Das Gardaland Resort Hotel ist leider nicht zu empfehlen. Wir waren 4 Nächte im August 2020 Vorort. Das Frühstück ist eine Katastrophe Qualitativ sehr schlecht. Es gibt kein Kindergerechtes Essen. Das Personal wirkt hektisch und gestresst. An allen Ecken herrscht Abzocke. Für Poolhandtücher muss bezahlt werden. Kugel Eis 2,5€ am Pool. Wenn der Quittungszettel für die Handtücher fehlt bekommt man seine Kaution nicht mehr zurück. Bademützen für 6€ muss Mann kaufen sonst darf man nicht in den Pool. Der inkludierte Gardaland Besuch von 2 Tagen muss an aufeinander folgenden Tagen genommen werden. Bei der Buchung gibt es dazu keinen Hinweiss. Für das Gardaland selbst braucht man eine App sonst kann man die Fahrgeschäfte bzw. Kioske nicht buchen. Mit der App virtuell in der Schlange stehen für eine Pizza wenn sonst keiner vor dir ist ist am Ziel vorbei. Natürlich tracked die App dich ständig. Vom Datenschutz und Persönlichkeitsrechten weit entfernt. Denn es geht nicht ohne. Wir hatten uns mit dem Hotel Manager Vorort auf die Rückzahlung des erneuten Eintritts geeinigt. Leider Hat sich die Hotel Leitung nicht an diese Vereinbarung gehalten. Das Hotel ist leider nicht Empfehlenswert für Familien.

Ich war vier Nächte am Eurocongressi. Mein Partner und ich wurden von den schönen Damen in der Rezeption begrüßt. Wir wurden unser Zimmer gegeben und es war wunderschön. Hatte einen schönen Blick auf das Dorf. Das Hotel ist datiert, aber das nimmt nicht die Reinigung weg. Unsere Zimmer wurden täglich mit frischen Handtüchern und Zimmern alle geputzt. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an Kuchen und Backwaren zum Frühstück und ein paar Optionen von Eiern und Omelettes. Viel zu wählen. Es ist in einer guten Lage, würde ich vorschlagen, ein Auto zu werben, wenn Sie planen, zu Sirmione zu reisen. Wir haben unsere Zeit in diesem Hotel und in Italien absolut geliebt. Wir empfehlen es definitiv jedem, der hier bleiben möchte.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo hotel. La stanza era pulita ma come già sottolineato in una recensione di maggio 2023, ”mancano alcune accortezze di un hotel 4 stelle che dovrebbero essere scontate” (i.e in bagno non c'è nessun bicchiere, porta spazzolino, salviette, fazzoletti etc...). In questo periodo, inoltre, stanno facendo dei lavori, quindi una volta fatto il check-in, dopo pranzo (ore 15 pomeriggio), c'erano i muratori che utilizzavano il trapano e facevano abbastanza rumore fino le 18 più o meno. La sera abbiamo cenato in un ristorante e al nostro ritorno in albergo c'era un cameriere seduto nella hall che ci ha chiesto dove avessimo mangiato, di dove eravamo. Abbiamo risposto alle sue domande per educazione e gentilezza anche se è stato un po' ”invasivo” nel chiedere a mia figlia ”Where are you from?” quando fino a poco tempo prima stavamo parlando in italiano. Una volta entrate in stanza, mia figlia riceve la richiesta su instagram da questo cameriere SENZA avergli mai detto nome e cognome. Il giorno dopo, facciamo colazione ( la quale non era abbondante e neanche troppo degna di un hotel 4 stelle). Dopodiché al check-out, chiediamo al receptionist (che tra l'altro era il responsabile) se fosse normale che un loro dipendente chiedesse l'amicizia su instagram, non sapendo i nostri dati personali, lasciandoci quindi supporre che avesse chiesto direttamente alla reception il nome e cognome di mia figlia. Il responsabile ci ha risposto che avevamo assolutamente ragione e che avrebbe preso dei provvedimenti siccome era inaccettabile e ci avrebbe tenute aggiornate via email sui provvedimenti e ”indagini”. In fine, dopo 2 settimane, non ci ha mai comunicato chi avesse trafugato i dati dalla reception al cameriere. quindi attenzione alle vostre carte di credito o altri dati sensibili che potrebbero essere trasmessi a terze persone indesiderate.

Wir haben vor kurzem 4 Nächte in einem Junior Suite Comfort Zimmer geblieben. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes großes Zimmer im oberen Stock des Hotels, mit Blick auf den See - und erstaunliche Sonnenaufgang! Das Duschezimmer war nicht riesig, aber ausreichend, und es schien ziemlich kürzlich renoviert worden. Gute Qualität Toiletten wurden geliefert, aber keine Seife, die wir merkwürdig fanden. Wir hatten auch Handtücher, Slips und Handtücher für den Spa oder den Schwimmbad. Das Bett war einer der größten, die wir je gesehen haben - und es gab ein Jacuzzi-Badewanne in einer Ecke des Schlafzimmers. Wir waren auf einer halben Platte und fanden die Mahlzeiten sehr gut, obwohl es nicht viele Wahlen im Abendessenmenü gab und wir waren froh über die Spezialitäten, die wir jeden Tag anbieten. Der Wein war ein erschwinglicher Preis und sie waren froh, das für eine andere Nacht zu behalten. Das wartende Personal war sehr angenehm und das Rezeptionspersonal hilfreich. Und sie alle sprachen ausgezeichnet Englisch! Das Hotel befindet sich in einer guten Lage in Desenzano, ca. 20 Minuten’ einfachen Spaziergang vom Zentrum, wo es viele Restaurants und Bars gibt, und wo die Boote am Garda-See ausgehen. Es gibt eine Reihe von Steinstranden, wo Sonnenbäder und Schatten geleistet werden können. Und es gibt gute Bus- und Zugverbindungen von Desenzano. Die Station ist etwa 30 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel und ein Taxi kostet €10. Wir hatten Tage in Verona (über den Zug), Peschiera (über den Bus) und Bardolino und Sirmione mit dem Boot.

