Not too sure what to expect, even though the reviews were all positive. As others ha e mentioned, common areas and rooms are all furnished in quality mainly antique furniture, collected by the owner on his travels. The rooms have very comfortable beds, hot water for the shower and polite and attentive staff. We booked 3 rooms for our family and all were of a good quality, far better than others we have stayed in that cost far more. When we are in the area again we will definitely stay again.

We (1 x Australian male & 1 x Filipina) stayed for one week in a Family Apartment. We chose Villa Prescilla as we wanted to be able to self-cater and cook our own meals. The hotel is a short drive from both the airport (via taxi) and the centre of Dumaguete (trike). Getting transport via a trike is easy, plus the trikes here are much bigger than in Manila or Angeles and the prices were reasonable: but it does help if you have a Filipina with you to ensure you are not being taken advantage of (but I still gave tips to drivers). Location is away from the hustle & bustle of Dumaguete, but the road is still very busy and noise from traffic can be a bit of a problem, but main bedroom is at the rear of the building and we kept the doors shut. To avoid being awakened too early by neighbouring roosters or barking dogs, I recommend having the fan on for white noise. The hotel is a bit old and showing its age, but it is still clean, pleasant and had everything we needed, plus the caretaker/s were very helpful and friendly. My only gripe would be in relation to the Wi-Fi signal which at times was non-existent (welcome to the Philippines...lol). In the times we live, Wi-Fi has become a necessity and I was relying on being able to use my laptop, so it was of great importance to me to be able to access the internet when I wanted / needed. Fortunately, each time I really needed to access the internet the caretakers would come to the apartment and were able to get a signal for me through trial and error, plus a lot of persistence and sometimes calling upon the available IT guru (caretakers’ teenage son). My Filipina was very happy with the kitchen facilities and was able to whip up some great meals. Caretakers were also able to arrange a private car with driver for us (day trip to Bindoy) and a taxi for the journey to the airport for our departure.

Sie bieten kostenloses Frühstück (Wählen Sie Bud-Bud oder Toast), aber der Bud-Bud war nicht verfügbar und der Toast ist nicht viel. Wifi hat nicht während des Abends/Nachts gearbeitet. Wir haben das nicht gedacht, aber allgemein fühle ich mich, dass es nicht den Preis wert. Die Atmosphäre schien jedoch schön und laidback. Betten, Bücher, Kunst, etc. (Hoffentlich werden sie von dem sehr kleinen Fischtank entkommen).

We stayed only overnight at this unique beautiful botique hotel as we have to fly the following day to Manila . We were immediately greeted by a very special and charming lady by the name of February, very sweet and charming ! Welcome drink was really timely after 1 hour ride from Zambuanquita where we had our hotel for the Apo island diving the night before. What makes this hotel special is how friendly and accommodating the staff were, not to mention the Philippine hut style “igloo” & beautiful interior design.The role model for how to “treat” a guest is the GM & Operations Manager, Marlon Navarro. I am a Filipino expat who had lived over 40 years in Europe and just on a diving & golf safari with my buddy but I have never seen an “over the top” hospitality from a hotel manager. Marlon answered all our enquiries including where to have a nice dinner, bar to hang out, sightseeing and spa. For spa, don’t miss the hotel spa especially with Jess - one of my best massages in the Philippines. Also, as Marlon noticed that I have an Austrian guest who is a little bit inquisitive about the area, brought us even by himself to the Boulevard as my friend is quite tall for a “tuktuk” (our local Tricicle). I wish UNWND all the success in the world and without a doubt, with Marlon under it’s helm, it will be the top hotel in Dumaguete in due time. Thank you so much for this “unusual “ experience! Das Hotel ist möbliert! Sehr herzlich, das Personal an der Rezeption ist super nett! Helfen Sie mit, den Tauchshop anzurufen, es gibt keine zusätzlichen Kosten für die Check-out-Zeit! Sagen wir, ich muss natürlich keine anderen Ausgaben bezahlen ~ einige Trinkgelder wurden später gegeben! Das Zimmer wurde sehr gut gereinigt. Obwohl ich weiß, dass ich alleine lebe, werde ich dem Flughafen täglich 2 Badetücher kostenlos geben! !! Ich habe auch meinen Namen für das Schild gedruckt! !! Es ist sehr gut. Wenn Sie nach Dumaguete gehen, sollten Sie hierher kommen! Gegenüber dem Hotel befindet sich ein großer Supermarkt und daneben ein Restaurant. Es ist sehr bequem zu essen und ein Taxi zu nehmen. Es ist nur 6 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt und sehr praktisch.

Der Besitzer der Sunshine Villa ist Chinese. 1 bietet auch Reiseberatung an. Der Chef dachte sehr genau nach und es gab einen Platz zum Trocknen von Kleidung. 3, Es ist nur wenige Minuten vom Sibulan Pier in West Bran und nicht weit vom Duma Pier entfernt. 4, das Zimmer sieht besser aus als auf den Fotos, aber auch geräumiger. Einfache Dekoration im IKEA-Stil ist nicht umständlich. Die Bettwäsche ist aus Baumwolle, was bequemer ist. Auf jeder Etage gibt es heißes Wasser zum Trinken und ein 24-Stunden-Warmwasserbad. In jedem Zimmer befindet sich ein Fön. Für meinen Körper, der Angst vor Kälte hat, sind diese alle sehr bequem. Viele auf den Philippinen Viele dieser Hotels sind es nicht Werde beim nächsten Mal wieder hier übernachten.
