I stayed at a hotel on the outskirts of Budapest that was ideal for group tours. It had a large lobby with staff who could speak English. However, the check-in process was slow as they needed to scan the physical passport. I was leading a group of 26 senior citizens from America. Unfortunately, the elevator was not working that day. The passengers had to drag their luggage up as the ground floor rooms were not on the same level. I had a twin room for two nights. The rooms were spacious and colorful with very comfortable beds. There was a mini bar in the room with extra charges. The hotel had a lovely breakfast with a variety of meats, breads, juices, cereals, and more. There was a supermarket called Lidl at a walking distance from the hotel. It had reasonable prices, but it only accepted local currency or credit cards. This hotel was good if you had a private vehicle for transportation.
