The room itself was very nice, big and clean. Bed was very comfy, assuming you manage to sleep. Location seems great for the station. It's about 700m walk down a straight quiet road, but unless you like listening to screeching trains, it's not great. The room isn't soundproofed well enough, and you can hear every southbound train coming in as they start braking right next to the hotel. The first one starts at 4:40am. I normally don't get up before 8am, but I was awake by 5am every day staying here. The hotel sells ear plugs, which seems rude given that they've been free in every other hotel I've stayed in that has a noise problem. And this one definitely has a noise problem. This place has no elevator, which isn't made clear on the listing. There are no cancellations, and it's only once you've paid and have no way of changing your mind they email you to say there's no lift. Carrying a 23kg suitcase up to the 5th floor isn't fun. Talking of which, after paying in full you get an email saying that your booking won't be held unless you also complete the registration process at least a day early. For this you need to add them on line just so an AI can respond to stupid premade buttons that take you to a browser inside line. Once you go through the process of registering, you get a QR code, or you would but you can't check in yet because it's too early, and you can't save the link because it's inside line. Clicking on the original link restarts the process again. I wasted an hour on this. When you get a QR code, it changes every 5 minutes, so you need your phone to get in. This means when you go out running you need to carry your phone instead of a small door card like every other hotel. Who knows what happens if your phone runs out of battery, I just you end up sleeping on a bench outside the station. Everything about the communications from this hotel seems like they want to rip you off. Arrive early? 500 NTD per hour early. Late check out? 500 NTD per hour. Forget to click checkout in line. Same, I guess. Warnings on the front door not to lock it or get another fine (how about don't let the door lock if you don't want it locked?) Extra toiletries? Also charged for, but with a passive aggressive sign saying you're being recorded so don't steal anything. Several other signs about charges for other things that I didn't bother trying to translate. Also, you're expected to change your shoes with slippers at the front door. OK, but there's no indication that they are clean. My room was a double, but I came down after the first night and the second pair had been taken..when I returned that night, some child sized slippers were there instead, and the next morning adult slippers. No idea if anyone wore my slippers while I was out, or if they'd been cleaned before or after I stayed. As well as the room not being soundproofed, the bathroom window has no curtain and the bathroom has a glass door. So once you've been woken by the trains, it's hard to get back to sleep as it's light by 6am. And the door to the room has glass panels, covered with black paper, but light shines around all the edges. The shower door doesn't meet at the side at the bottom, but there's a 1cm gap under the door anyway, so the first time you have a shower you discover you bathmat is soaked through and the extractor fan doesn't do much so it was wet every day afterwards. Overall, this room is perfect if you're catching an early train or like waking up really early.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March). Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks. Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing. Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.  Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for.  There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue. Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)

We had 3 nights at Harmony in a room with no window, but it did not feel claustrophobic at all. We did have trouble finding it due google maps playing up and we ended up at the sister hotel further up the hill. Thankfully, one of the owners ran up the hill and met us to take us to the correct one Entry to the hotel is a pain when it pouring down with rain while trying to input your details for the QR code. But this was clearly detail in the listing descritption and previous reviews had mentioned this. A huge help would be to to put a larger sign identifying the hotels location. See photo with circle around the name…. Very easy to miss. During the stay, it was very quiet and extremely clean in possible the best location to old street. Literally 30 seconds away. Walk a little bit further and theres a 7-11 and family mart across the street. The wifi is w10/10 so very good for digital nomads. I highly recommend harmony and would definitely stay again.

Das Zimmer bietet ausreichend Platz für mehrere 32-Zoll-Koffer und die Umgebung ist ruhig. Unter der Woche ist ein früher Check-in möglich, sodass Sie sich nach dem Freitauchen umziehen können. Neben der Lobby befindet sich ein kombiniertes WC mit Bad und einem Wäschetrockner. Insgesamt bietet es ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ich habe bereits zweimal dort übernachtet!

