rund 30 Minuten mit dem Auto vom Stadtteil Oxford über die Autobahn entfernt. Kostenloser Parkplatz vor dem Hotel. Eignend für den Autoreisenden. Zusätzlich zu 10 Pfund zum Frühstück. Variante ist begrenzt, aber gut genug, um einen Tag mit ihm zu beginnen.  Das Zimmer selbst ist breit und sauber, nur Marriott Standards so müssen Sie sich Sorgen machen.

At the centre of the lovely town of Oxford. Easily walkable to every attractions and a large shopping mall Westgate. If you drive, the 24hrs carpark at the mall will be helpful.

We have visited Sunbury Hotel a few times now , this time we were disturbed by person or persons at 02.47am and also experienced a lot of noise transmitted from above, both of which were a first for us and certainly surprised us. The cleaning service over the three nights amounted to pulling up the bed covers which is a definite lowering of previous standards. The complimentary bottles of water and snack biscuits were not refreshed at all, and the room itself now has two large areas of damp showing in the corners which should have been attended to and at least kept clean. The hotel was busy during the weekend but the Tuesday am breakfast was attended service rather than the buffet which was great as the food was freshly prepared and served to us. A warning if you have a pet it's £20 per night now and segregation in the bar area for breakfast which is fine except for the walk through with your serving from the restaurant area before it gets cold. The grounds are superb and the outside patio are excellent, plenty of car parking. It would be interesting to see if management comment.

Dies ist ein Zimmer auf dem Dach. Obwohl das Zimmer klein ist, hat es alles und ist sauber und ordentlich... Allerdings müssen Sie Ihren großen Koffer zwei schmale Treppen hochtragen... Das Frühstück wird zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten serviert. Da die 22 Zimmer auf drei Etagen verteilt sind, können weniger Personen gleichzeitig untergebracht werden. Mit dem Bus erreichen Sie das Zentrum von Oxford in 15 Minuten. Planen Sie ausreichend Zeit ein, da der Bus sehr langsam fährt.