Die Lage an einer verkehrsreichen Achse ist für einmalige Übernachtung bei schalldichtschließenden Fenster akzeptabel. Qualität und Ausstattung des Hotels ist hervorragend. Das gleiche kann man auch zum Frühstück sagen.

The fabric of the hotel is very good. Clean and fresh and so it should be as I believe it has recently been refurbished. If you want a hotel where there is daytime/night time entertainment this is not for you. It is generally a quiet relaxing hotel. Children are allowed but they will have to provide their own entertainment. There are three pools, one in the spa, one adults only and one that children can use. The pool bar was not in operation while we were there. The hotel is a 50 min walk from the town of Lazise on reasonable paths that are shared with cyclists. But you take your life in your own hands as the cyclists and scooter riders just fly past with no warning. A taxi into town costs 15-20 euro. There is no shuttle bus at the hotel even though it indicates there is on the trip advisor hotel listing. And to the reviewer who says it is a 5 min walk to the lake..you are wrong. I would say it is at least 15 mins and that includes a shortcut through a vineyard and a campsite. The rooms are a decent size. Storage for clothes could be improved with more drawer/shelf space. There is a fridge (no mini bar) which on arrival has two bottles of water in. It seems pot luck as to whether the water is replenished. A good size TV but maybe only 3 English channels (news). The bedside lamps are quite dim...not enough light to read by. All rooms have a balcony or terrace for ground floor. There was no milk to make hot drinks. We purchased some from the local supermarket. Breakfast is more or less typical for a holiday hotel. Fresh fruit..well melon and pineapple, yogurts. Continental style with meats and cheeses plus a pastry section. Don't expect a full English here.... there is bacon, fried egg and sausage but that is all. The food was a decent quality. There is a gripe I do have in that when the bread ran out we were tod it was finished and no more would be coming out.....this wasn't at the end of the breakfast sitting but with still 45 mins to go. NOT ACCEPTABLE. One thing that we observed was a family who loaded up breakfast food of all description including fresh fruit, as well as taking water bottles from the display and then blatantly took it back to their rooms. They took plates piled high and filled bags. It wasn't as if they were having breakfast in their rooms as they were eating breakfast in the dining room. They were clearly taking food to eat later in the day! The staff knew but did nothing. Maybe that is why they ran out of bread. We only dined in the evening twice. The menu is not extensive .....in fact there were only two choices of main meal. Other course were labelled starter, first course, second course, so maybe you are supposed to have one of each course because the size of the main dish is not huge. If you have a decent appetite you will need more than one course. The main problem with this hotel is the lack of staff. There was not enough waiting staff at all so tables were delayed in getting cleared and more importantly food

Bei Ankunft macht das Hotel einen netten Eindruck, herzlich willkommen geheissen, wird man nicht, eher kühl distanziert. Über das Zimmer selbst, gibt es leider fast nur negatives zu berichten. Bei Ankunft, Boden dreckig, man hat beim barfuss gehen sofort schwarze Füsse. Abgewohnt, Kaffeemaschine, die nichts taugt, Teller dreckig vom Vorgänger (für was zahlt man Endreinigung?), Beschichtung der Töpfe teilweise abgeplatzt, sehr gesund! Die Abzugshaube beim anfassen fettig. Kühlschrank einigermassen ok. Der Fernseher, ein unzureichendes Miniteil mit noch unzureichenderer Senderliste. 20 italienische Sender, 3 deutsche, ARD, ZDF und RTL, Bildqualität miserabel. In der heutigen Zeit dürfte Satellitenfernsehen wohl doch Standard sein. Im Urlaub nicht notwendig? Wir hatten Regentage... Das Bett, an allen Stellen Bestossungen, kein Tisch im Raum, den müsste man sich von Balkon holen. Abstellmöglichkeiten, Schränke mehr als ausreichend. Die mini Küchenzeile hat auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Handtücher, einmal pro Woche werden sie gewechselt, das sind aber dünne Lappen, also besser selbst mitbringen. Und einmal pro Woche wechseln? Naja. Bad war sauber und ok. Einmal die Woche kommt Putzpersonal, definitiv zu wenig! Die Anlage an sich, könnte einen neuen Anstrich vertragen. Frühstück: für eine volle Tasse Kaffee muss man 3 mal anstehen, da immer nur zu 1/3 gefüllt, das nervt. Auswahl: Kuchen, Kuchen und nochmals Kuchen, ein paar miese Brötchen, wenig Wurstwaren und frischer Käse, keine Tomaten, Gurken usw.. Etliche Müslis. Und abgepackte Marmelade, Nutella. Nach dem ersten Frühstück haben wir es sein lassen! Lidl ist nicht weit weg und dort kriegt man wirklich gute Brötchen und auch gute Käse-, Wurstwaren. Auch ein Bäcker ist in der Nähe. Somit, Frühstück auf dem Balkon, bei grandioser Aussicht. Aber wie gesagt, ”Ein absolut tolle Aussicht entschuldigt nicht alles!” Wenn die Anlage nicht renoviert wird, werden wir nicht wieder dort hin gehen, zumal die Preise für den gleichen Zeitraum bei *********** um 300€ gestiegen sind. Für den abgewirtschafteten Zustand, ist das eine Unverschämtheit.