Während meiner letzten Reise nach Hualien hatte ich die einmalige Gelegenheit, im Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel zu übernachten, und es hat meine Erwartungen wirklich übertroffen. Als ich ankam, erregte das Gefängnisthema sofort meine Aufmerksamkeit. Die Zimmer waren so gestaltet, dass sie Gefängniszellen ähnelten, was meinem Aufenthalt ein faszinierendes und eindringliches Element verlieh. Eine Sache, die mir auffiel, war das Fehlen einer traditionellen Rezeption. Stattdessen müssen die Gäste zum Zutritt nur die angegebene Kontaktnummer anrufen, was dem Erlebnis einen Hauch von Mysterium verleiht. Die Dame, die dort arbeitete, war außerordentlich hilfsbereit und geduldig und nahm sich sogar die Zeit, mir auf Chinesisch zu erklären, wie man die Einrichtungen benutzt. Ihre Hilfe machte meinen Aufenthalt noch angenehmer. Als Alleinreisender konnte ich nicht anders, als die unheimliche Stimmung zu schätzen, die der Ort ausstrahlt, besonders da ich ein Horrorfan bin. Jede Nacht tauchte ich in eine Atmosphäre ein, die genau meinem Geschmack entsprach. Es kommt nicht oft vor, dass man auf ein Hostel stößt, das ein so einzigartiges und aufregendes Ambiente bietet. Sauberkeit hat für mich immer oberste Priorität und ich war erfreut, dass das Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel in dieser Hinsicht nicht enttäuscht hat. Die Zimmer waren gut gepflegt und sorgten für einen komfortablen und angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die günstige Lage des Hostels war ebenfalls ein großes Plus, da ich so alles, was Hualien zu bieten hat, leicht erkunden und genießen konnte. Fazit: Wenn Sie ein abenteuerlustiger Reisender sind, der ein einzigartiges Erlebnis sucht, kann ich Ihnen das Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel wärmstens empfehlen. Mit seinen Zimmern im Gefängnis-Stil, dem hilfsbereiten Personal, der unheimlichen Atmosphäre und der günstigen Lage ist es die ideale Wahl für alle, die ihrer Reise eine aufregende Wendung geben möchten. Vertrauen Sie mir, Sie werden nicht enttäuscht sein!

When we were looking for accommodation in Kinmen, I wasn't sure I wanted to book a B&B. Looking at the accommodation available in Kinmen, it seems the majority are B&B and homestays. After having stayed at Zhu Shan Gandee, we finally realised that a good number of the traditional buildings in many of the ”villages” have been converted into accommodation. This one was in the Zhu Shan village where there are other B&Bs. There are no shops or restaurants in this village but downtown Jincheng is only a short drive away. This village is really nice and quiet (as would others I am guessing) and Zhu Shan Park is just a short stroll behind the house from which a top view of the village can be seen. Strolling around the village, this house stands out as more modern and attractive and the nicest in presentation (in my humble opinion). Inside, the common areas are excellent, well presented and homely. There are 2 courtyards to relax in and their atmospheres are so welcoming. We were out most of the time so didn't really spend too much time indoors enjoying what was on offer. Our room was a tad small but we love having a bidet to use. The bed was comfortable. A simple bread and jam breakfast is available if you choose to have it. There is plenty of ”help yourself” bottled and packet drinks in the fridge and in boxes on the floor if you don't want to drink them cold along with make yourself tea and coffee. There are no cooking facilities but there is a microwave. Finally, the lady host is really helpful and awesome. We rented a car so didn't need to be picked up. But she would go out of her way to ensure your stay is most comfortable and enjoyable. That hospitality personified.

