Beautiful location idyllic .we stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful relaxing time . Perfect chill out place and saw some amazing sunsets . Staff are friendly and helpful . Great swimming pool and accompanying music .maybe more parasols /shade around the pool would be good but plenty of sun beds and parasols to relax near the edge of the sea and overlooking the sea from the hotel Beach is beautiful .large stones you need to clamber over to get in but there are coloured sandbags to guide you and it’s worth the effort !! Small bar and restaurant bit pricey but what you expect from a hotel restaurant I guess .and in resorts generally .food is good Breakfast is ok could be better for the price although you can order additional items such as eggs omelettes. Pancakes s at extra cost In the town .Itself 5 minutes walk there is a supermarket and a number of places to eat , may be with booking at busy times . Club ipomea is great place to relax with the family .I hope to definitely return one day .

Francesco is amazing, and is helpful, warm, and go the extra miles to help. I have stayed in many B&B and many are friendly and helpful. What made Francesco special is he is personal, responsive, go the extra mile to help me. I can see and feel from my interactions with him and his interections with other hotel guests were that he cares for all his guests and their wellbeing. One example was he offered to send me to the train station as it was raining at no cost, and provided suggested places to visit and eat and also help with train travel. The hotel location is very good too. 7 mins walk from city centre where all F&B and shops and tourist attractions are located yet away from the crowd. Rooms are spacious and clean with daily house keeping. I am impressed and would recommend this place.

We were nervous to book here based on the mix reviews. Especially this being the only 3 star hotel we booked throughout our trip however, it had the most comfiest bed out of all our stays in Italy. The only downfall to the excellent location is the parking as it is difficult to find at busy times. However, the payable option is almost always available on the blue line side. Breakfast was okay not a whole ton of options. Everything was clean to standard except for the shower… we wore sandals due to the black mold in the corners of the shower. Not to make excuses, but I find this common in a lot of Italy’s hotels as you need to take into consideration of how old most of these places are. Overall, it was a pretty good stay since most of the time you are out and about exploring.

So schöner Ort zu bleiben. Alles ist so neu und frisch in dieser Wohnung. Das Zimmer ist groß und hell mit einem schönen Balkon, wo wir in der Nacht mit einem Glas Wein kälteten. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und sicher. Lage ist sehr gut. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und freundlich, sie half uns, unsere Gepäck nach der Abreise zu halten. Das Frühstück wurde in den nächsten Cafés serviert (Pasta, Kaffee, Saft). Nicht viel, aber es war ok, einen Anker vor dem Strand zu haben. Sehr empfehlenswert. Als gutes Anregn für die Zukunft kann ich empfehlen, den Gästen ein Strandhanddock zu bieten, da jeder zu Tropea kommt, um am Strand zu kühlen und manchmal ist es ein Problem, Ihre eigene Handdock aufgrund der strengen Anforderungen von Luftfahrtunternehmen an die Gewicht des Gepäcks.

Das Resort ist sehr gut gepflegt und sauber. Wenn Sie aber später zum Frühstück sagen 9am das Essen wurde verbraucht.  Die Mitarbeiter waren nett, aber eine Sache ist, und einige der Hotelpolitik wie Sie müssen einen Schwimmbad-Schrank tragen wurden von allen anderen Gästen ignoriert.  Der Pool war erstaunlich und sauber und konnte es überhaupt nicht fehlen.  Das Essen war gut, aber nicht konsistent, um Größen zu servieren, vor allem wenn Sie das gleiche bestellt am nächsten Tag.  Ich denke, das ist ein schönes Resort, aber teuer für das, was Sie erhalten.  Das letzte, was ich sagen würde, ist, dass der Eingang zum Strand nicht einfach ist, da es riesige Bäume gibt und wir fanden, dass wir durch andere Hotel-Eigenschaften gehen würden, wenn wir eine Tauchung wollten.

It was a very pleasant stay in this old monastery that was transformed into a hotel. There are only about 12 rooms and the Standard room is quite small but with a comfortable bed and very nice smell. The property has a stunning multi layered garden and a beautiful infinity pool woth views onto Tropea. Tropea is within walking distance from the hotel but about 12min away. Everything was great but personally the breakfast was quite simple and selection is limited. I'm not a big breakfast eater but just wanted to highlight it as some people value a 5 star breakfast buffet. Staff is very friendly and helpful and overall the property is very well kept in shape. Definitely the best address in this area.

Obwohl leicht aus dem Stadtzentrum entfernt, ist das Hotel sehr gut in der Nähe einer Bahnhof / U-Bahnstation, die Ihnen leicht zu erreichen den anderen Teil der Stadt und die Nachbarn. Alle Mitarbeiter, die wir mit ausgezeichneten Einstellungen kommunizierten, waren hilfreich, lächelnd und freundlich. Unser Deluxe Zimmer war von einer angemessenen Größe, perfekt sauber, bietet einen Meerblick, das besser als ”Man kann etwas Wasser hinter dem Dach des nahe gelegenen Gebäudes sehen” bezeichnet werden kann, aber es war trotzdem schön. Das Restaurant oben war auch auf die Erwartungen, mit einem besseren Meerblick von den oberen und großen Mahlzeiten. Wir genossen auch Frühstück. Sehr empfohlen, wird zurück, wenn wir in die Region wieder gehen.

Our host was really excellent at communicating both before and during our stay. Directions to the property and for self-check-in were straightforward and our host gave us some very useful suggestions of what to visit and where to eat. The property was no more than a 10 minute walk from the train station, the castle was practically on the doorstep, and the picturesque promenade was also just a 10 minute walk. The small kitchen area had pre-packaged pastries and there was also juice and coffee pods. This is the first property of 12 in Italy on our interrailing trip to have a kettle 🙂 We British always travel with tea bags 🤣 The bed was very comfortable and roomy.

Lovely, old-fashioned hotel in a great location. About 10 mins walk from the train station. We arrived early and the reception kindly made us a drink and even upgraded us to 2 rooms with seaview, which really made our stay. All of  the reception staff were lovely.The rooms were clean and comfortable and we even had a little fridge. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. This has a sea view.  The food was quite good, esp the seafood platter one of us chose. The breakfast is also very good, with a wide choice of items. (No English breakfast teabags,though.)  Would stay there again without hesitation if we went back to Bagnara Calabra. 

Es ist eine ausgezeichnete Lage für die spät anlandenden am Flughafen Reggio di Calabria . Check-in war sehr selbstverständlich , zwei Codes sind, was Sie in - eine für die Vordertür und eine für die Zimmer Schlüsselbox. Die Lage ist auf der Hauptstraße so leicht zu finden. Giovanni war sehr nett, unsere Tourismussteuer zu absorbieren, da wir nichts anderes zu bezahlen hatten. Der Bushaltestand für die Linie, die Sie in das Stadtzentrum und die Bahnhof ist ein Stein aus der Vordertür werfen. Nichts fehlte oder fehlte, der einzige kleine Nachteil ist, dass für Menschen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität, wenn sie einen Kräften oder so, es sehr starre Treppenflüge.
