Not my first time in a doubletree Hilton but this one was rather disappointing. We arrived at the hotel at around 7pm, check in was a breeze, except that there is no porter to assist. We have many pieces of luggage but thankfully the receptionist. Jessica, helped us with the luggage before my husband was back from parking. Parking is a slight walk away and it is not very convenient. Please give the breakfast a miss. Our room came with breakfast but the breakfast was so bad! Everything was hard and cold, there wasn’t even coffee like cap or flat white available. When we asked the waiter for it, we were not informed, but the coffee charges were billed to our room charge.  Frankly, I like the room layout but the housekeeping has some room of improvement to go. Though we turned on the ‘please clean the room’ button before leaving for the day, the room wasn’t cleaned until we called when we were back. We were told that room is only cleaned upon request! (But we did request for the whole day). The receptionist who answered the call offered to change the towel only but I insisted my room to be cleaned. When the housekeeping team arrived, he only changed the towel (and forgot the main bath towel) and no vacuuming was done at all. Conditioner was off as someone may have added water to the bottle but the housekeeping team did not check and refill properly too. (307) Location is convenient, near to many nice eateries but right opposite some adult shop.

Da es Mitte der Nacht war, mussten wir einen Buzzer drücken und warten, dass jemand mit uns durch den Sprecher sprechen kann, obwohl sie entweder schliefen oder nicht gestört werden konnten, so drückte der Buzzer lange, Schließlich kam jemand über den Sprecher, der verzerrt wurde, und sie sagten mir, dass ich meinen Finger auf dem Buzz verließ, sie ließen uns rein und wieder begann er uns zu erzählen über den Buzz, wir ignorierten ihn völlig, indem er unseren Namen und wie viele Nächte wir angegeben haben Ich glaube, er hat endlich die Idee, uns einen Schlüssel und Gutscheine gegeben, um unser Frühstück zu bekommen. Wir gingen gerade zum Bett und sahen das Zimmer am Morgen. Sicherlich brauchte er dekorieren, das Bett scheint etwas nach unten gehen Kopf, da wir fühlten unsere Füße höher als unsere Kopf, die Kissen waren flach, wir hatten eine Blätter dann eine Duvet, die bessere Tage gesehen wurde und brauchte eine neue und dann eine oberen Blätter. Das Badezimmer war grundlegend, hatte eine Dusche, obwohl es einige seltsame Nasen gemacht und die Temperatur war hoch und runter, keine Schlauch im Handbecken, es gab Toiletten, die wir nie verwendet. Das Frühstück war sehr grundlegende, nur einige kalte Fleisch, kalte kochte Eier, Salat und Toast. Wenn Sie kochen wollten, mussten Sie mit Croissants, Schmerz au raisin usw. bezahlen. Rezeption Mitarbeiter während des Tages waren angenehmen und sehr hilfreich, hatte immer ein Lächeln. Das Hotel ist in der Nähe des Freibus-Services, der Katzenservice genannt wird, der Sie jederzeit auf und aus fahren können. Wir würden nochmals - Nein - es gibt viele Hotels in Perth.

Lots of the reviews here, I believe, are reviewing Mercure on Hay (the newer, more upmarket hotel and possibly better of the two although I haven’t seen it), whereas lots of reviews in Mercure Perth on Hay are referring to Mercure on Irwin. I’ve compared the photos and the hotel details and official photos are definitely that way round. SO… this one, Mercure Perth (which is on Irwin St) is the bad one. It’s awful. It’s tired, badly fitted out, dingy and I hope never to stay here again. My room was down a corridor of *****ed (and stained) carpet that made me feel nauseous to look at. The room was ok, the bed comfortable, but more stained carpet, and lots of things didn’t work. Several light bulbs were broken, lots of curtain hooks missing, the room safe didn’t work, the bath had a rusty patch in it. The aircon was too cold for me and I followed the instructions to turn up the temperature but it didn’t warm up. Two phone calls and three hours later, someone attended my room, told me the air con wasn’t adjustable as it’s one temperature for the whole building so the instructions were incorrect. He turned it off (supposedly) and I then spent my stay with no aircon although the room was still cold and not stuffy and the control panel didn’t say ‘off’ so I think the whole thing was just BS and they couldn’t be bothered to deal with it or give me another room. Staff care factor of the attendant was zero, and of the front desk staff, close to zero. I got woken up in the early hours of the morning several times by skip bins being moved around in the laneway outside (very loud chains being dropped in the skip bins and noise reverberation). The next night the fridge started making such a loud noise in the middle of the night that I had to turn it off and use the spare towels to absorb the water as it defrosted. I’m just curious why Mercure keep this one running. Perhaps it’s set at a different price range but it’s not doing their brand any favours with two Mercure hotels so close together, especially with all the reviews mixed up.

Das Beste gibt es in Perth ! super sauber, modern, Wortklasse Essen, Dienstleistungen und auch Huuuuge ****** für diejenigen, die ihr Glück versuchen wollen ‘ wunderbares Platz zu sein, sind die Preise angesichts der Qualität, die Sie hier erhalten

Stark empfehlen Sie diese Unterkunft. Willkommen von hilfsbereitem Personal, das aus ihrem Weg geht, um Sie komfortabler zu machen. Nichts ist zu schwierig für sie. Sehr saubere Zimmer mit Schalenblättern. Perfekt gekocht und präsentiert Frühstück mit einer breiten Palette von Optionen.

Große, hausgemachte Elektronik, Badewaschmaschine und Badewanne, Küchengeräte sind auch sehr vollständig, mit speziellen Büro- und Speisetisch, besonders nahe am Kings Park, gute Umgebung im Inneren und Außen

We have been commuting to Perth from the South West for appointments since moving from Fremantle so know our way around and what is good value in the area and the Pagoda in Como ticks all the boxes for us. The resort is tastfully decorated in oriental style with big well equipped and clean rooms. Although close to the freeway it is very quite due to double grazed windows. The resort is well equipped with a bar and restaurant as well as an outdoor pool and a gym. Highly recommended from me!

We stayed a few nights here due to the UniSport Nationals. The hotel was modern, breakfast was decent and cooked to your liking, and the location was perfect for what we were after. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and there are enough amenities even during holidays to keep you looked after.

Das Rendezvous kann man nicht verfehlen, dieses Hochhaus ragt von überall hervor. Das Personal an der Reception ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. WLAN funktioniert sehr gut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 19. Stock und eine schöne Aussicht auf den Pool im 10. Stock und das Meer. Zimmer ist gross und Badezimmer mit Dusche modern. Gute Pflegeprodukte, welche täglich neu bestückt werden. Beim Frühstücksbüffet ist es sehr mühsam, dass es nur eine Kaffeemaschine hat und diese auch noch sehr langsam ist. Täglich gab es Schlangen von wartenden Gästen davor. (Anscheinend hat es eine 2. Kaffeemaschine, welche nur in Betrieb genommen wird, wenn das ganze Hotel komplett voll ist). Sympathisch und hygienisch ist, dass Früchte und Joghurt, Käse und Wurst hinter Glasscheiben sind und gekühlt werden. Allerdings ist das logistisch auch nicht ganz einfach. Es gibt eine Pancake-Maschine und Donuts und auch warme Sachen. Beim Brot sollte es für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie mehr Auswahl geben und nicht nur Toastbrot in verschiedenen Varianten. Es war alles gut. Allerdings wäre eine Abwechslung vom Speisen-Angebot wünschenswert, vor allem bei einem längeren Aufenthalt!
