Wir sind in der größten Kälte von Dtl hierher geflogen für 4 Wochen u können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Zimmer; sehr geräumig mit getrenntem Schlafraum u grossem Balkon. Die Größe des Raumes könnte noch einen Schrank beherbergen. Den gibt es nur im Schlafzimmer mit wenig Stauraum. Natürlich kann man für 3 Sterne keine Luxussuite erwarten. Die Türen sind undicht, es gibt keine Klimaanlage für den Sommer u im Bad wurden die Fliesen mit Latexfarbe überstrichen- warum auch immer. Diese Farbe ist nun im Bereich der Badewanne ziemlich vergilbt. Das wird aber eliminiert durch die Raumgrösse, den grossen Balkon u die Freundlichkeit mit der alle hier arbeiten . Da wir 4 Wochen hier sind (im Moment immer noch) hat man uns wohl eins der schönsten Zimmer gegeben ; oberkünftig mit herrlichem Poolblick und Abendsonne bis zum letzten Moment. Vielen Dank dafür! Animation; Auch hier gibt man sich viel Mühe. Am Tage gibt es auch mal ein Freigetränk am Pool für alle . Abends geht die lautstarke Party meist um 21.00 Uhr los. Wird meist nur von all in Gästen genutzt. All inklusive finden wir zu zweit unangebracht, da das Hotel mitten im Ort liegt , wo an jeder Ecke Bars u Klubs mit Livemusic zu finden sind, man überall sehr günstig essen u trinken kann. Essen: wider Erwarten wurden wir hier am meisten positiv überrascht. Man gibt sich unglaublich Mühe u das Abendbüffet wiederholte sich an keinem Tag in all der Zeit! Das ist für 3 Sterne sensationell, denn meist kann man nach 2 Wochen auch bei 4 Sternen alles nicht mehr riechen. Gut, Rindfleisch gab es nie. Zu Weihnachten oder an den Feiertagen hätte man sich sowas wie Gans oder Ente schon mal gewünscht. Das wurde aber gutgemacht an Silvester. An dem Tag wurde abends 5 Sterne Niveau locker erreicht mit Saxophonspieler , persönlichem Empfang u kulinarischen Genüssen, die ihresgleichen suchen. Ach dafür vielen lieben Dank. Auch für Vegetarier ist das Hotel sehr zu empfehlen, da immer Obst u Gemüse in jedlicher Form vorhanden war u man sich dies dann auch selbst nach Belieben anrichten konnte. Ein toller Sandstrand ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Diese Bucht ist genial zum baden. Zusammenfassend; Wir kommen gern wieder und hätten es auch noch ein paar Wochen hier ausgehalten.

I arrived at Castillo in the early evening of October 2nd 2023 as a solo traveller. Having left home some 8 hours previously, I felt tired , hungry , and thirsty and was therefore looking forward to being welcomed to my apartment quickly and efficiently as a holidaymaker. Instead I found myself face to face with a surly and charmless young man who ran through the check in procedure in a bored and disinterested fashion before thrusting a grainy and badly photocopied map into my hand in order to find my apartment myself amongst hundreds of similar white bungalows in the complex At this point I might add I’m the only traveller checking in at that point. Some 45 minutes later I find my apartment after walking round the complex umpteen times , if the check in guy had removed himself from behind the desk and simply pointed to a gate 50 yards up the road all this could have been avoided. The apartment was tired looking , sagging curtains , broken sofa bed , the main beds were uncomfortable metal frame affairs with a mismatched wooden headboard jammed up between them and the walls No air con , simply antiquated ceiling fans/lights which were hard to figure out to keep running without the lights on. Kitchenette appallingly equipped . Something scuttles when I open a cupboard Blocked drains emitting foul odours in the bathroom The roads around the complex are shocking , featuring broken manhole covers , broken electrical boxes , discarded rubbish lying around , and oh watch out for cars randomly crossing your path without warning from the strange little mini roundabouts which allow cars to zoom in front of people in a pedestrian zone. Also beware the electric scooters hacking around everywhere I think I had 3 room service visits in a fortnight , and despite paying for late checkout on my last day I then had a cleaner wondering why I was still there at 12 , I had to google the words paid late check out to get rid of her , obviously someone hadn’t done their job! Finally if you come here and are not particularly fit , it’s approximately 1 1/4 miles to the nearest beach , despite saying beach resort and a steep uphill climb on the return I’m sure Castillo will give the standard reply to this review , but you need to revamp your rooms , employ staff that are good with people , repair your roads , look after your grounds properly , including using the irrigation system in order to avoid the eyesore of dead plants everywhere, last but not least some general information given to guests and proper signage around the place would greatly help!

