Review of Casa Faraona Luxury Residences, Madrid I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Faraona Luxury Residences in Madrid, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and comfort that truly set the tone for our stay. Incredible Room Experience The room we stayed in was nothing short of spectacular. Every detail was meticulously crafted, exhibiting a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The bed was heavenly, adorned with silky sheets that made it feel like a dream. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the vibrant city. Exceptional Service The service at Casa Faraona was outstanding. The staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive, and eager to ensure our stay was perfect. They went above and beyond to cater to our needs, making us feel like valued guests every step of the way. Delicious Breakfast and Free Cocktails One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful spread that catered to every taste, from fresh pastries to hearty options. Additionally, the complimentary cocktails were a lovely touch, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the ambiance of the residence. Prime Location The location of Casa Faraona Luxury Residences couldn’t be better. Nestled in the heart of Madrid, it provided easy access to some of the city’s top attractions, dining, and shopping. We loved being able to explore the vibrant streets and return to our luxurious oasis at the end of the day. In conclusion, Casa Faraona Luxury Residences exceeded all our expectations. With its stunning rooms, impeccable service, delicious breakfast, complimentary cocktails, and prime location, it offers an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return and make more wonderful memories in this beautiful hotel!

Super Lage, schnelles WLAN, bequemes Bett. Der Waschraum war ein nettes Extra. Zu den Nachteilen: Am ersten Tag kamen ständig Leute mit ihren Zimmerkarten in mein Zimmer, und nicht alle waren Hotelangestellte – ziemlich unheimlich. Eines Nachts waren ein paar Nachbarn ziemlich laut. Schön für sie, aber nicht so gut für meinen Schlaf – die Schalldämmung könnte also besser sein. Und ich habe auch noch eine Allergie gegen das Duschgel entwickelt, was mir vorher noch nie passiert ist. Es war also eine durchwachsene Erfahrung.

Das Hotel liegt in einer unübersichtlichen Gegend mit engen Gassen. U-Bahn- und Bushaltestellen sind nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Weniger als 24 Stunden vor Anreise erhalten Sie ein Online-Registrierungsformular für Ihre persönlichen Daten und einen Zugangscode. Der Check-in verlief problemlos. Bei meiner Ankunft waren jedoch keine Parkplätze mehr frei; ich wurde gebeten, mir einen Parkplatz auf der Straße zu suchen. Die Lobby ist sehr angenehm und verfügt über einen Getränke- und Snackautomaten. Die Akustik ist extrem schlecht! Der Lärm aus dem Flur war nachts sehr störend, da die Eingangstür nicht isoliert ist (sogar Licht dringt durch den unteren Spalt). Normale Gespräche und Kindergeschrei waren durch Wände und Decke deutlich zu hören. Die Ausstattung war vollständig, aber das Fehlen eines Wasserkochers war sehr enttäuschend. :( Das Zimmer war insgesamt in gutem Zustand, allerdings war die blau gestrichene Wand zerkratzt, die automatischen Vorhänge funktionierten nicht und der Herd war aufgrund eines schlechten Stromanschlusses außer Betrieb. Die Reinigung war gut und erfolgte täglich, das Personal war jedoch nur bis 15:00 Uhr anwesend.

We stayed at the hotel for one night and overall had a very positive experience. The hotel is quite large and conveniently located slightly inside from the main street, in a quieter inner area. This actually makes car access very comfortable and convenient. The room itself was great — blackout curtains (which are very important for good sleep), a comfortable mattress, and everything felt clean and well maintained. The service was also good and professional. For a short stay, the price-quality ratio is absolutely fair. Overall, we were satisfied and would consider staying here again.

Love the theater theme throughout the hotel. The spiral staircase is a work of art, and the overall atmosphere is very sophisticated and chic. It really stands out from standard chain hotels. On the location: Perfectly situated on Gran Vía! I was able to walk to almost everything. Near Callao, Sol, and the Royal Palace are just minutes away. The reception staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful, which made the stay even better. Many thanks to Roberto and Patricia at the front desk for their exceptional service. Roberto was incredibly helpful with recommendations and arranging luggage storage while I continued my trip to Morocco. Patricia’s warm personality, efficiency, and attention to detail truly stood out from organizing my wake-up call to advising on the best route to the airport to avoid morning traffic. Always kind and smiling, she really makes you feel at home. Lastly, a big thank you to the lady for arranging help with my two large pieces of luggage, and to another gentleman at reception who made my check-out seamless. I forgot their names. But I highly recommend this hotel not only for its excellent location, but also for its stylish art deco and theater-themed rooms, which I find very stylish and defo a nice break from the standard and generic hotel decor standards. Especially the staffs who truly make me feel at home.. Thank you!

