Die Zimmer sind modern und sauber. Besonders praktisch ist der Wäschetrockner vor dem Zimmer, so kann man seine Kleidung nach den Wassersportaktivitäten trocknen. Die Hauptstraße und der Strand sind gut erreichbar, und es gibt auch einen kleinen Laden direkt vor dem Hotel – sehr praktisch. Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen und komme auf jeden Fall wieder!"

The hotel itself is newly opened, and it shows in the excellent condition and cleanliness of the property. The rooms were exceptionally clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, providing a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere after long days of exploring the island. We also appreciated the quality amenities provided, which added to the overall comfort and convenience of our stay.
One of the highlights of this hotel is its stunning location. The breathtaking sea view combined with the beautiful view of Cloud 9 created a peaceful and scenic environment that truly captured the charm of Siargao. The pool area was also very well-maintained and provided the perfect place to unwind and relax.
The food served at the hotel was excellent, with delicious meals that we genuinely enjoyed throughout our stay. Every aspect of the experience reflected the hotel’s commitment to quality service and guest satisfaction.
Another major advantage is the hotel’s location, as it is conveniently within walking distance to Cloud 9, making it very accessible for guests who want to explore one of Siargao’s most popular attractions.
Overall, we had an exceptionally pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siargao. It offers the perfect combination of comfort, cleanliness, beautiful scenery, excellent food, and outstanding hospitality. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit to the island.

GGastnutzerFerra Resort is a great option if you want to stay slightly away from the busy center of General Luna while still being close enough to everything. It’s about 7 minutes by scooter and located in a nice area near the beach, although I didn’t go into the sea during my stay.
The hut was very spacious and comfortable, with a mosquito net over the bed and pleasant lighting in the bedroom, creating a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was very large, with warm water, good-quality towels, and plenty of space.
The resort features a brand new pool, which was a nice highlight, and pool towels are available. During the visit, a restaurant was still under construction, and the overall experience was slightly impacted by ongoing works and workers extending the property.
The internet connection was good, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Nearby resorts were a bit loud at times, which might have been due to the Christmas period.
The staff were very friendly and attentive—I was able to ask for free coffee several times without any issues. A nice extra was the private water dispenser in the bathroom, available free of charge.
Overall, a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely come again.

BBrenton HerzichWunderschönes Hotel, aber für ein neues Hotel ist es schlecht organisiert und viele Annehmlichkeiten müssen noch fertiggestellt werden. Die Konferenzräume konnten nicht genutzt werden. Das Internet in den Zimmern fiel ständig aus und war für Geschäftstreffen sehr unzuverlässig. Ich musste die Teamtelefone in der Nähe der Rezeption anrufen. Unpraktisch! Ich habe in drei verschiedenen Zimmern übernachtet und bin mehr als zweimal aufgewacht, ohne dass es warmes Wasser zum Duschen gab. Es gibt keine ausreichenden Kontrollen, um sicherzustellen, dass ein Gästezimmer bereit und funktionsfähig ist. Das Essen ist wahrscheinlich für Einheimische großartig, aber nicht für Westler. Viele der beworbenen Gerichte gibt es einfach nicht. Toller Poolbereich, aber keine Außenbar oder erlaubt, im Poolbereich etwas zu trinken. Ich werde 2025 regelmäßig geschäftlich nach Butuan kommen und suche daher nach einem anständigen Ort mit abwechslungsreichem Essen und zuverlässigem Internet. Ich habe es hier nicht gefunden.

KKeyna RodelaWir haben zum zweiten Mal im Watergate eingecheckt und sie waren immer noch ausgezeichnet. Vielen Dank an das Personal für den sehr guten Service und das Essen. Außerdem schätzen wir die Reinigung des Pools. Wir haben nicht viel sauber gemacht, aber wir haben Poolreiniger gesehen, die ausgezeichnet waren. Tolle Arbeit.

WWorkHardToTravelKalipay is conveniently located along the main road, walking distance from CEV (the best ceviche in Siargao) and Happiness Bar (best happy hour deal).
The resort is quiet, has a nice pool and the rooms are clean. The staff are amazing — friendly, accommodating and extra helpful. The receptionist, Kim, took really good care of us.

Kkrs289Excellent hotel location, slightly away from the main hustle and bustle, yet close and convenient enough. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the center, with a tricycle constantly running. The grounds are magnificent, with a beautiful, well-kept garden and a private beach that is regularly cleaned and maintained. Free SUP boards are available! The breakfasts are decent and quite varied. Upon request (for an additional fee), the hotel arranged our room for our anniversary. Overall, only positive impressions. Everything was superb!

• hotel is new, they only opened last August
• room was very spacious
• beds, pillows, comforter were very comfortable
• bathroom was very spacious with complimentary toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner
• airconditioning was superb
• room has a balcony (that we didn’t use)
Cons
• because it’s new, apparently their how shower has not been installed yet. But they provide hot water from the kitchen and will bring to the room in a pail 😂
• location is not ideal as it is a good 10-minute walk on a dirt road to get to the main tourism road
• breakfast wasn’t impressive. The tapa and the tocino were tough.
All in all, it’s still value for money. The entries crew were very friendly and accommodating. And I will still consider staying there next time.

FFrancis See ZoneRucksack is the biggest Hostel in Siargao, it offers private rooms for couple, family or group traveller and Dormitory Type rooms for Solo Traveller like me.
Dormitory bed is comfortable with thick Hotel bedding, ventilation is very cool.
Price is also great specially if you are budget conscious .
Rucksack has its own Pool, Restaurant and Bar. Plus activities for guests every night. You will definitely enjoy your stay.
