"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig auf einem Hügel, etwas abseits vom Trubel. Ein Mietwagen ist daher empfehlenswert – sowohl für die Anreise als auch, um Milos flexibel zu erkunden. Der Blick vom Balkon/Terrasse aufs Meer ist fantastisch. Die Zimmerausstattung ist hochwertig, allerdings hätten wir uns mehr Ablageflächen gewünscht. Das Frühstück wird direkt ins Zimmer serviert, da es keinen Frühstücksraum gibt. Ab und an haben wir uns am Abend einen Cocktail gegönnt - auch das ist also möglich. Der Service war insgesamt ausgezeichnet: George hatte tolle Tipps für uns, und auch das Reinigungsteam war sehr freundlich und zuverlässig. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt im Noma Milos sehr gut gefallen. Wer es ruhig mag und wert auf ein gehobenes Zimmer legt, ist hier genau richtig."

Nos Hotel & Villas

"Our fav hotel of the trip (out of 6!)! This is a really special place and hope to return. Room = Faros the Superior - I highly recommend! ▪ Pro: • Room modern and well done with some neat design touches. Had AC that actually worked! • Our room had a great patio and plunge pool looking over the cove of Faros. I loved the view and both sun and shade loungers were so comfortable! • 5 minute walk to 3 different beaches, each with places to eat. o Note: They beaches are semi ‘scrappy’ compared to what we may be used to in the IS. ie: they aren’t maintained with someone clearing rocks/branches but are pretty in their own way. • 5 minute walk to several water front places to eat. • Neat outdoor gym! • Has a sauna at the spa! Also great food & staff! ▪ Con: • The 5-minute walk in both directions to the local beaches is a walk along a road with both nice villas and abandoned construction, so not the most picturesque. Really just saying this to list a con. • The view of the pool is slightly interrupted by a villa further down the sloop on the cliff edge. • The spa is fully outside so not something to do if the weather is bad, which is too bad bc that’s part of the glory of a spa day on vacation. Also, the Sauna is next to the treatment space so a guest can’t use the Sauna if someone is getting a treatment. They should have put it in the gym!"

Elements Sifnos Boutique

"Sifnos Elements has 6 rooms, 3 by the pool and 3 a little below. All rooms have private terraces with tables. Rodoula, the manager, is an absolute gem. She helped me coordinate my visit, the cars, breakfast, local attractions, and even offered me a late checkout when I asked if I could hang by the pool for a little while. A+ hospitality My room was clean and modern, with a very comfortable bed. I was able to mostly block out the light, and slept like a rock every night. Super quiet - just the wind :) The breakfast is amazing! There’s a full menu, which you can call or WhatsApp text in advance, along with the time you’d like to eat. Other than breakfast, there’s a few “light bites”, wine and beer available later in the day. I did rent a car for a day and coordinated a pickup from the ferry. The process was very easy - I emailed in advance and voila. The cars are in great shape and very clean. You pick up and return at the hotel (you’ll need to fill up before returning, but there’s a gas station about 10 minutes away). I am a very confident driver and had no issues - the roads are well marked and in great shape unless you get really off the main areas. My google maps worked perfectly everywhere I drove, and the other drivers are polite. A warning (although what follows is part of why I picked Sifnos, so I don’t think it’s a negative, but just FYI). The hotel is a little isolated - it’s not in a town or village. There is no “restaurant” at or near the hotel. If you arrive late and aren’t renting a car, pick something up in the port or bring dinner. I ended up eating the cheese plate for dinner (which I love so no complaints - my ideal dinner actually) but if you’re expecting a full meal, make sure you coordinate a car. There are taxis on the island but not many, so I’m not sure how their availability is. That said, there is a very well maintained path to Faros, which has a beautiful beach and some great restaurants. I would suggest sneakers, and there is some elevation, but the path has shallow steps (NOT ideal for a baby stroller etc) and brings you right to the beach. Maybe 20 minutes? I had diner in Faros and walk back up in the dark - I brought a flashlight with me, and I would not recommend walking back at night without one. Excellent stay and I’ll be back! As an FYI, I traveled as a solo female traveler and felt very safe. I didn’t see much of the other guests, so if you’re looking to make friends, head to the bars in Faros! "We arrived early on the day of check in but the owner let us leave our bags at reception and he called the car rental company to drop off a car for us. We connected via What’s App and he let us know when our room was ready. They hand deliver breakfast to you every morning in a cute basket with a ton of food. Very delicious! He also gave us giant bottles of water everyday, which you need on the island since the water is not potable. There was one evening we accidentally locked ourselves out of our room and he came by to let us in. Very kind!! He gave us recommendations for food and beaches and always made sure we had everything we needed. The cleaning staff even room our wet laundry out to dry. Definitely would recommend staying here if you rent a car or transportation. It is not walkable to the port or any nearby city or beach but a great quiet place to stay. "

