I arrived with my septuagenarian parents on April 27 for a week-long stay. The hotel provided us with the right room classification on arrival, but I was concerned that the suite was single bathroom instead of two and the closet space was not optimal for our needs. Annamaria, Victoria and Samuele stand out as front office staff who listened and acted swiftly to help address our request for help and resolved the issue the next day. That was the first wow moment of our stay. I also recommend the breakfast (came with our reservation package) and you should take advantage of the Rooftop Bar, the view of the Duomo and across the city 360 degress is suberb. After 10+ visits to Florence, this hotel has become my new preferred location and I anticipate returning here in the years to come.

Dieses Hotel war fantastisch. Das war ein kleines Hotel, das seinen Gästen so viel bietet. Wir blieben hier für 6 Tage, so buchten wir eine Suite. Das Zimmer war groß mit viel Schlaf- und Sitzzimmer, sowie ein großer Schrankraum und ein schönes Badezimmer. Der Konzern war großartig. Der Konzern hielt uns mit Reiseplänen, der Organisation eines großen Tourführers und der Erstellung großer Empfehlungen für das Abendessen. Frühstück war jeden Tag großartig mit guten Wahlen und wunderbarer Service. Wir waren in einer tollen Lage - in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und des Duomo. Wir genossen, Billard zu spielen und am Abend bei der Bar zu trinken. Das wird das Hotel sein, das wir buchen werden, wenn wir nach Florenz zurückkehren. Alles war großartig.

Waren „nur“ zum Mittagessen und Aperitif hier; edle Aufmache, Essen war in Ordnung, Bedienung ebenso. Gesalzene Preise, wie man es erwarten kann. Immerhin gibts dann zum Aperitivo einen hochwertigen Snack. Das Hotel macht aber einen sehr chiquen Eindruck, würde ich mal ausprobieren bei entsprechendem Budget.

Das Hotel liegt 10 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Da sich Florence SMN in der Altstadt befindet, wird empfohlen, ein Taxi zu nehmen, wenn Sie die Box schieben. Zwischen 7-9 Euro. Ich habe diese Hotelbewertungen zu lange und zu klein überprüft. Patio Zimmer und so weiter. Korrigieren Sie es hier. Erstens ist das Hotel ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel der Leading Hotels Group. Zweitens ist das Hotelhaus selbst ein historisches Gebäude. Mehr als zweihundert Jahre Geschichte. Drittens wurde das Hotel gerade im Jahr 2019 renoviert. Einige Zimmer auf Ctrip werden derzeit nicht aktualisiert. Viertens ist Lu an der Tür des Hotels, Cartier ist gegenüber, BV, Bulgari, GUCCI sind daneben. Gehen Sie zwei Minuten zum Platz der Republik. Zehn Minuten nach Vecchio. Tolle Lage. Fünftens verdient der Hotelservice wirklich fünf Sterne. Lächle für immer, lustig, biete kostenlose Getränke bei der Ankunft an, Portier an der Tür ergreift immer die Initiative, um Gepäck zu tragen und direkt auf dein Zimmer zu liefern. Stellen Sie die Umgebung sorgfältig vor und stellen Sie chinesische Karten und eine Einführung in Florenz zur Verfügung. Sechstens ist die Dekoration des Hotels sehr geschmackvoll. Natürlich sind die Gemälde und Statuen in einem mehr als zweihundert Jahre alten Gebäude Antiquitäten. Und viele Hotels in Italien und sogar Fünf-Sterne-Hotels in Europa sind kleine Zimmer in historischen Gebäuden. Die derzeitige Fläche in einem Barockgebäude ist wirklich nicht klein. Achtens ist das Hotel ein Zick-Zack-Gebäude, daher ist das Fenster im mittleren Raum eine sogenannte ”Terrasse”. Wenn es Ihnen nicht gefällt, sollten Sie es im Voraus anpassen. Neuntens sind die Toilettenartikel im Zimmer wirklich luxuriös. . Und es gibt Hausschuhe und Wärmflaschen, die die Chinesen im Zimmer mögen. ”Zehntens sind die Handtücher im Badezimmer allesamt neue Baumwollhandtücher. Ich möchte nicht, dass solche Handtücher schon lange verwendet werden. Und es gibt ein kleines Detail, an dem die Wasserleitung hängt. Es sollte vom Hotel speziell entworfen werden. Das heiße Wasser ist sehr heiß. Wenn die Kleidung oben aufgehängt ist, kann es am nächsten Tag getrocknet werden. Das heißt, das Hotel hat keine Werbung gemacht. Es wird in Zukunft ein rotes Netzhotel.