I stayed for one night and needed a clean place to rest, the hostel is near the center and there are many restaurants and coffee shops around the area. The room was clean and I approached having a private bathroom/shower and share it just with my roommate, the area is also quiet at night. I haven't used any of their amenities but they have towels, toothbrushes, slippers,.. if you pay extra, they also have meetings and events. it seems a balance between a chill and party hostel

The location is convenient. The staff are friendly I like the public area on the ground floor, if there could be more charging place would be nice. However, only 2 bathroom for 12 people is not enough. One of the bathroom only have cold water and the sink is outside the toilet. I think it is a fair option for such a price in the city, still there is an improvement. If you are a solo traveller that need a short stay, it is an acceptable choice.

Excellent stay, just as expected from this brand. I upgraded to a higher floor and bigger room for a small fee and really enjoyed the room; spacious, stylish, spotless, and with very comfortable bedding and pillows. The in-room entertainment was great, with a soundbar for Chromecast/YouTube, plus the option to request a turntable or guitar at no extra cost, which was a fun touch. I didn’t use the pool, bar, or restaurant since I preferred exploring the many great dining options within a 5–10 minute walk. The hotel’s location is good: very walkable to Atocha Station (my main reason for choosing it) and close to the city’s three major museums. For getting into town, buses are generally more convenient as the nearest metro is Line 1; for Line 3 (Lavapiés) it’s a short walk, but the route is lively with plenty of restaurants and bars along the way.

Wir kamen um 3 Uhr (zeitlich geprüft) in die Wohnung und fanden heraus, dass ein Reiniger noch im Mittelpunkt der Reinigung war. Wir sprachen mit der Rezeption, die sofort einen weiteren Reiniger schickte, um zu helfen und sagten, dass die Wohnung in 10 Minuten bereit wäre. Wir kamen in die Wohnung 20 Minuten später und fühlten sich so, als ob der Boden nicht gemoppt worden wäre. Ich blieb dort für 5 Nächte und fand, dass die einzigen meiner Slips schwarz waren, die immer schmutzigen Slips im Waschraum nach der Dusche hinterließ. Wir hatten in einem 2-Zimmer-2-Waschzimmer-Wohnung geblieben. Das Möbel war jedoch sehr seltsam. Während das Master-Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten zusammengestellt war, war das andere kleine Schlafzimmer mit nur Schleiftür mit einem Doppelbett! Mein Freund war in einem 2-Zimmer-Wohnung 1 Waschzimmer hat eine viel bessere Konfiguration, die ein normales Doppelzimmer und ein Doppelzimmer ist (wie auf der Website empfohlen). Außerdem war der Wohnzimmer ein bisschen dunkel. Im Allgemeinen war der Aufenthalt noch ziemlich zufriedenstellend. Das Empfangspersonal war freundlich, hilfsbereit und effizient. Die Bereitstellung von grundlegenden Kochelemente einschließlich Öl war gut. Eine Sache in Reinigungs-Kit und Toilettenpapier war jedoch für einen langen Aufenthalt unzureichend. Wir mussten zur Rezeption gehen (nur öffnet 0900-1700) um zusätzliche Lieferungen zu erhalten. Wünschen Sie dem Reiniger würde den Ort nach der Aufenthaltsdauer der Gäste lagern. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer sehr günstigen Lage. 5 Minuten bis Metro Palos de la Frontera, 10 Minuten bis zum Bahnhof Atocha, 2 Minuten bis Carrefour Express, 7 Minuten bis Lidl Supermarkt. Es gibt auch einen anderen großen Supermarkt Dia in der Nähe. Vor allem bietet das Gebäude kostenlose Gepäcklagereinrichtungen in 3,4 & 5 Etagen. Sie brauchen 1 €, um den Schließfach zu betreiben, aber Sie können es zurück, wenn Sie den Schlüssel zurückgeben. Das ist wirklich bequem.

This review is not about the €9 breakfast charge. I paid for the breakfast because I had eaten it. This review is about how I was treated afterwards. A simple misunderstanding over breakfast escalated into one of the most unprofessional hotel experiences I have ever had. After I politely suggested that the hotel communicate its breakfast policy more clearly to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future, a staff member, Yansel, began shouting at me from outside the hotel, called me back inside, repeatedly accused me of “trying to play with him,” raised his voice throughout the interaction, claimed that he was the manager, refused my request to speak with the General Manager, and aggressively handled my personal belongings. He pushed and kicked my luggage towards the exit, damaged my bags, repeatedly shouted at me to take my belongings and leave, and I also felt mocked while trying to communicate in English instead of being treated with patience and professionalism. As a solo female traveller, I found this behaviour intimidating and completely unacceptable. Guests should be able to raise feedback respectfully without being shouted at, aggressively confronted, or having their belongings handled in this manner. I later spoke with Raul, who was professional, apologised for the way I had been treated, acknowledged that there had been been a misunderstanding regarding the breakfast, confirmed that I was entitled to leave my luggage after check-out, and informed me that Yansel was not the General Manager or the manager. I appreciate Raul’s professionalism. However, that does not change what happened. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at Hotel Mayerling Madrid. There are many hotels in Madrid where guests can expect to be treated with professionalism and respect. In my experience, this was not one of them. As a solo female traveller, I did not feel safe after the way this situation was handled. For that reason, I cannot recommend this hotel and would encourage other travellers to consider alternative accommodation.
