[Lage] Sehr günstig gelegen. Nehmen Sie die Rolltreppe am Ausgang Y13 der Taipei Underground Mall; das Hotel befindet sich schräg gegenüber. [Ausstattung] Zur Ausstattung gehören ein Waschtrockner, ein Backofen, ein Bügeleisen, ein Induktionskochfeld und eine Bratpfanne. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet eine große Auswahl; einfach, aber sättigend und lecker. [Ambiente] Das Zimmer war sauber und es war ruhig. Die Gepäckaufbewahrung war praktisch und die Check-in- und Check-out-Zeiten waren flexibel. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. ✨Insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Der Preis war angemessen, die Lage günstig und das Hotel sauber. Ich würde wieder hier übernachten.✨

The room itself was very nice, big and clean. Bed was very comfy, assuming you manage to sleep. Location seems great for the station. It's about 700m walk down a straight quiet road, but unless you like listening to screeching trains, it's not great. The room isn't soundproofed well enough, and you can hear every southbound train coming in as they start braking right next to the hotel. The first one starts at 4:40am. I normally don't get up before 8am, but I was awake by 5am every day staying here. The hotel sells ear plugs, which seems rude given that they've been free in every other hotel I've stayed in that has a noise problem. And this one definitely has a noise problem. This place has no elevator, which isn't made clear on the listing. There are no cancellations, and it's only once you've paid and have no way of changing your mind they email you to say there's no lift. Carrying a 23kg suitcase up to the 5th floor isn't fun. Talking of which, after paying in full you get an email saying that your booking won't be held unless you also complete the registration process at least a day early. For this you need to add them on line just so an AI can respond to stupid premade buttons that take you to a browser inside line. Once you go through the process of registering, you get a QR code, or you would but you can't check in yet because it's too early, and you can't save the link because it's inside line. Clicking on the original link restarts the process again. I wasted an hour on this. When you get a QR code, it changes every 5 minutes, so you need your phone to get in. This means when you go out running you need to carry your phone instead of a small door card like every other hotel. Who knows what happens if your phone runs out of battery, I just you end up sleeping on a bench outside the station. Everything about the communications from this hotel seems like they want to rip you off. Arrive early? 500 NTD per hour early. Late check out? 500 NTD per hour. Forget to click checkout in line. Same, I guess. Warnings on the front door not to lock it or get another fine (how about don't let the door lock if you don't want it locked?) Extra toiletries? Also charged for, but with a passive aggressive sign saying you're being recorded so don't steal anything. Several other signs about charges for other things that I didn't bother trying to translate. Also, you're expected to change your shoes with slippers at the front door. OK, but there's no indication that they are clean. My room was a double, but I came down after the first night and the second pair had been taken..when I returned that night, some child sized slippers were there instead, and the next morning adult slippers. No idea if anyone wore my slippers while I was out, or if they'd been cleaned before or after I stayed. As well as the room not being soundproofed, the bathroom window has no curtain and the bathroom has a glass door. So once you've been woken by the trains, it's hard to get back to sleep as it's light by 6am. And the door to the room has glass panels, covered with black paper, but light shines around all the edges. The shower door doesn't meet at the side at the bottom, but there's a 1cm gap under the door anyway, so the first time you have a shower you discover you bathmat is soaked through and the extractor fan doesn't do much so it was wet every day afterwards. Overall, this room is perfect if you're catching an early train or like waking up really early.

Ich kam gegen 10 Uhr an und fand es sehr angenehm, dass bereits eine Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption war, sodass ich mein Gepäck abgeben konnte. Beim Einchecken wurde mir freundlicherweise alles auf Englisch erklärt, was sehr praktisch war. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Man kann Handtücher und Hausschuhe mieten, und da es ein reines Frauenhotel ist, dachte ich, das Badezimmer sei ebenfalls nur für Frauen. Es wurde aber auch von Männern benutzt. Außerdem gab es nur zwei Badezimmer, was ziemlich unpraktisch war, da ich während des Duschens nicht gleichzeitig duschen konnte. ㅠㅜ Es gibt aber auch noch ein Badezimmer im Untergeschoss. Bitte beachten Sie das. Die Lage ist gut.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral in Kaoshiung. Die Metro ist nicht weit weg. Das Wifi ist mangelhaft und wir hatten eine Kakerlake und ein anderes Tier im Zimmer. Außerdem hat das Standard Doppelzimmer zwar ein Fenster, aber das ist ins Gebäude gerichtet. Es kommt kein Tageslicht und auch keine frische Luft ins Zimmer. Man sollte darauf bei der Buchung achten, ich habe mich von den schönen Bildern mit tollen Blick blenden lassen.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March). Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks. Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing. Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.  Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for.  There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue. Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)

Unverzerrte Service-Modus, saubere Umgebung, einzigartiges Dekorations-Stil, sehr gut. Die vor der Reise bereitgestellten Informationen sind sehr detailliert. Sie müssen sehen, dass überall die Bedürfnisse der Kunden mit Blick auf die Punkte berücksichtigt werden.

Wer noch nie in einem Hostel übernachtet hat, könnte sich hier sehr unwohl fühlen. Wir waren sehr froh, dass wir zu zweit ein Vierbettzimmer hatten, denn angesichts der äußerst spartanischen Ausstattung der alten Unterkunft war dies für unseren Komfort gerade so ausreichend. Insgesamt ist die Einrichtung stark verbesserungswürdig. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist ausgezeichnet, man ist sehr flexibel und erreicht alles Wichtige in weniger als 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Das spart viel Zeit, da man keinen Shuttlebus benötigt.

Toilette und Badezimmer werden gemeinschaftlich genutzt, waren aber sehr sauber. Ich habe während meines Aufenthalts keine anderen Gäste getroffen, daher war es insgesamt akzeptabel. Das Zimmer war klein, aber für eine Person ausreichend. Die Schalldämmung war etwas mangelhaft, aber zum Glück waren die anderen Gäste sehr leise. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt dennoch recht gut. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, man kommt von hier aus sehr gut überall hin, und es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Allerdings stellt das Hotel kein Wasser zur Verfügung, man muss es also im Supermarkt gegenüber kaufen.

Nach über zwei Monaten in Taipeh habe ich diese Unterkunft wieder gebucht; der Preis war immer noch sehr günstig. Sie liegt nur 15 Gehminuten von der MRT-Station Taipeh und dem Bahnhof Beimen entfernt, und auch der Nachtmarkt von Ningxia ist abends in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar – sehr praktisch. Im Untergeschoss gibt es eine Lounge mit Sofas und kostenlosem Kaffee und Tee. Wer sich gut erholen möchte, dem empfehle ich ein Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad und WC, um unangenehme Wartezeiten zu vermeiden.

Leider schauten die Fenster nur zu einem dunklen Schacht und man hat den ganzen Tag kein Tageslicht. Zimmer ist sehr eng, aber das hatten wir erwartet. Dafür gab es einen Wasserfilter und es liegt direkt am Ximen Walking District. Wir waren 5 Tage hier und das Zimmer wurde kein einziges Mal gereinigt. Die Gemeinschaftsbäder für die Kapseln, sind auf dem Gang und es gibt immer jemand der den Föhn benutzt. Für die zentrale Lage, wohl völlig akzeptabel.