Very good and charismatic place right in the middle of everything in Florence: shops, museums and restaurants, you can get anywhere within few minutes of walking. The front desk in very limited time arranged for us a short (we stayed 4 nights only), but not easy to execute program including a day in Chianti with 2 private winery visits (wineries from my list) and provided us with plenty restaurant recommendations. Which truth be told turned out to be better than couple of restaurants we found ourselves searching and reading reviews. The minuses. We were staying in a suite on the 2nd floor, which in Vecchietti is actually quite high due to high ceilings on each floor. The windows were to a side street and upon arrival we were assured that the windows are soundproof. But every night we were woken-up several times first by various partygoers returning back to the hotels/apartments and next by communal services collecting the garbage. The shower is tiny, has stone tiles floor and a big window that saw better times, which is letting in plenty of air from the outside. Even sitting on the toilet, which is located next to the shower door, (excuse me for details) one can feel cold air blowing from the shower door, which can’t be closed completely. On top of that one of the maids always found it a good idea to leave that window open for the whole day after leaving the room doing the cleaning. This being in November already. So, going into that shower was an ordeal every time.

Das Hotel eignet sich als idealer Ausgangspunkt um die Stadt mit ihren vielseitigen Angeboten zu erkunden. Zentraler, mitten im Leben, geht es nicht in Florenz. Nach einer aufwendigen Renovierung des gesamten Gebäudes ist das Hotel noch schöner geworden. Die öffentlichen Bereiche und die Gästezimmer bestechen durch ein helles und freundliches Design, wie man es aus anderen Hotels der Rocco Forte Gruppe kennt. Hochwertige Inneneinrichtungen, geschmackvoll arrangiert, wie man es von einem Hotel der höchsten Kategorie erwartet. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Zimmer und Suiten sind, wie gesagt äußerst geschmackvoll und eingerichtet und mit sämtlichem Komfort ausgestattet. Die Bäder entsprechen höchsten Erwartungen. Marmor ist da eine Selbstverständlichkeit, genau wie Handtücher mit den Monogrammen der Gäste. Die Größe der Zimmer ist jedoch zu beachten. Die kleinsten Zimmer messen knapp 30 Quadra**eter. Für manchen Reisenden dürfte das ein bisschen wenig sein. Die bessere Entscheidung ist zweifellos, auf eines der größeren Zimmer auszuweichen. Alle Zimmer sind mit neuester Technik ausgestattet. Auch in den öffentlichen Bereichen präsentiert sich das Rocco Forte Savoy, wie es sich für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie gehört und bietet anspruchsvollen Gästen alles was sie erwarten. Hervorzuheben ist dabei das Restaurant das sich als modernes Bistro präsentiert – mit Außenplätzen direkt an der Piazza. Mit dem exzellentem Angebot und der Qualität der Speisen, gehört es zu den angesagtesten Plätzen in Florenz. Sehen und gesehen werden, hier das Motto offenbar, direkt am Piazza Republica inmitten von Florenz. Ob draußen oder drinnen, dort wird auch das Frühstück serviert. Auch das überzeugt durch sein reichhaltiges Angebot. Besonders auf Bioprodukte wird hier Wert gelegt – wie in allen Rocco Forte Hotels. Motivation und Servicebereitschaft sind im Savoy mehr als gegeben. Das gilt durchweg für alle Beschäftigten – ein wunderbares Team. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis entspricht auch im Rocco Forte Savoy den übrigen 5-Sterne-Hotels in Florenz. Das ist ein schönes, sauberes Hotel mit guten Einrichtungen und Lage und einem ausgezeichneten Frühstück. Es hat eine sehr traditionelle Dekoration, mit einem modernen Badezimmer. Unser Zimmer war genügend angenehm, aber das Fenster sah eine Wand an und hatte riesige Schließfächer, die wir nicht öffnen konnten. Daher war im Zimmer kaum natürliches Licht. Ich fand auch das Personal etwas unfreundlich, vor allem auf dem Rezeption. Es gab keinen Grüß, wenn Sie vorbei gingen, und sie scheinen etwas konservative - nicht die übliche Freundlichkeit, die Sie auf einem Rezeption erwartet hätten. Das Frühstückspersonal war viel schöner. Ich mag dieses Hotel, aber ein wenig Freundlichkeit und ein Lächeln gehen eine lange Straße und hätte unseren Aufenthalt verbessert.

