It was an excellent stay at Scarman for me. The room I stayed in was clean, quiet and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel has a good range of food for breakfast and the selection of food for lunch & dinner was not huge but the food was delicious. I went to the University of Warwick to attend my son's graduation which the venue for the ceremony was within walking distance. To sum up, I am impressed with this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

Hotel Review (10/05/2026): Britannia Hotel Coventry: The check out time for Saturday and Sunday guests is 11:00 am instead of 10:00am. The room is comfortable and spacious, it provided a lot of space for relaxation. I like the white on blue colour tune too. There are hairdryer, electrical kettle, heater to be used The bathroom is spacious too. The WiFi and the movable heater are working nicely, yeah! Heater is important because it can be cold if it rains at night. The hotel is very close to the main tourist attractions so I took a walk outside in the morning, and I found out that currently you need to pay an entry fee to gain access to the Herbert Arts Gallery. Still you can always visit their cafe for lunches, coffee and snacks.

Great location for a concert at the Utility Arena. Nice decor in the rooms and staff are friendly and helpful. Good breakfast buffet with wide selection of food options.

Das Hotel sieht sehr posh aus. Leider dort, wo es aufhört. Das Familienzimmer war groß, aber fehlte Charakter. Die Fitness-Anlagen waren zusätzlich bezahlt Frühstück war ok. Aber Platten und Kegel waren gefüllt Wir reisen nach Midlandsa. Wir bleiben nicht wieder hier. - Ja.

The staffs are very friendly, the hotel is very welcome to the guests,hiper clean, quite difficult to find because Birmingham is a big City, however the local people around are very friendly and informative. The hotel is not far from Birmingham New Street train station, about 16 minutes away, what I noticed is that Birmingham City Centre have places opened 24 hours and I really recommend for anyone.

Lovely room, bed was amazing. Food was superb. Staff were fantastic. Leisure pool could do with a re fresh and our room was freezing cold. The heating kept switching itself off. Room 244. Would stay again but in the Warmer months.

Lovely staffs, It felt warm when a staff greeted me in the morning with a bright smile, the room was tidy in the morning when I got back. Room very clean, toilet and bath was clean as well. Had no concerns felt very safe. I would definitely recommend to use. Rooms are big and convenient.

Das Hotel liegt im Campus der Birmingham University in Edgbaston, so gut für akademische Konferenzen / Besuch der Universität, auch kurze Entfernung zum Zahnkrankenhaus, Kricketplatz, Tenniszentrum usw.. Viele kostenlose Parkplätze einschließlich blauem Schild und EV-Abrechnung. Eincheckung war schnell und effizient. Angela, die uns angemeldet hat, war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt eine große Bar, die kleinere Mahlzeiten während des Tages serviert und auch ein Restaurant am Abend. Die Bar-Food-Rezeption war durchschnittlich Preis für Hotel-Food (£12+ für Sandwich mit einiger Suppe) und durchschnittliche Qualität. Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, mit moderner Dekoration. Es war sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet mit Sitz und Tisch, Eisenbrett, viele Kette, Pokale Kaffeemaschine und viele Kaffeetaschen, Teebeutel usw. Black out Blinds funktionierten gut und es gab minimal Lärm aus anderen Zimmern / Korridor. Wäre sicherlich wieder in der Edgebaston / Birmingham-Zone. 

Mattress, duvet and pillow were clean but the wooden bunker itself in which the mattress is kept was shabby. Bathroom was clean. Location is 12 mins walk to town centre and staff was helpful.

We watched a Liverpool match while eating dinner. Brilliant! Breakfast was amaizing. The kids enjoyed the golf 💯