"Nach 5 Wochen Reisen in Europa fühlten wir uns, dass Viva Vivere während unserer Reise den besten Service bietet. Aris Gastfreundschaft und lokales Wissen und Beratung maximierten unsere Milos-Erfahrung. Nur 10 Gehminuten von den Restaurants Plakas entfernt bietet die Unterkunft geräumige, sauberes Wohnzimmer, Klimaanlage und Tauchpool, die uns bei unserer Rückkehr von täglichen Strandbesuche begrüßten. Dauerlich traditionelle griechische Frühstücken waren gekostet und reichhaltig. Vielen Dank, Ari, für die erhebliche Verbesserung unserer griechischen Insel-Abenteuer!"

"Wir lieben Ihr Hotel, das welkomische und sehr freundliche Personal sehr bequem, das Hotel ist sauber und privat mit erstaunlicher Aussicht und wach bis zu einem schönen Sonnenaufgang hier ist sehr speziell, der Pool ist erstaunlich, die Lage ist perfekt, 5 Minuten Fahrt zum Strand Sarakiniko (Sie können es vom Balkon sehen), etwa 7 Minuten Fahrt zum Adamantas und Plaka. Das Frühstück war so frisch und lecker an Ihr Zimmer täglich geliefert, um auf dem Balkon mit schöner Aussicht zu haben. Es war sehr entspannend und nur, warum wir es brauchten. Würde sehr empfehlen und würde zurückkommen und wieder in Ventus di Milo bleiben."

"Unser Aufenthalt in Garifalakis Comfort Rooms war viel mehr als ein Hotel-Stadt, es war eine Erfahrung, die es fühlte, als in eine Familie willkommen. Auch vor unserer Ankunft in Milos ging Sophie oben und weiter, um uns zu helfen, unsere Reise zu planen. Die Reise mit einer Familie von neun kommt mit viel Logistik, und sie beantwortete mit Geduld alle unsere Fragen, angebotene Empfehlungen und half uns, unseren Weg zu organisieren. Seine Freundlichkeit und Reaktion macht uns sofort erleichtert. Als wir an den Hafen kamen, warten Sophie und ihr Bruder Adonis auf uns, und von diesem Moment an begann unser Milos-Abenteuer auf der perfekten Notiz. Nach der Ankunft im Hotel begrüßte Nektaria uns mit dem warmsten Hut, sodass wir uns sofort zu Hause fühlen. Im gesamten Aufenthalt ging sie ständig oben und weiter, um sicherzustellen, dass alle Details betreut und dass unsere Familie komfortabel und glücklich war. Was wirklich diesen Ort voneinander abhält, ist die echte Gastfreundschaft. Wir wurden eingeladen, Wein mit der Familie zu teilen, einen wunderbaren Abend zu verbringen, chat und mehr über die griechische Kultur und das Leben auf der Insel zu lernen. Es war einer der Highlights unserer Reise und etwas, das wir immer erinnern werden. Das süßeste Geste war, als sie einen überraschenden Geburtstag für meinen 70. Geburtstag meiner Mutter organisierten. Es war gedankenvoll, persönlich und völlig unerwartet. Ihre Wärme, Großzügigkeit und Aufmerksamkeit auf die Details haben unsere Erfahrung auf ein anderes Niveau erhöht. Die Familie Garifalakis präsentiert das Beste der griechischen Gastfreundschaft. Sie haben nicht nur Unterkunft geliefert, sie haben Erinnerungen geschaffen, die bei uns ewig bleiben werden. Wenn Sie Milos besuchen und einen Ort suchen, wo Sie als Familie und nicht als Gast behandelt werden, kann ich Garifalakis Comfort Zimmer nicht hoch genug empfehlen. "Such a special place in a great location near the port, but very private. A 10 minute walk to either a beach or downtown restaurants & shopping. It was nice to have a car to explore the island for a day or two, but not needed to get around this Port area. Staff could not have been more helpful - anything we needed for the room or transportation was handled immediately. Front desk was amazing! Pool area was lovely & welcomed after a busy day. The only drawback was the bar - although poolside & pretty, they were quite frugal with their 'pours' and yet expensive. BYOB perhaps? We were in the suites, so instead of a buffet, we were able to order anything we wanted for breakfast. That was the best, homemade fresh food enjoyed on our terrace with an oceanview! We would definitely return to this pretty place."
