Einfach vom Flughafen zu erreichen, wir haben gerade auf dem #6 Stadtbus gesprang, und es gibt einen Bushalte direkt vor dem Grundstück. Stadtbusse sind sauber, und billig, Ich denke es war etwa 5€ oder so, und dauert etwa 35 Minuten. Einchecken war wirklich reibungslos. Der Ort ist spotless, der Kundenservice ist sehr gut, sie haben uns in einen kleinen Bungalow direkt neben dem Strand upgraded. Wir wurden von einem Golfwagen, der schön war. Die Unterkunft war sauber, und neue, schöne Bett, angemessen Badezimmer, es ist ein wenig klein, aber hat eine Dusche, keine Tube. Echt schöne Deckfläche Kaffee zu haben und zu hören auf den Ozean. Das Zimmer verfügt über einen kleinen Kühlschrank, einen sicheren, anständigen Kleidungsraum, einen kleinen Sofa, Queensgröße Bett, großes TV und großes WiFi. Wir haben überall auf der Website WiFi verfügbar. Wir haben für das Frühstückspaket gewählt, das eigentlich sehr nett war. Buffet-Stil, aber buchstäblich Dutzende von Optionen. Frische Früchte, Brot, Käse, Joghurt, Getreide, viele heiße Gerichte, Sie werden nicht hungrig gehen. Wir hatten auch einen formellen sitzend schönen Abendessen, das auch sehr schön war. Wir haben keine der Einrichtungen vor Ort wirklich genutzt, aber wir haben uns einen Tag für ein paar Stunden am Pool gehängt. Obwohl es scheint, es waren viele Leute noch viele Lounges verfügbar. Der Pool sah wirklich schön aus, nur wenige Leute verwendeten es. Strandbereich hat auch Lounges und Schaum für den kostenlosen Gebrauch. Sehr schöner Sand und schlanker Strand, groß für Kinder, aber es wird windig, so beachten Sie das. Eindrucksvolle Menge Raucher kann eine stabile Versorgung mit Zigarettenbutten in den Sand auf allen Stränden, die wir besucht haben. Art von Brutto, aber scheint das eine europäische Sache? Ich würde leicht re.mend diesen Ort, weil es wirklich sauber war, Lebensmittel war schön, leicht zu erreichen, viele von der Website Essen, Geschenkshops, Bakeries, Gemüsegeschäfte, und Autovermietung Orte innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu Fuß.

Im Prinzip ein schönes Familien-Hotel. Gut organisiert und freundlich. Der Garten und die Pflanzen sind das Highlight des Hotels und schaffen Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre. ABER: Abgewohnt und dringender Renovierungsbedarf der Bäder und der Bestuhlung im Restaurant-Bereich. Der Pool und der Strand sind sehr schön. Mit Sonnen- und Schatten-Plätzen (sofern nicht reserviert). Durch den zusätzlich getrennten Kleinkinder-Bereich im Hotel war am Strand auch eher ruhig. Das Meer war super klar und warm, aber Vorsicht, große Steine im Brandungs-Bereich als „Erosions-Schutz“. Es gibt ausreichend saubere Toiletten und Duschen auch in Strand/Pool-Nähe. Das Essen am Buffet ist gut und reichlichen (lauwarm) und für jeden ist etwas dabei. Sowohl für Kinder, als auch Menschen mit Allergien oder Intoleranzen. Es gibt auch landestypische Spezialitäten und es wird ständig nachgefüllt. Das Speisenangebot ist aber eher auf Quantität und Familien mit Kindern ausgerichtet. (Schafskäse und der griechischen Joghurt waren so lecker – ich hätte mich reinlegen können) Durch Themenabende kommt Abwechslung ins Buffet. Alles Prima. ACHTUNG: bei Halbpension müssen die Tischgetränke extra bezahlt werden (war mir so nicht klar bei Buchung, stand im Kleingedruckten irgendwo). Das Hotel liegt so ziemlich am Ende der Amoudara Bucht. Es kommt noch ein Hotel und dann ein Kraftwerk. Ja, man sieht die Schornsteine des Kraftwerkes, aber man vergisst sie auch gleich wieder. Der Hotel-Shop ist vielseitig sortiert. Mit allem was man so kurzfristig braucht oder vergessen hat. Auch gekühlte Getränke, Keks, Zeitungen, von Zahnpasta bis Badelatschen… Die Busverbindung zur Einkaufs-Meile und nach Heraklion klappt gut und ist nicht teuer. Die Bushaltestelle liegt direkt vorm Hotel-Areal an der Straße, bis zur Einkaufsmeile noch ca. 2 km, nach Heraklion ca. 15 km (dauert 30 min) alle 20 min kommt ein Bus in beide Richtungen. ABER: Ich hatte sehr kurzfristig Kurzurlaub gebucht und es waren nur noch Low-Cost Zimmer verfügbar. KEIN Low-Cost-Zimmer buchen! Das Zimmer lag im Nebengebäude-Trackt gegenüber des Hoteleinganges /Rezeption. Es war laut. Von früh morgens bis spät abends reger Publikums-Verkehr von ankommenden oder abreisenden Gästen und Bussen, oder Gästen, die mit Bus unterwegs waren und zurückkamen. Die Animation des Nachbar-Hotels war so laut, als wären wir live dabei gewesen. Eine Animation in unserem Hotel fand nur bedingt statt aufgrund Corona-Beschränkungen. Zweites Zimmer-Manko: nur über Aussen-Treppen zu erreichen, nicht geeignet für viele Koffer, alte oder kranke Menschen. Drittes Zimmer-Manko: Das Bad, um die Badewanne war eklig schimmlig. Das ist einem 4-Sterne-Hotel nicht würdig. Ich habe Bilder angefügt. Bei unserer Ankunft, bat ich an der Rezeption um ein anders Zimmer. Mir wurde eines angeboten im selben „Low-Cost-Komplex“ aber im Erdgeschoss – das wäre eher ein „downgrade“ gewesen und da wir nur 4 Tage blieben, war es uns dann zu viel Action mit einem Zimmertausch.

