We stayed in this hotel for three nights in early May. We understand it to have 22 rooms. It is a low rise building just off the seafront about 10 minutes’ walk from the Port with luggage. It is less than 5 minutes from the taxi rank and the bus station. It has an unprepossessing look but ignore this! We arrived by ferry and there were taxis meeting the ferry but whether the drivers would accept a fare for the short distance we cannot say. Arriving at the airport seemed to us to present no alternative but to take a taxi which cost €15 into town. There is said to be a bus but we could not find it. The hotel does not have any parking. There is a dedicated reception area with a soft seating area to one side and a small, dedicated breakfast room to the other. The hotel is heavily nautically themed, both in its public and private areas. We were on the first floor. Our room was well sized with a comfortable, larger than usual bed with good linen. We had a small balcony overlooking a pool area and other properties. The room suffered from a lack of sizeable, flat surfaces – some of that available was taken up with tea/coffee making kit - but there was a comfortable chair and a small table. We did not experience a great deal of noise although some was evident mainly from the corridor. The bathroom consisted of one room with a walk-in shower and WC – seemingly recently constructed. The hand-basin was outside the bathroom on a shelf with room for personal toiletries and again appeared new-ish. Housekeeping was more than acceptable although timings were erratic. Wi-Fi was OK. The whole hotel was comfortable. Aircon/heating worked well, and all the staff were friendly and the majority had good English. We could not determine if any adaptations had been made for guests with mobility problems and although we are convinced the hotel would seek to help out the very nature of the island presents a challenge. The hotel only provides breakfast but is within 5 minutes (maximum!) of various alternatives and we were able to comfortably dine each evening. Breakfast was plentiful but unimaginative. It was a self-service buffet. We were in the hotel in what was probably low season and it was not full. All services were, however, available. We believe the hotel might have crowding problems when full. The hotel is welcoming, it is sensibly priced and it is incredibly well situated – particularly for short stays – and we would highly recommend it.

Diese ganze Erfahrung war von dem Moment an magisch. Debi und Zoe waren in ihrem Engagement, uns zu helfen, sich zu lösen. Unser Zimmer war früher vorbereitet als erwartet, und die Mädchen zeigten uns Sehenswürdigkeiten und gab uns Tipps, wohin und wer sie empfehlen auf Autovermietung, Kreuzfahrten und Quad-Bike-Rent, (die alle sehr wettbewerbsfähig waren auf Preis , ehrlich und einfach zu behandeln). Es ist gut gelegen, über die Straße vom Supermarkt, nicht weit vom Hafen und in der Nähe der meisten Restaurants und Tavernen. Aufgrund von Debi sind wir aus unserer Komfortzone herausgekommen und sahen, was Milos zu einer der größten Inseln macht, um zu besuchen und zu erkunden. Das Zimmer ist so komfortable und ziemlich groß, sehr sauber. Es hatte auch große Einrichtungen wie eine Nespresso Kaffeemaschine und Kaffeebohnen, die jeden Tag ersetzt werden. Wir hatten einen Balkon auf unserem Aufenthalt und das hat Sie wirklich zu fühlen Teil des Dorfes. (Besonderes Schrei an die Dame, die unser Zimmer jeden Tag serviert Maria, für ihren wunderschönen und unauffälligen Stil )

Wir haben am Ende eines 5-wöchigen Aufenthalts in den Cyclades in den Apartments geblieben. Die Wohnung war groß und konnte 4 Personen mit einem Dreibettzimmer und einem Tagesbett in der Küche/Dinner schlafen. Die Küche war voll ausgestattet, einschließlich Kaffeemaschine, Toaster und Kettle. Außerhalb der Terrasse hatte ein Tisch mit 4 Stühlen. Jeden Morgen wurden wir mit einem kühlen Sack begrüßt, der eine erstaunliche Auswahl von Frühstücks- und Getränken enthält. Die Apartments befinden sich in einer einfachen Spazierweiterung zum Hafen und verschiedene Taverne mit Busverbindungen zu anderen Teilen der Insel. George, der uns bei der Ankunft begrüßte, war sehr professionell und sehr informativ über die Insel. Ich würde diese Eigenschaft definitiv empfehlen.

Cet hôtel bénéficie d’un bon emplacement mais mériterait d’être exploité par de vrais professionnels. A notre arrivée, la poubelle des toilettes n’avait pas été vidée et le distributeur de savon était vide. Aucune information ne nous a été donnée sur les horaires du petit déjeuner. Nous avons dû apprendre à nos dépends que la plage horaire était des plus limitée, 8 h 30 à 10 h 00. Le petit déjeuner est correct mais toujours identique, sans fruits. Et à plusieurs reprises on a tenté de nous donner des petits pots de confiture déjà entamés, ce qui interroge sur la notion d’hygiène. Toujours concernant l’accueil, la réception est toujours vide. Ce n’est qu’après 3 jours que l’on a pensé à nous donner la documentation de bienvenue de notre tour opérateur. Les chambres sont grandes, plutôt bien conçues mais la literie est horriblement dure, ce fut une torture. Nous avons eu également la joie de trouver un énorme cafard dans la salle de bain. Les poignées des portes de la chambre étaient desserrées, prêtes à tomber. J’ai dû les resserrer moi même. Les propriétaires de l’hôtel exploitent un bar juste en dessous de l’hôtel et il faut supporter jusque tard dans la nuit une exécrable musique tonitruante.
