Наше путешествие стало еще лучше благодаря этому отелю. Уже на регистрации нас угостили приветственным напитком, что создало отличное настроение. Понравилось, что цены в мини-баре не заоблачные, а вполне приемлемые. Вид из номера на долину был просто потрясающий! Персонал вежливый и отзывчивый, всегда готов помочь. Вокруг отеля множество кафе и ресторанов, так что всегда есть где вкусно поесть. Но самое классное – крыша! Там можно не только любоваться видами, но и наслаждаться едой. Кстати, летом можно поплавать в бассейне. Завтрак был очень вкусным и сытным, шведский стол выше всяких похвал. Мы с женой остались очень довольны и обязательно вернемся сюда снова.

The staff allowed us to check in early after a long overnight train.  Thank you. The hotel is comfortable and perfectly located.  We could walk to the Potala and Jokhang Temple. Dozens of restaurants and cafes were also within walking distance. There was oxygen in the rooms and breakfast staff were very welcoming.  Would stay there again.

The Hotel Barahi Kathmandu is in a great location, walking distance to great souvenirs in Thamal, tourist sites like the Garden of Dreams and the former Royal Palace. The hotel staff were so friendly, engaging and helpful. The hotel has a pool up on level 7 with great views of Kathmandu. The only flaw with the pool is it is surrounded by the restaurant, so no one swims in it. I had a suite the room was beautiful, very happy with the cleanliness and room service. The only flaw with the room is that it backed on to the service area for staff who were all working very hard, but there was banging and clanging all night and morning.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The service is top-notch. Rooms are very clean and they provide all the necessary amenities. We loved the view from our room and on a clear day, you can see the Himalayas. Breakfast buffet was lovely and the staff are so attentive and quick. Dinner at the restaurant was on the pricier side. We ordered a cheese pizza that tasted very bland and had to send it back. The chef added more cheese on top and reheated the pizza which made it worse. However, the waiter was very nice enough to send the pizza back again and removed it from our bill. Apart from that, we would definitely recommend this hotel and cannot wait to return.

Am heutigen Tag habe ich mich beim Hotel Shanker anmelden gewählt. Der warme Service, leckere Lebensmittel und Qualitätsumfeld, alles ist so gut. Das Hotel bereitet Dekorationen und Kuchen sehr gedanklich vor, überrascht uns. Aufgrund der späten Ankunftszeit hat das Hotel mir auch den Abendessen bestellt, so dass es sich bei unserer Ankunft genießen konnte. Schließlich das Essen auferwartet lecker. Ich empfehle Ihnen, das Shanker Hotel zu wählen. Wo immer es sich um einen Urlaub oder eine Feier handelt, ist es die beste Wahl.

Nice Old Hotel, Great Staff with few needs to improve. Swimming pool is totally disappointment. Better to shut down, than keep running and not swimmable, waist of energy. The water is dirty, no star at all. The lobby, the room and Ghurka bar are still great. 2 power shutdowns in 1 day, I believe they are struggling with power shortages due to dark lounges. Breakfast was so so, coffee or tea should be not a challenge to serve first, sometimes took half of meal before they come. Many Tables are not stable and aligned, egg can easily roll over to other side. Atleast 3 tables on my experience. Room is comfortable, nice bed and always fresh linen. Only noisy from AC , maintenance team came twice on my room to fix, though transfer was offered on my last 2 days. Managers should not standing in buffet line, either they should help the line staffs or directing the team, talking business in public is not of our guests concern. Front desk Trainee, has good presence, I thought first he is manager. A lot can be improved and polished, the hotel has a great potential, nice design, great facilities and great staffs. I wish that management should look all themselves and review those small details.

With each meal, we explored a plethora of different dishes, each more tantalizing than the last. It's safe to say that the culinary offerings exceeded our expectations in every way. A noteworthy mention is the hotel's convenient proximity to Boudha Stupa, a mere 10-minute walk away. This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere. The daily free yoga and meditation sessions held within the monastery on the premises are truly transformative. We highly recommend inquiring about the schedule from the attentive hotel staff – it's an experience that added immeasurable value to our stay. Das ist das letzte Hotel, das ich während meiner ersten Geschäftsreise in Nepal geblieben habe. Es ist sauber und Service sehr schön, das Zimmer ist gut gereinigt und Handtücher und Badezimmer vs Bettwäsche sind alle hochstandardmäßig sauber. Ich fühle mich hier komfortabel und glücklich. 13. Stock hat einen schönen Ort zum Abendessen. Freut sich, Lebensmittel von chinesischer Art zu essen. Obst sind gut und frisch. Top 15th Stock hat auch schöne Landschaft. Sehr verdient zu kommen und sehr empfohlen. Ich bewundere die Manager Shristi Manandhar, sie ist wirklich ein erstaunliches Essen für das Hotel. Wir mögen sie. i love atmosphere in this resort: fresh air, clean...and cool. we came in summer so the sky was changing drastically by hours but we are still lucky can see snow mountains on first day. On 2nd day, it s foggy cannot see anything but it s great experience to see how ocean of clouds flying in front of us. Food is ok but a bit higher than outside. Service is good, staffs are trained, they understand customer's needs and well supports