The Hotel lied. Three days before our stay, we had read on another site that repair works were being conducted at our hotel. I got in touch with Easyjet to ask if this was the case. They said they works look into it. They phoned me back a day before we flew and told me any work was minor and would be finished. Me being me, phoned the Hotel directly and was told by Libby she would check with her manager. She reported that there was some painting of the chill out area being completed and it would be finished by the time we got there. As you can see in the photos, this was not the case. They were replacing tiles to the roof! Whole areas were sectioned off, losing at least 20+ sunloungers, Barely any safery measures in place. Loud noise too. If I hadn't been recovering from a stroke and I hadn't pointed this out when I phoned, then maybe, just maybe I could have got over it but it just wasn't the holiday I had planned for, expected nor been reassured about. Silly things also let it down: we weren't allowed tea or coffee after lunch or dinner. They refused to turn the machines back on from breakfast, instead pointing us to the pool bar to have one in a plastic cup. Who wants to leave a restaurant to go elsewhere for a cuppa?! Hardly an all inclusive service! Adult only Hotel but with only 2 TV channels in English, one of which is the Disney channel 🤔 😄 plenty of Mickey Mouse! Sort it out! Oh and while you're at it, please put a door on the bathroom! I'm not shy however the entrance to the bathroom was opposite the largest window, which was opposite the neighbouring Hotel! We had to have the blind down the whole time so we didn't show more than our ankles! Lovely huge corner room but spoilt by no privacy. Food was delicious 😋 not one bad meal. Alcoholic drink choice not great, cocktails appalling 🙄😒 entertainment was good on a few nights. In short the Hotel had the potential to be fabulous but fell short and became frustrating and irritating, such a shame.

Positive - Lage, Pool, Preis. Sonnenunterkünfte auf der Terrasse. Unterhaltungsmann war lustig. Negativ - Extrem brutal unbehilfliches Personal sowohl an der Rezeption (1 Lady) als auch an der Poolbar. Air con nicht arbeiten wurde für die Dauer unseres Aufenthaltes nicht festgesetzt, obwohl wir es zweimal berichteten. Gefragt für 2 zusätzliche Pilze wurden niemanden gesagt? Garten/grüne Bereiche müssen besser erhalten, Schütteln um den Ort war nicht attraktiv. Das Apartment selbst ist nicht genau ein negativer, da es mit allem bereitgestellt wurde sauber, aber nur fand es nicht bequem im Vergleich zu anderen Orten in der gleichen Preisspanne. Kann mit besseren Möbeln. Wir würden anderswo schauen, wenn wir zurück zu CDF.

Wollte eigentlich nur eine Nacht bleiben da Flug verpasst. Habe dann aber ruck zuck ein tolles Appartement bekommen, nagelneu, Erstbezug, super clean! Gute Hotelrate besser als booking trotz Ostern! Habe dann auf eine Woche verlängert, alles in allem tolle Lage. Paar Minuten zum Beach, Supermarkt und im 10 Minuten am Airport. Was will man mehr. Man hat die Wahl dort zu essen oder nicht. Fahrradverleich in 3 Minuten erreicht. Mietet doch mal ein Dachterrassenappartement. Sensationell! Für alle die keinen Wind mögen: besser ins Burgenland fahren:-) Kleiner Tip: der Barmixer in der Lobbybar Las Olivas hats drauf. Wagt einen Cocktail :-) Besonders aufgefallen: die Hotelleitung ist erstklassig, sämtliches Personal freundlich und arbeiten sehr sorgfältig. Hier kann man sich wirklich wohlfühlen. Die Poolärea war jetzt nicht von Interesse da ziemlich belagert ( ok, muss man ja nicht ) Es gibt sogar einen kleinen Supermarket in der Anlage. Es fehlt einem an nichts . Danke Broncamar Team für diese schönen Tage!!!

Das Hotel an sich ist sehr schön und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das beste war der Spa-Bereich. Schöne Atmosphere, gutes Angebot und Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, nettes Personal. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, hätte aber im Badbereich besser geputzt werden können. Wir hatten 'all inclusive' gebucht, jedoch war nicht alles inklusive bzw man hatte nur eine kleine Auswahl an Getränken die es ohne Aufpreis gab. Man darf dann gerne das 'all inclusive Plus' extra buchen, dass steht aber auch nur im Zimmerschlüsselkärtchen drin. Die inclusiven Getränke sind sehr einfach und zB der Gin & Tonic war ungeniessbar, Wir haben oft den Aufpreis gezahlt um bessere Qualität bei den Getränken zu erhalten. Das Enttäuschendste war jedoch das Essen. Obwohl es natürlich jeden Tag etwas anderes auf dem Büffet gab, hatte man nach ein paar Tagen das Gefühl man isst immer das Gleiche, da sich das Angebot einfach sehr ähnelte. Das Essen war wenig gewürzt und somit fad und langweilig. Oft waren die Speisen auch nur lauwarm oder manchmal sogar kalt. Am letzten Abend sind wir dann sogar ausserhalb Essen gegangen.
