The manager was helpful and friendly l. He booked taxis for work and saved my food in the fridge for next day. Neat and warm place , very authentic and serene a**osphere in surroundings
Worth the stay for a memorable experience .

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem alten Gebäude, was sehr charmant ist, besonders die Oak Bar mit Ledersesseln und Kaminfeuer. Im Sommer kann man sicher sehr schön draußen sitzen, direkt am Fluss Avon. Wir haben gut geschlafen, das Zimmer war groß und sauber und das Frühstück auch gut.

Great location lovely grounds staff friendly few things wrong with the room dirty finger prints on the back of the door two lights not working extract in the bathroom not working but clean sheets and big bed also the girl in charge of breakfast was brilliant ( not shore I liked the staff smoking by the front door) I would return though.

I booked very late and had to take what was left but why they were allocating a box room, literally at the entrance to the main bar, when they knew they had a large wedding reception over the one night I needed accommodation, I really can not understand. The cost can not have justified my discomfort and disgust at their money grubbing.
To add insult to injury the advertised wifi that was not available so I was unable to do any of the work I wanted to do but I still could not watch TV. Apart from the noise the TV was not working. The man at the desk attempted to get it going; the power was on and the batteries in the handset were changed, but there was no TV.
The room had no window, just a skylight that let in very little air. There was no AC just additional noise. When I tried to purchase breakfast the following day, I was told it had to be 'pre-authorised. I went elsewhere; I will not be returning to this hotel.
The hotel capitalises on it's picturesque location but does not appear very interested in customer satisfaction.

Old tired hotel an awful experience. Furniture dated, room facilities falling apart, no AC, water in bottle from the tap and had not been changed in a long time. Not worth the money go elsewhere. Don’t get fooled by the creative photography.

Booked a suite, had to move to a standard room as the suite was over the bar and was baking hot in the rook eaves... so with windows open was too noisy. The standard room we shifted too was in dire need of a refurb. Tired & dirty decor.

The property and room appeared dirty, the floor looked as if it had not been vacuumed since the previous guest,the room had no window just a small sky light and was like a converted store room. This room and property was not as advertised. As a result, we left and did not stay the night.

Lovely staff room and service. Easy parking. Location on the river looking across to the Cathedral sublime. An easy walk to the Cathedral & City. Excellent buffet breakfast and supper. Reception very helpful in dealing with poorly draining sink and shower ( hope fixed for next guests).