Die Lage des Zimmers ist gut, im Stadtgebiet kann das Zimmer als großes, sehr schönes Hotel angesehen werden! Die Lobby des Hotels ist sehr stilvoll. Das Frühstücksumfeld ist auch gut! Die Aufteilung des Zimmers, eine dreiköpfige Familie, wird während des Aufenthalts nicht überfüllt sein! Das Kinderbett befindet sich auf der anderen Seite des Raumes. Guter Platz, drei Koffer fühlen sich nicht zu voll an! Das Badezimmer ist nicht klein, das Duschbad ist sehr interessant, es ist flexibel und versenkbar! Die Klimaanlage des Hotels ist etwas heiß und die Klimaanlage ist ausgeschaltet, aber es fühlt sich immer noch etwas heiß an! Alles andere ist in Ordnung! Sehr kostengünstiges Hotel.

I loved this quirky old hotel. It is old fashioned in the best possible sense; very well situated close to the train station, the Duomo and the centre of Florence - so a perfect location for shopping and sightseeing. The rooms could do with some refurbishment but are air conditioned, kept very clean, and everything works. Doubles are generous in size, single rooms are small. Breakfast is continental with cheese, ham, muesli, croissants, cake, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and detox water. Most importantly, the staff here were unfailingly courteous and helpful. They really could not do enough for us, from letting me borrow an adapter, to recommending excursions, booking taxis, and accommodating a late check out. There are trendier, more modern hotels in the area, but that is reflected in the price - you get what you pay for.

Charge 70 euro late check-in fee!!! I did my online check-in 2 days prior to arrival & received an email advising me there would be a late check-in fee. I replied advising this was disappointing as I would have booked a different hotel had I known this at time of booking, but did not receive a reply. I paid for my taxi before at 1.50am and checked into the hotel by 2am. Upon arrival there was 1 man at the hotel, I was just given my room key and shown to my room. There was no mention of sorting out a payment the following morning, and if I was told this, I would have sorted it out there and then as I was not tired at the time or if I had a response to my email I would have stayed with my friends on the first night even though I had already paid for my room. The next morning when I went to reception and they did not say anything about my check-in or outstanding payment as I had paid in full at time of booking. On the last night I didn't get any fresh towels or toiletries. When I checked out, the lady at reception told me to pay 70 euro for late check-in. I said the fee was unreasonable since I advised the hotel I'd be arriving around midnight at time of booking and was not told about the fee till 2 days prior to arrival after doing the online check-in which did not disclose the fee either, she started mumbling rude remarks under her breath in Italian when I asked her to show me the fee on their website/ time of booking and she showed me the reception opening hours on their website but was not able to show me the fee anywhere. She insisted this was normal, I said I work for a hotel and it most certainly is not normal to charge a 70 euro late check-in fee when the hotel doesn't have after hours check-in procedures in place. Otherwise they should have a disclosure on the website advising that there is a late check-in fee after hours, but they do not. They just say check-in is available until 13:00. My friends stayed across the road in a stunning boutique hotel and were given an access code with keys to access their room and did not pay a late check-in fee. I explained that we have a safe for people to access keys after hours and we don't charge a late check-in fee either. I was saying the fee is not advertised anywhere and I wanted to see it in writing before I paid anything. She then said they pay 10 euro per hour for someone to stay back and check me in, now they are saying they pay 17.50 euro an hour. I said if I had known this I would have booked a different hotel or stayed with my friends for the first night, even though I had already paid for the room in full at time of booking. I said I was happy to pay 10 euro per hour from 11pm when reception closed to 2am, when I checked in, not 3am that they made up, because of a delayed flight, but was not paying the unreasonable fee of 70 euro, so she told me to take it up with the airline. She then got her colleague to tell me it was 45 euro till midnight and 75 euro after midnight and kept mumbling rud

