We had a visit this weekend to Guimaras. We do not have plans but we would like to roam around the city, try their mangoes and do island hopping, + The host is responsive and very accommodating. They are from Czech Republic and have so much stories as they were in the island for quite some time now. Since we do not have plans, he recommended a bankero and ate Juvi who is working for him has also offered transport so we can roam around the city. It's not mango season so we were not able to try their mangoes. Manggahan Festival according to the owner starts on May. If you want a quiet place and you want to relax and be disconnected from outside world, this is the best location. - When we arrive we could not connect to Wifi. There is no globe/smart signal so we were out of touch to our families and friends. According to the owner they have wifi but there was a problem with the carrier. Day 2, he said wifi is restored. Yes we were able to send few messages but that's it. The signal is still weak. You will not be able to watch videos etc. - Water is from deep well. The color is yellowish and hot water won't activate because the flow of water is weak too. For drinking, they provide mineral water so no issue here. - The house is located in front of the beach. But beach is not swimmable.
