Stayed for 3 nights Day1 stay checked in around 330pm and it was smooth, we were assigned a room in which on my request. Wifi was strong, water pressure was superb, it has a damp(wet) carpet spot till the end of our stay. Day2 breakfast was below average, unlike before, the variety was below par. Quality of the food wise average. We asked for room cleaning(tidy) but since 1100am till 4pm when we back from our errands, the room was still untidy. But we called the passer by cleaning team for towels change and other amenities replenishment Day3 breaksfast was like day2, less variety. Day4 breakfast like same day2 and day3, if it werent included in our booking, i would rather buy outside. 3 nights stay was ok but the question remains, maybe i would recommend but i will come back if the breakfast choices improve Overall stay: 3.7/5.0

You can see the mountain from the room balcony. Will surely come back to enjoy that view again. Room was clean. The bathroom is outside (next to the balcony), so at night when you want to bath, bugs and moths will be everywhere.

Accommodation: The accommodation at Borneo Inn exceeded my expectations. The rooms were tastefully decorated, clean, and well-maintained. Despite being in the heart of the city, the rooms offered a peaceful ambiance, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The amenities provided although a bit worn out but were still adequate for a comfortable stay. Hospitality: The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the hospitality extended by the staff at Borneo Inn. From the moment I checked in until the time of departure, the staff members were attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Their personalized service added a special touch to my overall experience, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. Facilities: While Borneo Inn may not boast extensive facilities like larger hotels, it offers everything necessary for a pleasant stay. The common areas are well-maintained, and the inn provides essential amenities such as Wi-Fi and toiletries. The cozy ambiance of the inn adds to its charm, creating a homely atmosphere for guests. 24/7 secure free parking was provided at the inn. Value for Money: Considering the comfort, convenience, and excellent service provided, I believe Borneo Inn offers great value for money. The rates are reasonable, especially considering its prime location in Kota Kinabalu. Whether you're traveling on a budget or seeking a cozy retreat in the city center, Borneo Inn is certainly worth considering. Ich landete am frühen Morgen in Kota Kinabalu, verließ das Land reibungslos, schnappte mir das seidenweiche Hotel und buchte ein vorübergehendes Hotel zum Schlafen. Die Erwartungen wurden übertroffen und der Aufenthalt verlief reibungslos. Die Fahrt mit dem Taxi vom Flughafen dauert etwa 10 Minuten. Es ist ziemlich ruhig, der Fluglärm hört man erst gegen 6:50 Uhr morgens. In diesem Preis sind auch zwei Frühstücke enthalten, was im Vergleich zu Resorts definitiv nicht schlecht ist. Es ist eine gute Wahl für einen vorübergehenden Zwischenstopp. Gleich gegenüber der Überführung vor McDonald's und auf der anderen Seite der Oststraße liegt Daqilai. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist recht hoch.

Nachdem ich fast drei Wochen lang gesucht hatte, habe ich viele Bewertungen gelesen, um das Aussehen des Zimmers zu bestätigen. Wir kamen um 12 Uhr nachts mit unseren Kindern an Ganz zu schweigen davon, dass das Bett (wir sind eine vierköpfige Familie) sehr müde und schläfrig war. Die Rezeption sagte, dass es das sei, was wir gebucht hätten Später habe ich die Kommentare noch einmal gelesen und einen Screenshot des Bewertungsfotos gemacht, um es noch einmal zu bestätigen, als ich es gebucht habe. Nachdem wir die Bilder erhalten hatten, haben wir mit dem Ctrip-Kundendienst kommuniziert und am nächsten Tag schließlich unser Zimmer gewechselt wie wir auf den vorherigen Bildern gesehen haben. Vielen Dank an den Ctrip-Kundendienst für die kontinuierliche Kommunikation und die Entschädigung von 150. Das Frühstück in diesem Hotel ist durchschnittlich. Wenn Sie Kinder mitbringen, wird für das Essen der Kinder eigentlich keine Gebühr erhoben, wir wurden jedoch beim Einchecken zur Zahlung aufgefordert. Das Zimmer, in das ich später gewechselt habe, ist immer noch sehr zu empfehlen und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Denken Sie bei der Reservierung daran, die Bilder beim Kundenservice bestätigen zu lassen, um einen Umzug in ein anderes Zimmer zu vermeiden! Das Folgende ist, wie es nach dem Austausch aussah. Was sich nicht geändert hat, ist, dass der Nachttisch neben dem Bett das Fenster ist. Auch das Badezimmer ist nicht so, nur als Referenz für Familienmitglieder.

