The hotel carpet smells, the building is old and needs a total replacement of carpet. When we entered our room. It smells like bleach everywhere. We have to open the window to make it go away. The room is decent size and the toilet and bath are separated where there are no hand basin to use after using the toilet if someone is using the shower or bath tub. The view from our balcony is magnificent, the Melbourne tall buildings skyline. I also love the location because it is near public transport, free tram and shops, even universities. The kitchen are complete with cooking utensils and pans. They got free coffee, tea and milk. The toiletries were given 1 set of tiny bottles but we are 4 people booked in.

We had an excellent stay at Arrow on Swanston! The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and Melbourne’s main attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the check-in process was smooth. Overall, it offered great value for money, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Melbourne.

The Highlights 1. The location of this hotel is second to none. Right outside the door, you’ll find endless food options from quick bites to diverse international cuisines, plus plenty of cafés, bars, and public transport. Having the SkyBus stop to the airport just around the corner was convenient. 2. Every team member I met was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. They are well-trained and motivated to provide excellent service. 3. The room itself was spacious and modern. Both the daytime city views and night lights from the window were wonderful, and the furnishings felt new and well-maintained. 4. Guests have access to some excellent facilities, including a gym, a library, and a full wellness area. The indoor pool is comfortably heated even on a chilly Melbourne evening, and it comes with a sauna and bubble spa, which makes the stay feel more like a resort. What Could Be Improved 1. The room setup felt unusual. I booked a one-bedroom suite, but was placed in a two-bedroom apartment with the master bedroom locked off. I completely understand that I only paid for one room, but it felt a little strange knowing there was a part of “my” room I couldn’t access. Personally, I would have preferred a proper one-bedroom layout with full access. 2. The bedroom I was 'allowed' to stay in also didn’t have its own air conditioning. It relied on the living room’s unit to keep cool, while the locked-off master had its system. This design made things a bit uncomfortable at times, especially overnight. 3. The sofa had an unpleasant, urine-like odour, which made us reluctant to rest in the lounge. 4. The main door lock was rusty and stiff, making it frustrating to open and close. 5. There was no landline phone in the room to contact reception, so the only option was to head downstairs. A couple of times, even during office hours, the reception was unattended (likely because one staff member was juggling multiple tasks). It could be so inconvenient to have a more extended stay. 6. While the pool facilities were lovely, they were often crowded. The common facilities are shared with residents of the building as well as hotel guests, but this detracted from the relaxing vibe. Would I stay here again? Yes, probably. Mainly because of the unbeatable location, the great facilities, and the friendly staff. But I do think the hotel needs to address the details so that it can align with what they claimed as 'luxury'.

I’ve stayed at numerous at the Punt Hill apartments over the past decade, though it had been a while since I last stayed in one. Our one bedroom apartment was spacious, however the hotel is quite run down now. Walls in the bathroom weren’t very clean, neither were mugs and cutlery (I always make a habit of cleaning things before I use them!). I ended up staying mostly in the hotel as I was sick with the flu so I noticed the wifi was very glitchy and intermittent too so it made streaming shows quite difficult to watch that I ended up just using my phone. The beds were comfortable though! The location is actually fantastic too, right in the heart of China town and easily walkable to places.

It would have been good except for the large western facing windows left without blinds down and an electrical setup that turns the air conditioning off when no one is in the room. So we arrived to stifling heat, and an air conditioner that doesn't really cool the bedrooms, and no fans or windows in the main bedroom. Most other things were good, but having a comfortable room is fundamental and the apartment just isn't set up for that. We enjoyed the location and the pool. We can't really speak to service levels cos we didn't ask for, expect or get any. It was a bit frustrating that the hotel only had a booking for 4 adults when we made a booking for 2A+3C on trip.com but who knows who was responsible for that.

Not recommended for those who value their personal data security and privacy. Not recommended for internati9nal travellers who may not have enough charge on their phones to complete 3 forms, then download and set up an app that requires constant internet and Bluetooth connections. Booking required multiple insecure methods of sharing credit card details and identification documents along with 2 forms to fill out with personal details and an app to download in order to gain access to the Building entrance, Elevator, and Apartment. None of this information was given to me prior to booking. I would not have stayed here if I had known the extent of insecure transmission of personal information and amount of admin and work required just to check in and stay one night. I work in this space and know the risks. Management is putting guests personal data at risks with the excessive documentation requests. FYI, requiring someone to send credit card PICTURES and ID pictures over email is completely insecure. This is bizarrely at odds with the excessive security to get into the building. The constant need to carry your phone everywhere or you'd be locked of the apartment or even the whole building was extremely stressful. In terms of the actual room, once I got in, the bed, kitchen, lounge and floors were clean but the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time. This was not nice. You could see parts under the rim had not been cleaned in years. Toilet had also been recently used and not flushed properly upon arrival. I did not take photos of any of this, it was too gross. I ended up buying paper cups as the glasses/cups as those supplied were not clean, tried to take a picture but it's hard to see. They were covered in fingerprints and fibres of some kind. The view was nice and loungeroom was great, study nook was extremely handy for remote work. Balcony tiles are moving and could be a tripping hazard. Laundry was well equipped but did not have time to use it.

