Hotels in der Nähe von Smart Box in Athen

Ich bin traurig, dass dieses Problem vor einigen Jahren existierte, und bis letzte Woche hat sich nichts geändert... Ich habe nicht Triadvisor geprüft, bevor ich buchen Ich öffne das nur, um die anderen dieses Problem zu wissen, aber ich sehe es ist ein altes und ungelöstes Problem. Nach der schrecklichen ersten Nacht, die der Rezeption erzählte, was passiert ist, oh ok ich werde den Hausmeister schicken, um das Zimmer zu sanifizieren, wenn wir am Abend zurückgekehrt, ich denke, niemand hat nie in das Zimmer eingetreten, coz das Blatt noch blutig war. Zweite Nacht, dieses Mal änderten sie uns das Zimmer, das gleiche Problem während ich schlimmer und schlimmer wurde und Glück haben sie mich nur jagen (wir waren mit 2 Kindern 2 und eine halbe, und 8 Monate Baby). Ich ging wieder hinunter zum Rezeption und wir hatten ein anderes Zimmer, aber nichts geändert. Das einzige, was sie tun müssen, ist, alles in der Bin zu schütteln, um sanitieren und tief reinigen von der Dachoppe bis zum Grünbuch, dann die Wand und alles neu zu malen. (Wir waren 4 aber in den ersten beiden Zimmern hatten wir 3 Einzelbetten, in der letzten nur ein Doppelbett)

Negative Punkte: Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet weniger Auswahl an Speisen. Es muss eine Fruchtpresse und Spiegeleier enthalten. Schwarze bleiben in der Nähe. Positive Punkte: Die Lage ist sehr gut mit zwei U-Bahn-Stationen, insbesondere Omonia, wo zwei U-Bahn-Linien miteinander interagieren. Sie sind für Touristen sehr hilfreich, um interessante Orte wie die Akropolis zu besuchen. Der Service des Personals ist ausgezeichnet. Indische Restaurants in der Nähe bieten leckeres, aber günstigeres Essen.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. They are very new and need to work on their communication skills. We were told that the rooftop was closed and that we need to order breakfast the day prior and it would be delivered to our room at the desired time. We waited for our breakfast the following morning and it did not arrive. We went downstairs to hear that breakfast is served on the rooftop ( which we were told was closed). Apparently they changed the plan and didn’t think to inform us. Since we were being picked up for a tour…we had to hurry out with a light snack. That same night, at 11:30 pm we heard someone knocking on a door…only to have the door opened by a man (who apologized). As we were two women travelling together -this was a very upsetting security incident. There are no latches to ensure ure our safety from the inside. The decor is modern and calming. There is a nespresso coffee machine supplied (nice touch). The room was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed our stay…but we’re disappointed in missing out on breakfast and the man unlocking our door late at night. A bit far from the centre of town-but on a Main Street.

Central location, beautiful building from the outside, the lobby and common areas are very tastefully renovated, it smells very good, GRECOTEL has done a great job with ”THE DOLLI” and the renovation from the very first impression. However, the hotel seems to have overlooked the installation of soundproof windows, a major shortcoming in 2023/2024, especially considering the room rates. The single-glazed windows let in outside noise from nearby bars/restaurant (with annoying (live rock) music) and street cleaners (at 1:00 am) , severely impacting sleep quality. The initial welcome was exceptional, but the overall experience gradually declined. The Acropolis Suite boasted a stunning view, but was spoiled by an inconvenient layout, with the bed awkwardly positioned (in a corner between the wall and the window, so you had to crawl out) and lacking privacy without closed curtains (the guest/s of the suite next door could see directly into my bed.). The room's design was lacking with poorly placed electrical outlets and no desk to work on. A connecting door to a neighboring suite presented soundproofing issues, allowing noise to be easily heard. In addition, on the 4th floor, where the suite was located, the sound of chairs being moved in the restaurant above and the housekeeping activity in the hallway during the day was quite audible. After moving to another suite due to the bed layout (on Day 2), I found cleanliness to be an issue with several noticeable hair clusters on the floor - It seems the room wasn't even mopped beforehand, which is the only explanation I can think of. The suite facing the street suffered from significant noise disturbance due to inadequate sound proofing, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. While breakfast and service were excellent, with friendly and attentive staff, these positives were overshadowed by problems with sleep and cleanliness in the second suite. Initially worth a 4 out of 5 rating, these drawbacks lead me in rating the hotel at 2 out of 5. Light sleepers are unlikely to enjoy a restful night here.

This is an exceptionally lovely place to stay in the centre of Athens. Walking distance to the Acropolis, Plaka District and all the fabulous restaurants. Very nice rooms and amenities with very friendly staff. Excellent service. Make sure you go up to the roof top bar for food and drinks with a fabulous night time view of the Acropolis and make sure you say hi to Marios… the best and friendliest of bar hosts!

Das Hotel ist sehr gut für Ausflüge in die Altstadt gelegen (2km enfernt). Mein Zimmer war sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Ich hatte ein Zimmer zum Innenhof und etwas entfernt vom Aufzug. Das war sehr ruhig zum Schlafen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und umfangreich. Der Pool auf der Dachterasse war erfrischend und der Ausblick grandios.

Ausgezeichnete Lage sehr nahe dem U-Bahnhof und nur einen Bahnhof im Zentrum. . Sehr ruhige Umgebung mit gastronomischen Optionen in der Nähe und für die Nacht sehr beleuchtet. Die Zimmer sind sehr ruhig und trotz ihrer Teilung sehr intim, da jedes Bett mit einem Garten, Nachtlicht und Schüssel ausgestattet ist. Es verfügt über eine wunderbare Terrasse !!!! . Frühstück mit verschiedenen, gesunden, alles reichhaltig und zu einem sehr guten Preis. Ich unterstreich die freundliche und solidarische Rezeption Mariano, der sich bereit gemacht hat, mich zu orientieren und mir zu helfen, wie ich mich in der Stadt beherrschen (öffentlicher Verkehr, interessante Touristen-Websites usw.), Da es mein erstes Mal in Athen war und ich nichts wusste. Mein zweiter Besuch in Athen war dieses Hotel in einer perfekten Lage in der Nähe von allem, was wir besuchen wollten. Das Frühstück war gut, das Personal war erstaunlich und das Hotel war sehr sicher nach einer bestimmten Zeit die automatischen Türen geschlossen und Sie konnten nur mit Ihrer Schlüsselkarte eingehen. Wir reservierten die Junior Suite mit der Akropolis-Ansicht, die es nicht enttäuscht. Sie hatten Schlepper an den Türen und Fenstern, so dass die Sonne nicht das erste tötete Sie am Morgen. Die Reinigungspersonal waren erstaunlich, dass sie unser Zimmer zweimal am Tag reinigen, so dass wir sie am Ende unseres Besuchs am Spitzen hinterließen. Dieses Hotel empfiehlt sehr jedem, der diese schöne Stadt besucht.