What a great, relaxing place this is! We booked our room by sending them a message in WhatsApp and had no issues. The location is around 15 km south from Kota Kinabalu airport which is great, because you get away from all the traffic noise of the city. You can hear the planes every now and then, but it is nothing like the noise in the KK center. For us the quiet surroundings were the really big thing. There are just a few sea view rooms and even when there were other customers, it was still peaceful and quiet. Sea view rooms have their own pool so most of the time it felt like having an own private pool just for us. The staff is friendly and helpful. They helped us to organise our next destination and also gave a hand when one of us got sick and needed to see a doctor. Their laundry service is great too: we gave a huge bag of laundry to them in the morning and got clean clothes back on the same day. Liza, the owner, is such a great personality and we had a great opportunity to taste a potential new sparkling wine with her. The restaurant is spacious with lovely view to the big yard and to the ocean. We liked their buffet breakfast, but on the last two morning they switched it to à la carte. For us it didn’t make a huge difference, because the food was plenty. It was pretty much the same as the buffet options but served to the table. The dinner menu has more western options than typical Malaysian restaurants. We tried spaghetti, lasagne and fish and enjoyed them all, but at the same time wished more local options. They do have surprisingly good selection of wines from all over the world. In addition to a few glasses of house wine, we ended up enjoying a bottle of Italian pinot grigio on the Valentine’s Day dinner.

The restaurant is relatively expensive compared to typical street food joints. Luckily, there is a really good local restaurant just a short walk away and we ended up eating there our last dinners. The Palm Square shopping area is just a quick Grab drive away and there you can find more local restaurants. Getting there costs 5 ringgits. Sea view rooms are clean and spacious. Shower has warm water, but sometimes it took a while to get it. Water pressure was weak but we managed with it. It is a really nice bonus that the pool is just few meters away from the room. Each room has their own decked terrace with a fan and two sunbeds. Like other have mentioned, there is a beach but it is not very good. They clean it, but the trash from the ocean piles up anyway. Annoying fact that affects so many beaches in Sabah. We spent five nights here and really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nur für das Feinstaub höher. Das Zimmer ist im Allgemeinen sauber, manchmal gibt es ein paar Klebe, ich bin nichts, was ich sage. Der Wasserhahn ist los, ah, ich kann es nicht verwenden. Das Zimmer hat ein 18-20 Flach und rund das Gefühl, dass es brauchbar ist. Das Bett ist etwas scharf und dieses Wasserhaus ist im Grunde ein Jahr geöffnet. Ist die Bewohnerausstattung höher? Die tägliche Warmwasserversorgung ist immer noch ausreichend, wenn Sie sich auf den Wasserpeak beschleunigen, wird etwas kleiner. Die Landschaft des Wasserhauses ist immer noch gut, es ist sicher nicht mehr Madagin, natürlich ist der Preis auch sehr billig. Ich persönlich bin noch sehr reich an Mittagessen, es gibt Rindfleisch und Schalenfleisch (allgemeine Methode), und in der Tafel ist ein solcher Essen 3-50 Eisen. Auf der Unterwasserseite gibt es ein kostenloses transparentes Schiff ** beschäftigt mit Fotos, das Wasserhaus hat drei öffentliche Abwasserpunkte, die Wassertaschen sind sauber und unten sind Meerstars. Es ist alles Chinesen, die nicht gebärmt sind, und es gibt eine Situation, in der es Buffets essen und essen. Natürlich ist es nicht das Problem des Wasserhauses, sondern das Problem des Liu Bin. Ich wollte das Zimmer abbuchen, ich habe das Sonnenuntergang-Zimmer schließlich arrangiert. Ich habe das Nachtlicht zu hell und es ist nicht angebracht, die Galaxie zu nehmen. BB hat eins. Mein Mann und ich haben hier zwei Nächte verbracht. Die Queen Zimmergröße ist für Familie mit 2 Kindern unter 10. Während unseres Aufenthalts hatten die Fernsehsender Probleme aufgrund der Umstellung von analogem auf digitalem Fernsehen. Wir baten um Hilfe von der Wartung und er zeigte sich ...3 mal, aber das Problem wurde nicht gelöst (Mein Mann war ziemlich beunruhigt, weil er die Malesische Cup Finale zwischen JDT und Kedah ... lol beobachten wollte). Wir haben das Essen nicht getestet, weil das Frühstück nicht in mein Zimmerpreis inbegriffen war. Minibar ist nicht im Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer sind sauber. Das Hotel bietet jeden Morgen eine Zeitung. Die Lage ist gut, auch für diejenigen, die ohne Transport kommen ... Nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß zum Image, Craft Market und KK Market