Geräumige, herzliche und sehr komfortabel Aufenthalt. Genau neben den berühmten 12 Apostel (10 min Fahrt) ist es sehr bequem für Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenaufgang Besuche und auch in der Nähe von so vielen anderen Ansichten auf der letzten Strecke der Great Ocean Road! Wir genossen unser Aufenthalt in dieser schönen Hausstil-Einheit, mit allen bedenklichen Einrichtungen in der Küche und den Badezimmern, Autoparkplatz direkt neben der Einheit, schöne Sitzbereich im Rücken mit einem Holzbank. Während es nur 2 von uns gab, aber wir fühlten, dass diese Einheit für Geld groß ist, da sie leicht eine große Familie von 5-7 Menschen (1 Queen Bett, 3 Bündelbetten und große Betten im Wohnzimmer) zu beherbergen. Sehr warm und willkommen und definitiv empfehlen, wenn Sie durch Port Campbell!

Der Ort war schön für die 1 Nacht, die ich dort blieb.

Ich habe dieses Hotel aufgrund des Preises ausgewählt, aber das Zimmer war sehr praktisch. Das Bett war flauschig und großartig. Alle Küchenutensilien waren vorhanden und es gab einen Supermarkt und einen Spirituosenladen in der Nähe, so dass ich mir das Abendessen zubereiten konnte. Das Hotel liegt etwas weit von einem großen Bahnhof mit Restaurants und Geschäften entfernt und die Umgebung des Hotels ist Teil einer Gruppe von Hochhäusern neben der Schnellstraße, sodass es sich um einen überfüllten und ungepflegten Bereich handelte. Von unserem Zimmer aus konnten wir jedoch das Meer bis dorthin sehen und ein großes Schiff fuhr vorbei, was ein sehr seltener Anblick war! Da ich in Eile einen Mietwagen gemietet hatte und keinen Parkplatz reserviert hatte, konnte ich nicht auf dem hoteleigenen Parkplatz parken, sondern es gab einen Parkplatz vor dem Hotel, auf dem ich je nach Uhrzeit kostenlos parken konnte , das wurde mir gesagt und ich hielt das Auto an. Ich hatte einen äußerst zufriedenstellenden Aufenthalt.

Ich blieb am 13. März 10, 2025 im Haus, und es gab eine Bande von schwarzen Leuten, die über Nacht eine Party im Haus haben 12. Ich will nicht diskriminieren Menschen und ich habe das Wort ”schwarz” nur verwendet, um diese Gruppe von Menschen in der Nacht zu beschreiben. Die Musik ist sehr laut, und von Zeit zu Zeit gibt es schwere Trommelschlage, die Sie die Schwingungen vom Boden fühlen können, und manchmal sie der Wand des Stadthauses Trennhaus 13 / 12, und ich dachte, niemand kann unter dieser Situation schlafen. Sowohl meine Frau und ich konnte nicht schlafen, sondern Angst, weil sie junge und starke schwarze Männer. Schließlich wandten wir um 2 Uhr das Licht an und öffneten den Garten, um ihnen von unserem 1/F Balkon zu sagen, wenn 3 von ihnen mit einer Frau im gemeinsamen Hinterhof laut streiten. Sie ignorierten und weiter! Um 17 Uhr regnet es, aber ich konnte nicht mehr tolerieren, ging ich raus und sagte ihnen ruhig bitte! Ein großer, hoch schwarzer Mann (nicht braun, sehr schwarz) sagte: ”Ich habe dich!” Ehrlich gesagt, ich war ein bisschen schrecklich. , aber was kann ich denn tun? ! Als die Rezeption am nächsten Tag eröffnet wurde (Haus 1?), beschwerte ich mich und bat mich um eine Zimmerwechsel (in der Tat Haus). Die Rezeption Damen sind sehr freundlich und sie sagten, sie hatten die Polizei zweimal die Nacht berichtet, weil der Lärm zu laut und beeinflussen viele Kunden, die in verschiedenen Häusern die Nacht bleiben. Aber sie tun das gleiche unabhängig von der Polizei Warnung. Laut der Rezeption hatte sie diesen Kunden von der Buchung der Quest Hotelkette in ganz Australien abgezogen. Als ich am letzten Tag wieder ins Hotel kam, habe ich eine Dankkarte, um zu entschuldigen, was zusammen mit einer Flasche Wein für die Unannehmlichkeiten verursacht. Obwohl ich in diesem Hotel ein Albtraum hatte, denke ich, es ist ein einmaliger Vorfall, und ich werde noch empfehlen, diese Service-Wohnung.
