Schon bei der Ankunft in den wundervollen Weinbergen waren wir total beeindruckt von der Lage dieses so gepflegten Anwesens. Wir wurden riesig gastfreundlich begrüßt und unsere Lodge war einfach nur wunder- wunderschön. Es gab vom Haus zur Begrüßung einen Rosé (Cabernet Franc 2018), der sich auch über den Sommer als absoluter Favorit gehalten hat. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, der private Pool war ein Erlebnis, und auch die Minibar hatte für den Sundowner ein fantastische Auswahl (complimentary). Wir haben es als etwas für uns sehr besonderes gebucht, und selbst die riesige Vorfreude und auch Erwartungshaltung wurden spielend übertroffen. Die Qualität des Essens war fantastisch und auch die Weinprobe in wunderbarem Ambiente war ein Erlebnis.Das ganze Anwesen und das Wandern in den Weinbergen war wunderschön und egal mit wem man sich vom Personal unterhalten hat, es waren stets tolle, interessante und niemals oberflächliche Gespräche mit wundervollen Menschen. Leider haben wir verschlafen im Vorfeld einen Massagetermin zu vereinbaren, so war während unseres Aufenthaltes der Spa leider komplett ausgebucht...Hier empfiehlt sich im Vorfeld der Reise aktiv zu werden...

We stayed at this cute boutique hotel for three nights. We are a family of four and booked two rooms, one being the “teen” room which is a room with a bunk bed and bathroom. It was a great set up for our family. The only complaint is that the teen room was quite stuffy because it did not have A/C. There is a well maintained swimming pool and our family made use of it daily. There is parking out back, we were told that parking could be full but we never had any issues. The staff were all courteous and smiling. There is a nice buffet breakfast and the baked goods each morning were very good! The rooms were clean and spacious. There is a safe for valuables and a mini bar and fridge. The hotel is in a great location to walk the town. Restaurants and colleges all within walking distance. We didn’t use our car, except to visit wine estates. I’d recommend this hotel.

Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Das Abendessen bei Helena ist immer ein besonderes und Frühstück der perfekte Anfang des Tages. Wir lieben die Lage im Herzen von Stellenbosch. Dies ist eine der besten Boutique-Hotelerfahrungen und wir sind immer froh, zurückzukehren.

Wir reservierten ein Zimmer im Stellenbosch Hotel und erhielten einen Aufgrad, um in ihrem Schwesterhotel - Coopmanshuijs zu bleiben. Das Hotel kam mit einem Portier, der unser Auto parkierte und für uns reines Gepäck bewegte. Wir mussten früh am Morgen auschecken, so dass sie für uns eine Frühstücksbox verpackt. Das Zimmer war schön und komfortabel, hatte WiFi und LED beladen Lichter während Ladungsauslöschzeiten, eine Minibar, ein Badezimmer mit Badewanne und Dusche und AC. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich, professionell und hilfsbereit, und wir genossen die Upgrade! Es liegt etwa 5 Minuten vom Stellenbosch Hotel entfernt und in der Nähe der meisten Geschäfte und Restaurants. Hoch empfehlen beide Hotels, wenn Sie in Stellenbosch bleiben!