Wir hatten wohl nicht das schönste Zimmer im Hotel mit einem etwas merkwürdigen Fenster über der Tür. Das Zimmer selber war ruhig und sauber und wir haben uns trotzdem wohl gefühlt. Highlight im Zimmer war das tolle Deckengemälde. Zudem war der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und das Burchianti liegt zentral im Zentrum und unweit von Bahnhof und der Station Unita.

First off our triple room didn't look like the picture but worse was that it had a sewage smell. When I spoke to the front desk they said nothing could be done that day however they could change our room the following day before 2pm. When I went back the same individual gave me a hard time saying it was too late the rooms were cleaned etc. I persisted with what he told me the day before and then with agitation asked what was wrong with the room. I told him it was the sewage smell, he asked in Italian one of the staff if it was true and she confirmed in Italian that it was defiantly smelly. Needless to say I understand Italian but did not lead on. He stated there was a room available but much smaller. The female took us up to see the room and we agreed to change as room did not smell. I did not question him on the difference in price as he was so unapproachable. We learned latter that day that the air conditioning did not work, so we had to keep the window open through the entire time. Needless to say that it was very noisy as the room back into the alley way. I WOULD ALSO like to say the breakfast was poor selection however the gentleman that worked there was very efficient in keeping the cappuccinos going and cleaning up the tables to make room for all to sit. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS HOTEL AND WILL ADVISE EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO GO THERE. WE SPENT SO MUCH MONEY FOR THIS PLACE, I FEEL WE WERE ROBBED.

Meine Tochter blieb letztes Wochenende im Hotel Romagna. Sie hat den Zugplan falsch beurteilt und das Personal war sehr hilfreich bei der Sicherung einer neuen Buchung. Es dauerte viel an ihrer Seite, durch die Zugpläne zu schauen, um die Zeit zu finden, die arbeitete. Erstaunliche Aussicht auf The Duomo aus ihrem Zimmer auch! Danke!

On the last night I didn't get any fresh towels or toiletries. When I checked out, the lady at reception told me to pay 70 euro for late check-in. I said the fee was unreasonable since I advised the hotel I'd be arriving around midnight at time of booking and was not told about the fee till 2 days prior to arrival after doing the online check-in which did not disclose the fee either, she started mumbling rude remarks under her breath in Italian when I asked her to show me the fee on their website/ time of booking and she showed me the reception opening hours on their website but was not able to show me the fee anywhere. She insisted this was normal, I said I work for a hotel and it most certainly is not normal to charge a 70 euro late check-in fee when the hotel doesn't have after hours check-in procedures in place. Otherwise they should have a disclosure on the website advising that there is a late check-in fee after hours, but they do not. They just say check-in is available until 13:00. My friends stayed across the road in a stunning boutique hotel and were given an access code with keys to access their room and did not pay a late check-in fee. I explained that we have a safe for people to access keys after hours and we don't charge a late check-in fee either. I was saying the fee is not advertised anywhere and I wanted to see it in writing before I paid anything. She then said they pay 10 euro per hour for someone to stay back and check me in, now they are saying they pay 17.50 euro an hour. I said if I had known this I would have booked a different hotel or stayed with my friends for the first night, even though I had already paid for the room in full at time of booking. I said I was happy to pay 10 euro per hour from 11pm when reception closed to 2am, when I checked in, not 3am that they made up, because of a delayed flight, but was not paying the unreasonable fee of 70 euro, so she told me to take it up with the airline. She then got her colleague to tell me it was 45 euro till midnight and 75 euro after midnight and kept mumbling rud
