Equus Inn I75

Older hotel, but updated and was overall ok. Beds super comfy. Shower had low pressure. Had constant issues with internet/WiFi and cable going out constantly. Very thin walls, could hear people next door coughing and upstairs walking around. Luggage rack was broken so has no where for suitcase Free breakfast was ok. Front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming.

Good location closes to stores restaurants ect , the services , breakfast and the most important cleaning 100 % recommended ☺️

All in all, a decent stay. I would encourage the management to work with their employees in terms of their attire. I was greeted by a young college- aged student at the front desk, wearing a trendy hat, which I did not find professional. Other than his attire, he took care of me quickly and got me to my room. The property from the outside looks a little tired, and I was concerned about that, wondering if I should’ve booked something else. When I got into my room however, I found it very clean, and very comfortable, with wonderful amenities. My only drawback in the room was the showerhead, which was too short for me. Plus, those rain shower type showerheads aren’t very powerful, and this one certainly was not. I also didn’t like the juice box straw that was left under the bedsheet, but I was tired, so I overlooked it. Also, a desk light would have been a bonus. It was hard to do work from the desk without a light. The breakfast the next morning wasn’t much to write about, but it was sufficient. As I said, all in all, not a bad stay, especially if you’re operating on a budget. Would I recommend? Yes, probably, but if you want something fancier, this is not the place.

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel for a one night stay close to Highway 75. This hotel had excellent reviews. We agree. The hotel has easy parking. The doors are on the outside which may add just a bit to outside noise at night but it didn’t affect our sleep. The bed was super comfortable. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Restaurants were within an easy walk for my husband who has some mobility issues. The staff was quick to check us in even with four people ahead of us, the line moved quickly. We’d certainly stay here again on our next trip.

Exterior of the hotel doesn't look like much, but the courtyard/pool area is nice. The room interior was also decent, with new fixtures including a double sink which is a nice touch. Breakfast is OK - no fresh fruit. Overall good for the price. Oh - and if you like horse racing, you can't beat the full wall pictures of racing!

Equus Inn appears to be a renovated motel, with rooms separated from the main registration office. If I were traveling my myself, I would not feel safe because some areas near the pool and parking spots were dark (creepy). However, after driving 10 hrs, it was fine. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Giving a 2 star for staff, because the front desk clerk in the evening was a young guy who projected a 'I don't want to be here' mono-toned attitude, not helpful or friendly at all. However the front desk lady who checked us out the next morning was friendly and polite. Management - check out the videos to see the difference and provide your evening clerk customer service training.

The room was very clean and pretty comfortable, but I didn't know this was an outside access type of hotel (more like a motel). Check in person was really not very friendly. Overall it was satisfactory for a one night stay but not particularly special in any way.

It was OK. Just a quick stop while on a road trip. Breakfast was not good. English muffin in case was wet. Coffee was OK. Property next door started cutting the grass at 6:30 AM. Not the hotels fault, but it was a loud wake up and I wouldnt stay again because of this.