I had visited Jiufen, Taiwan once before, but this second trip truly exceeded expectations. The view, the atmosphere, the service, and the host’s attention to detail were all absolutely outstanding. The scenery from the accommodation was breathtaking — truly a million-dollar view! The room itself was spacious, almost like staying in an entire house. The price per person came out to just a little over 1,100 THB, but what we received was far more valuable than what we paid. The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, offering us detailed travel suggestions and making us feel as if we were staying at a friend’s home. What touched us the most was that, on the day we left, the host even rode a motorbike to personally drop us off at the bus stop. It’s the little acts of kindness like that that make a place unforgettable. 「這是我住過最難忘的民宿之一。」 我之前曾經去過一次台灣九份，但這次的第二趟旅程真的超出期待。無論是風景、氛圍、服務，還是房東的細心程度，通通都令人驚艷。 房間的景色美得像一幅畫，簡直是百萬級的風景！房間非常寬敞，感覺就像住在一整棟房子裡。每人換算成台幣約一千一百元左右，但實際收到的體驗與照顧遠遠超值。 房東非常親切又貼心，不但詳細介紹當地景點，還讓我們感覺像是住在朋友家一樣溫暖。最讓人感動的是，離開當天他還特地騎摩托車送我們到公車站。 正是這些微小卻真誠的舉動，讓這段旅程更加難以忘懷。 “เป็นอีกหนึ่งที่พักที่ประทับใจมาก ๆ” ผมเคยไป Jiufen (จิ่วเฟิ่น) ไต้หวันมาแล้วรอบหนึ่ง แต่มาทริปรอบที่สองนี้ต้องบอกเลยว่า ทั้งวิว บรรยากาศ การบริการ และความใส่ใจของเจ้าของที่พัก คือสุดยอดจริง ๆ วิวจากที่พักคือหลักล้าน! ห้องพักว้างขวางมาก รู้สึกเหมือนอยู่ในบ้านทั้งหลังเลย ราคาต่อคนเมื่อเทียบเป็นเงินไทยตกประมาณ 1,100 บาทนิด ๆ เท่านั้น แต่สิ่งที่ได้รับกลับมากกว่าราคาเยอะมาก เจ้าของที่พักน่ารัก ใส่ใจ ช่วยแนะนำสถานที่เที่ยวอย่างละเอียด ทำให้เรารู้สึกอบอุ่นเหมือนอยู่บ้านเพื่อน และตอนวันกลับ เขายังอาสา ขี่มอเตอร์ไซค์ไปส่งเราถึงป้ายรถเมล์ด้วยตัวเอง เป็นความใส่ใจเล็ก ๆ ที่น่ารักและน่าประทับใจมากจริง ๆ

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Wunuan Homestay in Jiaoxi. Die Lage ist sehr bequem, vor allem wenn Sie fahren. Es ist nur wenige Minuten von der Autobahn Ausfahrt einfach nach dem Ausfahrtsweg umdrehen, und Sie werden den Heimweg in Minuten erreichen. Die Umgebung ist ruhig, scenisch und eine erfrischende Flucht aus der Stadt. Einer der Highlights war der Fluss vor dem Grundstück. Wahrhaft zu den vorherigen Bewertungen, können Sie dort Fischen, und es war eine erstaunliche Erfahrung für unsere Familie. Wir haben uns in der ruhigen Atmosphäre Zeit im Freien und in der Erholungszeit genossen. Das Auto erleichterte die Erforschung der Umgebung. Es gibt viele Strände, Farmen und Familienfreundliche Attraktionen in der Nähe, obwohl es ein Auto ist definitiv empfohlen. Die Straßen waren ruhig mit sehr wenig Verkehr, und wir liebten die breiten offenen Felder, Grünland und das Fehlen von Hochaufbauten. Es war der perfekte Ort, um zu verlangsamen, entspannen und genießen Natur. Der Besitzer war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfreich. Er empfahl hervorragende lokale Lebensmittel, schlug Orte zu besuchen, und hat uns sogar bei der Buchung unterstützt, was unsere Reise viel reibungsloser machte. Der Wohnraum selbst war geräumig, sauber und gut ausgestattet für Familien. Unser Zimmer bequem mit unserer Familie von drei, einschließlich unserem Teenagersohn, und wir hatten viel Platz, um sich nach einem Tag der Sehenswürdigkeit zu entspannen. Ein kleiner Punkt ist, dass der Badezimmerboden bei Weichheit ziemlich schleifend werden kann, so dass zusätzliche Betreuung erforderlich ist, insbesondere für Kinder und ältere Gäste. Insgesamt hatten wir einen fantastischen Aufenthalt und würden Wunuan Homestay glücklich empfehlen, jeder auf der Suche nach einem friedlichen Landrückzug während der Erforschung von Jiaoxi und Yilan.

Ein toller Ort zum Übernachten für Urlaubsreisende. Es gibt supersüße Katzen im Laden und eine stylische Bar, die eine super warme Atmosphäre vermittelt. Die Chefin ist sehr nett. Nur DIY ist möglich. Toller Ort für coole Bewertungen von Schlüsselraumkarten. Günstig und gut 😌, Es ist nur so, dass man jetzt auf Reisen eine Zahnbürste und andere Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs mitnehmen muss, und ich fühle mich etwas unwohl, wenn ich sie plötzlich vergesse. Aber es gibt hilfsbereite Geschäfte, in denen Sie diese bequem kaufen können. Denken Sie daran, vor 10 Uhr anzurufen und zu bestätigen, damit Sie sich keine Sorgen machen müssen, sonst bekommen Sie Todesangst und müssen befürchten, dass es nichts zu kochen gibt.
