Taj Wellington Mews Chennai

The location is perfect, close to OMR, ECR, and easy access to city. The hotel is immaculate with beautiful aroma while entering. The rooms are really large 484ft². If you are smokers, you would need to upgrade to a balcony room as the property is a non-smoking environment. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the sheets are perfect. Each room has a comfortable couch for a work station. The kitchenette is available to use at an additional 3000 inr extra. The dishwasher is available for use. Bathroom is very spacious, and not to mention TAJ Soaps.. Pool, Gymnasium, steam and sauna are complimentary.

This Hotel is the best in Chennai, and the best I’ve experienced is the friendly staff They have an outstanding level of hospitality, their food is top notch, I have came across two beautiful ladies Daksha and if Iam not mistaken Shimli. 🥰🥰🥰🥰in the reception these two were very professional they explained me everything about the timing of restaurant they were very helpful and the ambience is clean and beautiful as well as luxurious. …

It is often said that if we do not give feedback within a few days of availing a service, the feeling (good/bad) withers away and we end up never giving feedback. I stayed in Taj Wellington Mews on 29th April 2024 but could not share feedback as I got busy with certain personal aspects. Now, post one month if I have to share feedback it is purely because I loved my stay there. Not just the infrastructure, which needless to stay is top notch (Taj being Taj), but also the warmth of every single crew especially Rajeshwari Menon who took great care of my stay and ensured that I was attended to - I left with a great sense of joy and satisfaction. The room was beyond expectation and was not just 'value for money' but beyond it - The buffet was great and so was the room service. Thanks a lot once again - We will be visiting soon.

We had lunch at wellington mews match point cafe.. the buffet spread was good and the staff were courteous. They took good care and ensure we enjoyed lunch and kid friendly options were made available. Although they could gave variety in food could recommend for a good lunch..

We went to Taj Wellington Mews as part of our trip across Tamil Nadu and stayed there twice i.e. a total of 4 nights/5 days. What can we say, it is a hotel par excellence headed by the very able Ms. Shilpa Rameja, General Manager. When we arrived, we were given a warm welcome with chai and Ms. Rameja took time out of her busy schedule to explain the salient features of this relatively new property and her team (which is staffed by primarily women as part of IHCL's initiatives to include more women in workforce). Throughout our stay, we were given extra personal attention and were made to feel like home. We want to record our appreciation for some of Mews team who particularly delighted us: 1. Ms. Bharti Chaudhary, Executive Chef - An experienced culinary artist who made our food to order and also helped us in exploring new dishes. Her curated dinner of the Rajasthani delicacy "Dal Bati" was exotic! 2. Ms. Saista Khanum, Deputy Housekeeper - She ensured that our suite was kept in an immaculate condition at all times and attended to our miscellaneous requirements to make us comfortable. 3. Mr. Anuj Jha, F&B Manager - ensured our buffet breakfast was customized to our needs and gave us an interesting perspective on various cuisines offered by Taj (in general, not just in Mews Chennai). 4. Namrata Thapa and Diksha Sharma - for giving us company and our interactions with them we still remember. Of course, Ms. Shilpa Rameja, GM was so very kind and generous with us. In many ways than just one, she made us loyal Taj/IHCL patrons for life who have recommended Mews Chennai to several of our close friends due to the Ms. Rameja's exceptional care! We hope to be back whenever we visit Chennai next!
