The sanctuary rooms provided an amazing experience that connected you seamlessly with nature. The staff and service was excellent. Our open air sanctuary had an infinity pool and room service anytime was a plus. The restaurants served quality, tasteful food and our butler was thoughtful and made transportation, excursions and reservations easy.

A luxury resort carved on the side of a steep mountain with the rooms, called sanctuaries, overlooking the Pitons. The views are breathtaking. Let’s dig in. We took a car transport, takes about an hour from the airport through winding roads, the last 20 minutes being a very small road with no paving. It was rough. This makes you quite landlocked in the resort. You cannot just walk out and go to nearby Soufriere. You need to arrange transport and it is 20 minutes in a pretty poor road. This does mean that the resort is secluded as advertised. You can also take a helicopter as transport from the airport and it lands in a water helipad attached to a pier near the resort beach. The sanctuaries are spacious and open air as the theme is to get in contact with nature. If you are looking for air conditioner this is not it. Birds will come and see if you have food or leftovers. At night tiny lizards will come into the sanctuary, they are harmless. You will hear the sounds of the animals at night as you sleep. Insects will come in. There are mosquitoes but not many. I was bitten three times all stay. They fog for mosquitoes twice a week and they light up a coil every night. The bed has netting. The bathrooms are open air and you see the outside as you shower or anything else. Again, if this is not your thing don’t book a vacation here. We had a whirlpool that was great and they provide salts daily that you can add to get in. We loved it. You have a well stocked refrigerator in the room. They are spacious and we loved our sanctuary. The food elevates this place. It was amazing. Daily box with food are left whe. Your room is made daily. Chocolates are left every night, all harvested and made in the resort as they have a chocolate lab there. They use their own estate grown cocoa and use only unrefined brown sugar to make the chocolate. It was delicious. You can buy it in their shops in the resort. Most of their produce they grow in the estate in a farm they have and when you taste it you know it is fresh and has that earthy flavor. If you don’t like that kind of taste and prefer traditional taste of processed and saved food, don’t book a vacation here. They source their proteins from local farms as much as they can too. My wife and I found the food amazing. There are multiple restaurants in the sister resort that you can easily walk to or they can drive you there in a shuttle. The walks are steep as the resort is carved into a steep mountain and if you have heart or pulmonary conditions I would not recommend. To get to dinner in the top of the Jade building we had to climb about three to four hundred steps and it can be tiresome. But you can also ask for the shuttle and they will take you. You still have to do some walking and stair climbing from the shuttle drop off point though. We enjoy walking and took the opportunity to get our walking done daily. The staff is amazing. Your major domo is a call away 24/7 and they will escort you anywhere if you n

We stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights in May 2024 to celebrate a birthday. Arrival -We opted for the helicopter transfer from the resort to the airport, which cut the travel time down from 1 hour to 7 minutes! Julio, our helicopter pilot, kept the ride nice and smooth, and pointed out several landmarks on the island before we arrived at the resort helipad. -A short but bumpy car ride got us up to the top of another giant hill, where the resort is actually located. Check-In: -We were greeted by the hostess with damp hand towels immediately upon stepping out of the car, then escorted directly to our sanctuary by our Major Domo. Check-in actually happens in your room, so you’re immediately in a better mood while sitting and learning about the resort and its amenities instead of standing in line in an airy hotel lobby. Everything was remarkably well coordinated! -The helicopter can only accommodate backpacks and purses, so our luggage arrived around 5:30 pm by car, roughly 1.5 hours after we arrived at the resort. That fact should really be written down somewhere on the resort website so people aren’t surprised by it. We still had plenty of time to get ourselves together for dinner, but it would have been nice to know that had we planned an early dinner, we’d have needed to have our change of clothes and appropriate toiletries in our backpacks. -Our Major Domo borrowed our passports for record keeping, returning them 10 minutes later. Another person came to the room to do the credit card authorization for incidentals. The resort charges you 50% of your stay at booking and the other 50% one month before check-in. When you schedule excursions, the charges are treated as incidentals and handled directly through the resort so you don’t have to bring your credit card to every site you visit on the island. -Our sanctuary’s mini-fridge was already stocked with Coke, Sprite, bottled water, sparkling water, and juice. There was also a bottle of champagne on ice greeting us in our room! Room: -We booked a Moon sanctuary, and were given JC3. This is easily the most amazing resort room I’ve ever been in! High quality hardwood floors, comfortable sectional sofa and dining chairs, and proper netting around the bed with a ceiling fan directly over the bed. -You are outside. Seriously outside. The 4th wall is conspicuously absent, going along with the natural vibe of the resort. This makes for the most amazing view I’ve ever had from a hotel room, with two large pitons in our direct line of sight! The trade off for having this amazing room is not having air conditioning in the traditional sense. There are 9 ceiling fans, and we kept them on the whole time we were there! There is often a breeze blowing, but you’ll be glad the fans are there when the wind stops. I tend to run warm, so it was an adjustment sleeping the first night while feeling about 5 degrees warmer than usual. My wife runs cooler, so she had no problem going to sleep when it was 80 degrees at

I won't repeat other reviews. But they all carry the same theme of excellent service and amenities. My butler, Teclus went above and beyond. I was blown away by the crew that took care of my husband and I. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a more magical vacation. I will definitely return.

Had a great 3 night stay we won't forget. The rooms are unlike anything else we have stayed in, but that is easy to know from the pictures. Every interaction with the staff was great, but this is typical for a resort of this caliber and price point. What really blew us away was the food. Burgers and banana daiquiris at beach bar. Each nightly dinner option at Jade club. Tough to get this level of quality in the Caribbean and Mexico even at the well known 5* brands. The all inclusive was worth it.

This is by far and away the most luxurious and amazing resort my wife and I have ever visited. Pictures cannot possibly do the beauty of the property proper justice. Every room, restaurant, staff member, beach, activity, etc is absolutely first class all the way. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny. We will definitely be back. It is simultaneously exclusive, secluded, lavish and quaint.

Perfect long weekend trip! Exceeded expectations. Lovely room, amazing views. Friendly staff, especially Tony and Vito. Food at all of the restaurants was very good. Use the ear plugs provided because the birds do start chirping very early! Next time we want to spend more time on the beach. Can not wait to go back.

This is just an amazing resort. Yes,it is eye-wateringly expensive, but if you can do an 'add-on' to another resort or live near enough to go for a short trip, it's worth it. The open rooms ( only 3 walls) are a must ! I was worried that it would be too hot or lots of insects would come in. Neither are true. Lots of little birds come in, who are VERY clever at trying to pinch your food leftovers, no matter how tightly you think you've wrapped them up. The private pools are also quite big - not just a plunge pool, you can get a few strokes in!

We stayed in a Moon Sanctuary(JB4). The room was magical. The view, the pool, the bed, the bathroom....EVERYTHING was special. The room temperature without AC was perfect. There was always a breeze. The walk back from the beach is up a steep hill, but a quick dip in the pool cooled you off. To avoid the walk, you can take a quick shuttle back up. The food, views, beaches, snorkeling, and staff are amazing. Most of the time, you felt like you were the only ones on the property.
