We were snowmobiling around Quebec Dan Road extra miles. Just so we could stay there and use the spa. When we get there that night, we were so excited to jump in the hot tub and sauna but they informed us that someone was renting it and we could not use it. If we had known, we would have not driven the extra 60 miles on our snowmobile just to stay there and use it. To say we were disappointed is an incredible statement. We had to leave early the next morning so we could not even use it because they said we could not get in till 10 o’clock, but had to check out by 11 o’clock. This was the second time this has happened to us.

No breakfast options, restaurant was closed for the season. (We checked in end of August)
Sink was clogged and dishes were still wet in the cupboards. Had to wash them all.

It is an immersion in the natural environment of Lac St. Jean. Very nice chalets, with apar**ents well equipped. A SPA is there too in this complex. An important note: the restaurant on site is open just three days of the week. Better to come with some food to store in the fridge, at least for breakfast.

What a disappoin**ent this place has been for our family. Obviously, it is poorly maintained and everything in this place is cheap: the faucets are all broken, the convertible couch has a plastic surface, which is peeling off and leaving pieces all over the unit. The spa is so completely overpriced (even for guest after discount). The bed sheets are awfully cheap... Stay away!

I have being all around the world and this was the worse reception ever. Reception is closes at 5pm and they only speak French. They charge $30 extra per person for the hot tub and under 18 is not allowed. Swimming pool was drained and Sauna was locked. Wifi was on and off. The only restaurant that delivers here only speak French. It was clean and quiet, but I would NOT recommend this place for anyone. The reception would not provide me extra coffee and all they did was argue.

We stayed at a spacious 3-bedroom chalet right next to the Lac Saint-Jean. The kitchen is well equipped with all the utensils you need for cooking. The closest supermarket is a fair 10-15 minute drive away, so make sure you have everything you need before making yourselves comfortable. The double beds are slightly narrow for two, and the chalet we stayed in only had one shared bathroom/toilet for the six of us. Just a few steps away and you can stroll along the beach of Lac Saint-Jean in very peaceful surroundings.
