Hull Humber View Hotel, BW Signature Collection

We booked a 2 night , Dinner bed and breakfast deal through Living social , and through no fault of the hotel on arrival it was only booked for one night . We arrived too late for the restaurant due to being stuck in traffic but the Lovely Viktor on reception called us for updates along our journey and making sure we was ok . When we arrived Viktor and manager on duty that night Jess spoke to the kitchen who still made us some very delicious burgers . The whole staff on duty during our stay where so friendly and welcoming , always smiling . The hotel was lovely and clean , plenty of hand sanitiser stations dotted around . The breakfast was plentiful with lots to choose from . We will definitely be returning And again Jess and Viktor ….. amazing staff

Stayed here last night with family and had a fabulous time. Ate in the hotel and because not many people had booked into the dining room we were seated around a large table offset from the bar area. The food was fabulous and Brian, who looked after us, was brilliant. Breakfast was excellent and all the staff were very friendly and efficient. All in all a hotel to be recommended

A few glitches on the first night in timings of meals and four courses not available. Room not serviced all three days. But the Management went out of their way to remedy the sutuation. All the stops pulled out for our final meal which was excellent in quality and presentation. The Hotel is lovely with some great staff who go the extra mile. Cassie Eric and Brian being the forerunners. Little bits need improving like ashtrays full outside been there for three days and room servicing. Breakfast choice is amazing. I would not hesitate to go there again as lovely hotel in a lovely setting with some great professional staff who are great at their job in management and customer relations. Great hotel.

Stayed here for a weekend away, room was basic but nice and was clean. The hotel is looking tired in places with threadbare carpets and old fashioned furniture which doesn’t reflect the high prices charged. We wanted to take advantage of the lounge with a view of the Humber bridge but when they are charging £4 for a coke and £8 for a glass of wine we decided not to bother. We got a free evening meal one night and I certainly would never pay for the food. The food should have cost a lot of money but was definitely below average quality I would never pay for food there when there are so many restaurants nearby. The breakfast which is normally the highlight of a weekend away was awful. Lots of menu items missing and very greasy fried eggs and watery scrambled eggs however the staff were very friendly. Overall a relaxing stay but I personally wouldn’t recommend or stay again

The staff were fantastic! And the hotel itself was clean and tidy. Had a good nights sleep. However I have to say the breakfast was very poor. Cheap ingredients for the cooked breakfast. The juices tasted like chemical and the pastry’s if thrown at someone would have been a threat to life! Stale is not the word. The coffee tasted very strange. Not what I would have expected from a 4 star hotel. The staff in the restaurant and hotel itself where it’s saving grace. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would stay here again however I certainly wouldn’t bother with the breakfast.

To be fair this is my 3rd stay and probably my most comfortable but I didn't have the standard room on this occasion - it just seems wrong that you have to pay more for what I would consider a standard room!

We stayed overnight for the wedding of our friends, perfect venue, perfect food, best wedding food we have had in years, wedding breakfast lovely, chicken cooked perfect, and the pudding was so nice, no one left anything on their plates, the evening food was also on par with the day

I had booked this stay for my partner as a suprise. On arrival the car park was nice and full due to there being a wedding, so there was a lovely atmosphere. We have a dog, so this hotel was perfect for us. The hotel on arrival was clean and the reception staff were lovely. The lady on reception was even kind enough to swap our room to a wet room as I have mobility issues. We stayed out until around 9pm visiting local areas and settling at a pub in Hetton for an evening drink with our dog. On arrival back to the hotel, we were greeted by staff and made our way to the room. We had bought our desk fan with us as it was warm weather, there was also a fan in the room supplied by the hotel. We set them both going as it was warm and as you know the windows don't open like the windows we have at home due to security of hotels. Our dog couldn't settle at all as it was so humid in the room, at 2am we couldn't bare it any longer and my partner went to reception and asked for any suggestions to try and cool the room. He offered us a large Dyson fan which was great if you stood directly in front of it, but just didn't project any cool air at all. We were all so restless we went out on the terrace and it was like heaven. 15 degrees nice and cool. After around 20 minutes we returned to our room and the heat just hit you instantly. I honestly couldn't cope, and I couldn't see our dog struggle trying to settle. We packed our bags and left the hotel at around 2.45am and headed home. We had so much planned for the day after but found the heat in the room so unbearable. Apparently there have been ALOT of complaints regarding the temperature of the rooms. It is a huge shame because the hotel itself is really lovely and the staff were really pleasent. Until the rooms are sorted with air con I cannot return. It really was far too much to cope with.

Staff very friendly. Hotel nice and clean .. but as soon as we walked into our room ... it was like walking into an oven .. they provide you a silly little fan which does nothing ... haven't slept due to the heat in the room .. its absolutely unbearable. No aircon in the rooms .. would definitely benefit with aircon 100%