An einem Berghang liegende, aus 3 Gebäuden bestehende Anlage. Vom Balkon unseres Zimmers hatten wir einen phantasischen Blick auf den Hafen, das Meer und die Stadt. Während unseres Aufenthaltes in dieser sehr freundlichen Stadt haben wir nichts Besseres gesehen. Unser Zimmer war sehr freundlich gestaltet und auch angemessen groß. Sehr freundlich war auch das Personal. Wir wurden sehr gut behandelt und insbesondere der Chef war sehr kompetent und hilfsbereit. Ihm verdanken wir auch viele gute Tipps. Einziger Nachteil: das recht gute swimming-pool war leider noch nicht geöffnet. Grund dafür dürfte gewesen sein, dass zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuches wenige Ausländer hier waren - es war nämlich noch Vor-Saison (Mai 2022) Trotzdem: Wir würden bei einen weiteren Besuch in dieser freundlichen Stadt sicher hier wieder Gäste sein.

The hotel is strategically located within walls of old city between the beach of Ammoudara and the main attractions, not so far from them. Hotel is re-innovated 7 floor building. Rooms are not large, but but enough for the convenient accommodation. The room has the safe, TV, several chairs, table and the wardrobe, electric kettle, air conditioner. There is quite large balcony with two beach chairs and the small table and also drying hanger for the clothes. Unfortunately there is quite a lot of dust in the air from street, so everything gets dusty very quickly. The room has electric sockets next to the beds and two other sockets, one of them with USB port. The personnel speaks English and very friendly and helpful. The avenue Kalokerinou named after the discoverer of the Knossos Palace is quite busy road so it is nicer to live on higher floors. There is a restaurant serving good continental breakfast. There is omelette, ham, cheese, Greek yogurt, flakes, fruits, on the menu. Just 70 meters from the hotel there is Bazaar and in 200 m is Chalkiadakis supermarket, Lidl in 800 m outside of the city walls. All closed on Sundays. The avenue Kalokerinou has several street food places, and if you walk 400 m to Morosini Lions Fountain you can find even more restaurants there. Heraklion has a problem with great beaches, but in 500 m from the hotel there is a Dermatos Bay, where is a wild beach where one can deep into the sea. The proper beach is in Ammoudara in 2.2 km from the hotel. There is another beach in 1 km in front of Talos Plaza shopping mall, but it is rocky and no sunbeds or lifeguard. Another place to swim is the port mole starting from the Kules fortress in 1.2 km. The mole protects from high waves when it is windy and other places are not suitable for swimming.
