Die Gäste waren so freundlich und unterkunftsfähig! Sie passen Ihren besonderen Bedürfnissen, die ein wirklich schöner Kontakt ist. Nichts war zu viel Problem für sie. Die Unterkunft war schön und unser Zimmer war erstaunlich. Rein, geräumig und hatte alle Ausstattung, die wir brauchten. Der ergänzende Prosecco war auch eine wunderschöne Geste. Die Lage ist perfekt, schöne Aussichten und eine wunderschöne Wanderung in die Stadt. Besonderes Dank für Emilia auf dem Frontbüro!

Been visiting the Falls for over 40 years and knowing the proprietors feel very disappointed to be leaving a poor review. Whilst our food was very good I have never felt so harassed during a meal !!! The female on duty in control continually pushed for our order no sooner was one course finished a staff member was dispatched to clear the table we asked for a short break between courses which we got 5 mins. My partner was still eating when the waitress tried to remove her plate. Upon clearing the second lot of lates we were asked if we would like desert again we requested a short break, upon passing the bar the previously mentioned female asked well upon receipt of our request for a break she rolled her eyes. Most unprofessional won’t be back.

Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar am Loch Melfort und gleich neben den Arduaine Gardens. Diese Parkanlage war zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes aber dauerhaft geschlossen. Wir hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer im Haupthaus ohne besonderen Ausblick. Es gibt auch Zimmer im neuen Anbau mit Blick auf die Bucht, die möglicherweise geräumiger sind. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Obwohl die Küche um 21:00 schließt und wir erst kurz vorher zum Einchecken angekommen waren, konnten wir noch eine Bestellung aufgeben und anschließend im Restaurant zu Abend essen.

Es war nicht viel in Oban verfügbar, als ich buchte. Ich war ein wenig nervös, da es als Hostel mit en suite Zimmern aufgeführt wurde, aber es war großartig. Mein Zimmer war sauber und geräumig mit Meerblick, obwohl das nicht unbedingt ein Vorteil war, da es sehr laut war, auf der Hauptstraße zu sein. Einfache Einfahrt in das Zentrum von Oban für Restaurants und Transport. Die Mitarbeiter waren besonders freundlich und hilfreich, um meine Gepäck für den Tag meiner Ankunft zu speichern, da ich früh war, und um das Gepäck in mein Zimmer zu bringen, da es keinen Aufzug gibt und die Treppen sind ziemlich stark. Ohrenschleifen sind im Halle geliefert, so dass ich vermute, dass Wochenende ziemlich laut sein kann, da es ein beliebtes pub im Keller gibt. Ich hatte keine Probleme, als ich Mitte der Woche da war.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut und der Parkplatz ist auch sehr groß. Die Landschaft ist im Gesicht zum Golf und zum Hafen wunderschön. Das Zimmer ist nicht groß, das allgemeine Gefühl ist auch alt, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hier ist sehr hoch
