Harvington House

My partner and I were visiting from Australia and stayed here during our honeymoon. Great location, fantastic host and amazing breakfast. Graham and his partner, our hosts, were very helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best is could be. The room was cosy and comfortable, with a decent view of the mountains. Highly recommended and would certainly stay again.

My mother stayed there whilst we were camping. She loved it and felt like she was treated like a member of the family. Gina and Graham were amazing and couldn't do enough for her. Absolutely amazing place to stay. Very clean, excellent breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This guesthouse is amazing. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Keswick. There can’t be many hosts who are as exceptional as Graham & Gina. They are so welcoming and love sharing information about the locality that will make your stay so rewarding. The guesthouse is beautiful and well situated for a pleasant stroll into the town centre. The rooms are immaculate and clean. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious and in fact, the best I’ve ever eaten whilst staying in a B&B. Thank you so much - I will definitely be back!

Lovely B&B in a convenient location close to all amenities of the beautiful town of Keswick. Our hosts, Graham and Tina were welcoming and friendly, giving great tips on the area to visit during our stay. Breakfast was exceptional. Many locally sourced products, cooked to perfection. Our room was compact, yet was comfortable and very clean. We could not find fault in this lovely place, at all. Thank you for looking after us!

This guest house is very close to the centre of the town with on street parking. The guest house is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Graham and Gina are both very friendly and welcoming and are able to provide lots of good advice on local walks and places to eat. An excellent breakfast is provided that will set you up for the day. I would certainly recommend Harvington House as a place to stay when visiting Keswick.

*Actually stayed in 2021 - very late review* My partner and I stayed with Gina and Graham for a few nights and it was a wonderful experience - so good we had to come back for the review after so long. They were extremely lovely, friendly and welcoming, and very knowledgeable of the area giving us many recommendations for food, walks, and things to do which suited our interests. The room was lovely and very clean with a nice view of Skiddaw, we found it very cosy. The breakfast was always delicious with many options, and with the pleasure of a chat at the same time. Definitely helped us get up some big hills. We would absolutely recommend anyone and would love to come back in future.

I have stayed in lots of hotels over the years for my walking trips in the lakes, we were met by Graham on Friday afternoon and instantly felt like we'd met up with an old friend. He was very attentive, full of local advice and more importantly stories. Lovely guy, room was compact but had everything we needed after a day on the hills. Breakfast was lovely both days. And a 5 minute hobble into town. Will 100% be staying there again.

This will be my first choice for a Keswick stay from now on. Graham and Gina are the most friendly and helpful hosts. Comfortable accommodation, clean with everything needed available. A breakfast with the best tasty ingredients served on a warm plate and a nice pot of tea. If this was Four in a Bed the winning placard would go to Harvington. I will be back.

We have just retuned after a wonderful weekend with my wife,son & daughter in law. Rooms were immaculate and very clean and the breakfasts were amazing with locally sourced produce. The host Graham was fantastic, very friendly and welcoming. His knowledge of the local walks, hostelries and restaurants was amazing. A superb weekend highly recommended thank you Graham & Gina
