A mixed experience. We booked for the pool facilities, which were great. We ate in the restaurant on our first evening - excellent food and very good service. The breakfast was good too. Some buts, though. Our room had a very uncomfortable bed, a strange electrical light show from some devices in the ceiling once we turned the lights out and a repeated electrical buzzing sound all through the night which disrupted our sleep.The staff moved us to a much more comfortable room on the second night. The floors upstairs were so bouncy that it felt like the hotel must have the underlying structure of a rickety prefab - very odd and a little unsettling. And the restaurant had no character at all - an almost sterile feel. All a bit odd. While the pool, the food and the service really were great, and the many golfers who visited were clearly delighted, some of the spaces do need a refurb and a rethink.

The Penventon Park Hotel in Redruth truly stands out as an exceptional choice. Every single staff member is incredibly kind and friendly, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. It's undoubtedly one of the best options in the area, especially for families with children, who also have a delightful time during their stay. The hotel offers a range of amenities, including a swimming pool, bar, restaurant, and convenient car park, making it a great choice for those driving. Additionally, it's only about a 20-minute drive to Hayle Bay and around 25 minutes to St. Michael's Mount, making it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. The rooms are impeccably clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend The Penventon Park Hotel for anyone visiting the area.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The location is perfect—right by the river and close to beautiful gardens and stunning views. We were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant; the food was incredibly delicious and way beyond our expectations, especially for the price. It felt like a fancy dining experience without the hefty bill. We had requested a non-carpeted room, and were so happy they accommodated it. The view from our window was just gorgeous. Everything about the place was peaceful, and the facilities were top-notch—jacuzzi, warm indoor pool, saunas, and even options to try golf or tennis. Overall, such a great experience for the price. We both left feeling relaxed and grateful. Thank you!

Didn’t expect to be staying in a block of rooms which were pretty soulless. Wanted to go into the Hotel bar for a drink but because we didn’t have a meal booked, as wanted to go out to Portreath by the sea for food, we weren’t allowed in the bar for a drink from 6pm, it was cordoned off! so I have no idea what the hotel bar is like. So I feel for the money we paid we didn’t actually get to use any of the hotel. All we wanted was a drink in the bar with the view. I won’t be rushing back.

The hotel itself catered for our specific needs, nice big room, warm, lovely bed, hot shower, tea, coffee, biscuits in room. Swimming pool and gym on-site which were fab. The hotel is a typical seaside hotel, dated and could use a paint job and windows need a clean but this didn't bother us. Breakfast was lovely, your usual help yourself to cereal, toast, croissant, jam, butter, yogurt, fruits etc plus you can request a hot breakfast e.g. fry up, eggs benedict etc. The hotel is right on the seafront, about a 10min walk from Falmouth Town station and 20min walk into town. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel ist schön mit großen Blicken und eleganten Innenräumen gelegen. Das Zimmer war sauber, geräumig und komfortabel. Das Frühstück war sehr gut – frische Zutaten, schmackvolle englische Optionen und schöne Gerichte. Der Avocado-Toast und die klassische Frühstücksplatte waren beide ausgezeichnet. Die Service war freundlich und professionell über meinen Aufenthalt. Das Restaurant war sauber und gut organisiert. Insgesamt, eine entspannende und angenehme Erfahrung. Ich bin froh, diesen Ort zu empfehlen und würde hier wieder bleiben.

amazing room overlooking the beach staff were very friendly and knowledgeable very clean hotel breakfast was great - however beware that the included breakfast only includes continental cold breakfast - if you want hot its an extra £6 A bit much considering the price of the room - just include the hot breakfast!!! check in was a pain - we got there early to use the facilities but couldn't get our room until 4pm - huge que of people checking in at this time

Das Hotel ist sehr gut. Es gab viele unvernünftige schlechte Bewertungen über diesen Ort, aber die Sauberkeit war gut, die Einrichtungen waren mehr als ausreichend, und das Personal war freundlich. Das Restaurant war auch ausgezeichnet, wieder ein großes Personal, und das produzierte Essen sah aus wie der Koch es auch ernst genommen. d.h. hausgemachte Tartarsäfte, hausgemachte süße Chillisäfte, frisches gebackenes Fisch. Gute Bierauswahl auch auf Draht.

Das Spa ist brillant und hatte eine ausgezeichnete Massage. Restaurant, Bar und Zimmer waren schön und das Personal super freundlich. Haben einigen Menschen empfohlen und werden definitiv zurückgehen!

Wir blieben am St micheals für unser Jahrestagsende und liebte es! Wir blieben im Deluxe König und es war ein schönes Zimmer mit viel Platz. Das Frühstück war ein schönes kochiertes Frühstück mit vielen Optionen von Obst und Waffeln, schöner Blick auch!
